You can add parking lights as a featured. Not sure I'd ever use them but regardless...here's the coding using OBDEleven:

Nice! I believe default shutdown time is around 3 hours. You could also code to use power management to shutdown when the battery gets too low. Granted it’s not bulletproof as the battery ages.
