Man you have some of the greatest information it's information on somebody that's just starting out like me because I had no idea how to do this I wanna thank you and say keep up the good work
I appreciate that!
I've been kind of wondering about this subject for a long time appreciate you doing it 😁👍
I love learning more about the whole thing 😊
Its true they have always been very courteous about when you miss something here or there.
Thanks i had some one send my coin's and i think they did not do it wright PCGS graded it ms 64 but not doubled die now I see why I really appreciate the information and the time you take out of your day to do so
Thanks Daniel ! Your videos are always a wealth of information and great to watch !
Thank you for sharing your video on submitting coins for grading . Especially mint error .
You and rob finds treasure are the best when it comes to explaining how to submit to pcgs
PCGS is very easy to submit coins to. You’re right, they show you exactly how to fill out everything and how to package coins to send.
Thank you for the information, Daniel. Definitely something to keep in mind as my actual collection slowly grows. In the meantime it's pretty much just bragging rights between my brother and I.
I'm ready to submit my coins. I've joined PCGS. Got my packet. This helps a lot. Thanks.
Man i learn daily from you mr Malone, i have a few coins i 1 day want to get graded.
Daniel I glad you explained cosign submission I have pennies from my bank and pcgs hope to make some money.
Daniel, good news for Portsmouth, Ohio. Finally Chuck Ealy has been nominated to be inducted into the college footbal hall of fame. Three cheers for Chuck.
Thanks you for the info !!! Valuable as always.
Really great on Portsmouth coins website .2 gold pcs 1986 and 1928. In capital set. That should be sold by the end of this weekend. I would grab that in a heartbeat but met my gold quota last year.
Great video very helpful thanks 🙏
You are a lot of help THANKS!
@CoinHELPu thank you brother 🤗
Great video and information as always!
Thanks for your information 👍
Thanks Daniel. You Da MAN! 💰
Thanks for your help
I'm done with PCGS for the foreseeable future. When my economy service submissions come back quicker than club member Gold Shield submissions, it's beyond ridiculous. I'm a platinum member, but I'm all about ANACS until PCGS gets their act together. I think their failures to fulfill orders in a timely manner (and you mentioned NGC is even worse right now) is going to elevate ANACS over the coming year.
I’ve always felt ANACS was under-appreciated compared to the other two. Nothing against PCGS or NGC who I both respect and have coins from, but ANACS has been around 50 years now and I trust their opinions just as much.
We use both . Tho ANACS is Under rated it seems ! ?
your alright THANK YOU !
Thank you
Great information I'm ready to join pcgs and send my first 25 coins I've been waiting to have graded even if they don't grade out the way I really want it's my first time I'm testing the waters
great video ☺️👍
😊 Thanks
Cool vid thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
More!!More!!🤣🤣
I Never thought I’d say this but km hanging up the coin collecting it was a nice 17-20 year run since I was 6-7 years old , I’m on to better things the chances of finding an error coin or big ddo is like hitting the lottery I’m always so optimistic and so happy to get my rolls hit the coin shops and buy some nice silver coins but in the past week I’ve switched to my other childhood love again which is Pokémon and the cards are actually worth something and much easier to find something rare and expensive, thank you for the video Daniel :)
I'm sorry to hear that
I wouldnt say its like" hitting the lottery", maybe its possible you havent developed an eye for this type of thing as of yet. I see roll hunt videos and people absolutly find these errors out there. All these dealers and collectors get them from somewhere. Anything of value that is found by searching packs, rolls and so on is going to be a very involved process with things you need to learn. Good luck man.
You'll be back.
The errors are what makes them worth more than face. You better be sure it’s gonna be worth more than the grading fees.
Found a quarter without no face has two bats 2020 do you think it's worth anything.
Great info. I’ve been thinking of getting some coins graded. 1909 vbd s 14 d ect. Nice coins payed good money. Would ❤️ to see how i did.
I have a 1976 DDR Dime and it is not die deterioration. I have never sent a count for grading but I’ve never come across a true double die and this one is incredible. I can’t find an example of a DDR 1976 dime anywhere.
I discovered a 1956 Benjimin half dollar in a mint set that has E plurbus unum doubling. Is this where I'd use these guy's services?
I have a mint error coin that is not listed in their known errors. NCS graded one as genuine and sold in 2009 but that's the only one I've found.
I've never graded a coin and want to do this right.
Thank u Daniel I never have submitted any coins yet. Do u fill the paper work out on line. Or do u fill it out and put it in your package or both thank again. U are the best at teaching us. Thanks again. God Bless
I do online and I have a video on that.
I don’t have internet. Is there a way I can submit my coin by receiving a printed copy on paper and sent to me through the mail?
