I’m a mom who lost a daughter full term at 40 weeks 3 days to stillbirth, I’m also a Paramedic. To this sweet mom I promise you that her supplements would have done nothing to change that outcome, horrific things happen and you’re an incredible mom who obviously would have done anything to protect her babies, sometimes it’s just out of our control. Now the loss mom in me is just legitimately enraged. What an absolute trash, uneducated woman who is beyond out of touch to say that to you. That says everything about how gross she is, and nothing about you. Sending all my love.
    Also
Hannah, thankyou for making such wonderful videos to spread awareness about how gross MLMs are

I'm 31 weeks pregnant at the moment, and as an AMA mom-to-be, I constantly fear stillbirth, so to hear your story absolutely breaks my heart! I am SO sorry for your loss, sweet Mama! I haven't heard the story yet about the loss mama, I'm genuinely thinking about skipping it, but I'm already enraged, just by what you've mentioned in your comment! I hope God has richly blessed you and your family and helped you in healing! ❤ much love from another mama! ❤

Tacking onto your comment. Loss moms constantly look for blame, and often turn it on themselves to explain why their baby died. What did I do? What SHOULD I have done?

I went through it last year, and have had a lot of things said to me which I won’t go into, but I think you spoke about it and acknowledged it really well and that deserves a shout out. • @geslinam9703
      @geslinam9703 2 роки тому +108

@@voicey5831 I think what she is saying is that some people have the attitude that the pain of having a just born baby who has died either in utero or during the birthing process is not as bad as having an older child dying. Why people would think this, I don’t know. Bonding starts at the moment of conception, or at least for the mother, when she finds out she is pregnant. Losing a child at any stage, before or after birth, is unbearably painful.

@@voicey5831 i think it’s because some people would try and say the baby was never alive outside of the womb so it’s not as hard of a loss. there are people out there who would actually say “at least you didn’t have to see them grow up and then lose them”, etc. some people like to play grief olympics and claim certain tragedies are harder than others. it sucks that there are people out there who think this is some sort of contest to be won. stillbirth is the death of a child and a tragedy and shouldn’t be minimized. that’s what i think the op is trying to get at

I was literally just talking to my husband this morning about the predatory nature of hunbots and my sadness over losing a wonderful friend this way as well. I spent an entire year sharing amazing, wild, once in a lifetime experiences living and working overseas with a girl who became like a sister to me. We shared important life events, supported each other through thick and thin for over 15 years. Then she took advantage of that relationship after learning about a medical trauma/early retirement from a career I loved in order to try to rope me into YL. It truly devastated me to realize a friend like her would swoop in at my absolute lowest point. Regarding the weight loss MLM, I just wanted to share something. Last year, 2019, on Christmas Day, I had a heart attack. Since I was in foster care, I had no access to genetic medical records or I would have known that heart disease has been a major factor in the death of many women in my family (Since the heart attack I found it out). I was also a smoker, and sometimes ate things that weren't good (as we all do lol), and, although not obese, I definitely could have stood to lose a few pounds. So, after my heart attack, I turned to FB friends and family asking about weight loss, healthy living tips, etc. I quit smoking right away, (not easy, so thank you Nicorrette), started eating healthier, exercised more, and I lost 20 pounds, and my last check up with my Cardiologist was amazing. When I posted my questions about healthy living, of course I got MASSES of huns in my DM's. I even had huns from make up companies telling me if I look good, wearing their make up, I'll feel good and wow, would that make a difference lol. I'm also a hopeless Tomboy who does not wear make up, at all lol. I got all the health and fitness huns and even one hun who used my former foster kid trauma as an excuse to try to sell me her MLM crap. Anyway, thanks to anti MLM advocates like you, I stayed away. Losing weight is about diet, exercise, attitude, encouragement and support from loved ones. There's no magic to it. My doctor agrees lol. Sorry for the long message, Keep your videos coming, you are doing great!! Thank you for letting me share.

Glad I waited until the kids were at school before listening to this one. I’m a mess. I hope the woman who posted that gut wrenching story is okay, and that her little one is healthy and growing stronger each day.
It hit me hard because [trigger warning just incase] 9 years ago I almost lost baby number 3 at 6 days old. It was a difficult pregnancy, and I had her 4 weeks early. Thankfully she was strong enough to bring home (she was 5lb 2oz), but one night just stopped breathing 30 minutes after a feed. Thankfully the ambulance made it in time. While she was in hospital I barely left her bedside and I looked and felt awful. I got PPD, and about 6 weeks after my daughter was first admitted into hospital, I discovered my husband had met an old female friend in the carpark of the hospital one afternoon, and long story short, was waiting for me to visit family so he could start an affair with her. Apparently I had “let myself go” and wasn’t paying him the attention he needed.
So listening to this mummas story made me red hot with anger. How dare people prey on the vulnerable during their weakest moment. It’s truely evil.
For those who are interested, my husband and I are still together, though it took a long time to gain trust again. He knew he messed up and has worked hard to keep our marriage strong. In fact, he’s been my rock since I was diagnosed with MS 18 months ago, and I’m glad I didn’t walk away.
Sorry for the long post, just…argh. People suck.

Hey Mama, coming from someone who has also had an MLM pitch to me regarding my premature baby…. I am so sorry that happened to you. My experience was not even as extreme and inhumane as yours, and I can’t imagine the pain you experienced in those situations and how bad it must have stung to have this complete dickwad exploit the loss of your precious baby, and the premature birth of your other child. Pregnancy changes is, changes our bodies, and our bodies don’t need to be “fixed” your body grew two precious babies, and I am sure your husband appreciates that body, and for someone to hold that against you just makes me literally sick for you. I had a friend ask me to sit through an MLM pitch via zoom while in the hospital with my own premature baby, but what happened to you is mine story times a billion and it just makes me so angry! So many people get sucked into this nonsense by just going along with stuff because they "don't want to be rude." It's not rude to say no to people! What's rude is when the sales reps refuse to take No for an answer and continue to push their products and schemes on people who are clearly not interested.

as someone who has used a lot of different kinds of makeup, I can confirm that Younique products look worse than the cheapest eyeshadow you can find at Family Dollar.

Hannah, I was crying right along with you when hearing what the poor woman went through. I am someone who’s had friends who’ve held parties that I attended and always tried to spend $20, but always refused the pushes to “ sign up” Gah…I never knew how truly vile and predatory MLM ‘s were until watching the Lularoe doc. Wow! So much crap disguised as friendship and support! Thanks for your channel. Looking forward to exploring your videos more. You are doing great work.

That is Horrific! That poor woman has been through so much and to try and minipulate her into buying your crappy products when she is clearly still healing from her trauma is BEYOND disgusting.

I recently came across your content so I've been binging a lot of your videos. I just have to say that the baby story hit me differently. I had two miscarriages in 2020 and if someone I considered a friend would have said this to me, I would have probably been in the same boat as her. I had a miscarriage in May 2020, and another one right before Thanksgiving in November of 2020. The entire year was so messed up and I feel as though someone saying that would have pushed me over the ledge. It irritates me beyond belief that someone could say something so heartless to someone they considered their friend. I hope she's doing well and I wish her so much happiness in life because she definitely deserves it. People are so cruel for no reason.
Thank you for sharing these horror stories for others to see. It shows how predatory these companies are!

To the girl with the tragic story:
I am so sorry for your loss and I pray your rainbow baby is doing well. I had a micro preemie in 2020 and know how hard that journey is.

That story with the TW was horrible. Lord. how can people be so callous. Then I answer my own question: desperation. These companies really behave like cults.

I’m sitting here crying my face off Hannah …. Sending love to this sweet lady. I can only imagine how she feels. These people are sick and to say something like that, to someone who lost a child. Please keep up the good work Hannah.