Just curious, if you don't want to answer that's absolutely fine. Are things like PCGS membership, grading and shipping allowable tax deductions for coin dealers? Again, I don't mean to pry; I've just always wondered if you can recover some of the cost.
Thanks for another fine video, Daniel.
Any expense is deductible but the tax code is more complicated than a dollar for a dollar.
I'm in the process of verification of attributes on my ike proofs right now. It's a mess for sure. I'm using the Ike group and variety Vista to confirm an fs-103 or fs-106. Supposedly pcgs does not have the correct example or examples on some of there images.
Good luck!!
I think ANACS is the way to go for mint errors unless you have something valuable: like over a $500 value. If you are selling an MS off-center Indian cent, for example, there will be a bidding war regardless of which slab the coin is in. You might be talking about a $500 coin which an error collector will not discount for being in an ANACS or ICG holder. Those companies aren't tacking on a $65 error attribution fee.
Agreed
Look I got back 1969s genuine XF (98 damage) is that worth anything?
It’s worth a penny. You only send those off if they’re doubled dies. Please buy a 2022 price guide and use PCGS and NGC price guides before submitting coins.
🤝📈
hey Daniel
do u use mr drexler for help?
Hi ! How you know the value to insure the coin if not graded ?
Watch my video on that, just search my channel.
Im trying to submit mint error coins but Its says i need to use a pdf submission form to submit error coins but when i print it it says not valid after 06/23 and thats the only one do i just send it with the epired paper form and how do i log it on the website please help

Hi there, i just wanted to ask if I have 1958 penny is it worth anything.. Have penny's from 1920 1969. 1970s 1974s 1972s penny's but live on very little money
There's several online price guides to look up the value of your coins, you can start with numismedia.
I have a special quarter that COULD be a mint error....OR....it could be "post mint damage." Is there a source I can explore that will help me BEFORE I spend the money to have it graded?
Error-ref.com
Man I have a bronze wheat 1943? It's crazy looking coin/has a corrosion through on reverse opposite of date😊
Hello sir, I have discovered a new variety on a US JUDD pattern coin. What should I do to get the news out?
Go to CONECA website and send an email to an attributer about it.
@CoinHELPu thank you. I do not own the coin, I made the discovery from pcgs trueview images. Will I get some recognition for my discovery?
@@7thHanuman you need to talk to someone at CONECA about that.
Yeah I can see the benefits but it will be the same thing as 69 outta 70 but as u say the younger gen will get more out of it I think and they only have 10 options to grade the coin will make it easier for em lolo I'm old school so ill stick w Sheldon till I have to switch butni also like the one Theo ten thing as well it would save writing on the flips 😊
Hi,, i just got a package from pcgs and im so lost. This is my first time seding coins to get graded and i just got em back..about 5 coins got ms66 or better and thế other 5 coins got lowerer grades ms65 n under.. My question is... How come i didnt get any VARIETIES attrubutions... I simply just got the highest grades possible for all 10coins n no DDOs or DDRs no FS.. I know i was using the 8 free vouchers and added an additional $20 for varieties.. Idk what i did wrong.. Maybe because i didnt have enoi
You either don’t have the varieties you think you have or you didn’t pay for the variety attribution service, they don’t just check your coins for varieties.
What is the name of your site. Yes I hear it but not sure what I'm hearing
portsmouthcoinshop.com
Can I trust my local pawn shop that does mynt grading, but only wants 1960s and earlier but doesn't believe in mynt error coins.
I have a 1942 wheat penny that has a silver finish it is not steel a magnet does not stick a don't know what I should do I heard in 1942 a aluminum penny was made but I don't think it is that one to me it is a copper penny with a silver clad have you ever heard of that
Lol..Ment to say..ON 1 side of this Old coin .it has a Cross..an on each corner of the cross it has a different thing on it.like a lion an other things..the Backside of it. Has a center picture. Then has small dots all in a row going around the coin..an I can't make out anything else unfortunately..But the coin shop near me said they didn't know what it was..but they put it in a machine an it said it was 95%Copper an 10% Zinc..An that it old.cause it's thin. If I Remember correctly it weight is 2.3grams an has no date on it no were..So I'm going to join your website an send a picture of it to you.an if you can give me any information about it I would be very appreciative..thanks from John Ness from North Carolina..
I have a 1982 p over s or p over D mm quarter
This is wonderful information, if you would, let us know more about grading notes
I have a video on that, just search my channel. Thanks
"You have to make sure the variety is listed or you will waste your time" (paraphrasing)
So how do people get discovery coins if they send in something that isn't listed as a known variety?
I've done several videos on that subject. You go to my channel and search. Here's one ua-cam.com/video/vAybnlaTp98/v-deo.html
How do you sell coins if you do not have ebay?
I have a physical coin shop, brick and mortar and I sell off my website.
What makes a coin tone?
Oxidation, do a wikepedia search for details or search my videos on toning.
@@CoinHELPu thanks. Just got the grab bag and I'M VERY PLEASED! WOW!
I'm a platinum member and I don't wear the t shirt either 😂
How far off center counts as off center?
There’s no amount
You know what I know...the difference between an amateur and a professional is a diploma on the wall... rednecks on the mountain can make my car run where a trained mechanic tells me I need a new engine... true story
Telling me I have a 66 isn't good enough, putting it on the package isn't good enough, for the charge... they need to show me where the nicks and dings are!
My problem is I don't have credit card...I have got some good coins. I am working on the problem 😊
You don't need a credit card. My site is free. You don't click on ads. coinauctionshelp.com/welcome-to-coinhelpu-community/
With prices that high I can't afford this because it's a gamble.
If I won I would loose my chance to get on SSI disability and that would definitely not be worth it.
It’s strange you have to write down all the details about the coin when your paying them for that very reason.
You're paying them to grade an authenticate not figure out what coin you have.
@@CoinHELPu will they provide an. Extra description or detail of a coin if you haven’t mentioned it, example 1955 double . You send it in for grading would they contact you to make adjustment on application or payment to receive the proper slab. And also is it possible to have a error coin and get a Ms70 ? Since the grade deals with the coins strikes
@@JONJon-COD you need to send PCGS or NGC and email or call them and ask these questions.
I've thought these very same questions. These grading companies get expensive when I first started I thought if we sent in coins to get graded they would look for errors as well, after all they're getting paid to look at details and every spot on our coins but they can't give an error attribution if it is? Looks to me it's just another way for them to make more $$ I mean graders should already be trained for these challenges if they come about its sad greed spawns from internships in the very people we seek acclamation from. I question a lot of these grades given wouldn't surprise me one bit if some were based off of the person or select club the services see fit while getting rich off those of us they issue mediocrity to.
I love having PCGS graded coins but HATE sending them in!! And every video about it has the same advice, “it’s easy, but call them when you’re confused”!! Just wait until you try to send a US, foreign and a mint error at the same time!!!!! I just don’t understand why it has to be so confusing and complicated. But I guess the payoff is getting to wait 2 months and paying hundreds of dollars once you do figure it out
I started sending coins off 20 years ago and it wasn’t that complicated. Their website even has step by step directions. You can’t go wrong.
its still alot for someone that's computer illiterate not everyone can compute and pricess allbthe information and so im just saying someone that's already a member could make a few bucks being that outlet for others
I have even more videos on this very topic, just search my channel. No one can teach you experience, you just have to try and learn. Most errors are not worth the effort and using sold error auctions and price guides can help with that. There’s just no real short cuts.
sorry John Wexler
No, I don’t mess much with varieties. I stick with the varieties and errors that are worth the money to spend time finding. I don’t waste time on minor ones.
I think PCGS is going down hill, the way they treat their members is terrible and their turnaround times are misleading, in my case they charged me for a 30 day service and it took over 3 months to get my coins not only that but they kept the COA's and the original us mint boxes i don't know why, y'all be surprised at the amount of complaints and bad reviews they have specially with the BBB, being the most expensive grader is not always the best.
I am not surprised, NGC is doing the same, so I never said anything about PCGS reviews or great service nor that they're better because they're more expensive. I stated that coins can often sell for more in their holder and currently their turnaround time is faster than NGC. I send coins out every month to both and some do slip through the cracks and take longer than they should.
I need you to come to my home and help me.
I don't offer that service and this is the reason I do videos to show people how to do what I don't do as a business.
@@CoinHELPu it's okay I'm going to take my to the Fresno coin gallery wich will do everything for me.
It's almost getting to the point where these companies are trying to phase out grading errors in general...
Why do you say that? Then they would go out of business.
@@CoinHELPu well i look at the fees PCGS charges and now NGC has just changed their fees as well.
@@CastleDocrine87 that doesn’t mean they want to phase out their own business.
@@CoinHELPu Well, if they're not trying to phase it out then why raise the prices? That's not much of an incentive to get me to want to send my errors in..
@@CastleDocrine87 so you think they want to go out of business? That doesn’t make sense, companies don’t raise prices so they can go out of business.
Hello. I just found a duplicate Star Note (2013) printed in Fort Worth. (B04161146*) What should I do now? And thank you for all the information you provide. 🙂
It’s too modern to be worth much above face value.
