A monster box of Morgans sounds awesome
We appreciate you Daniel good work on this video
I love your site and learn so much. Thank you for sharing Daniel!
Thx for the information Daniel.
Daniel. I really enjoyed this video. I watch closely as you went through the different grades and looked at my coin. I did watch this video a few times but, in doing that, I believe that I graded my Morgan correctly. Super helpful. I want to thank you very much for this video.
Dear sir , I am anxious to receive second.,Third , fourth, fifth, & 6th opinions on a sweet find of mine.
Awesome , keep on keeping on.
Appreciate all the details in the video Daniel. There is allot to learn and I am 2 days behind ! lol
That is what I like about you. You would rather under grade than over grade. Sadly, there are a number of shops that do the exact opposite.
Very interesting to see so many Morgans at one time and especially the variations with a grade.
Thank you for this video. Very educational. I appreciate your honesty and trustworthiness. True Professional. Once L.E. always L.E....JackMaster
Excellent information and very interesting. I love Morgan dollars! Thank you Daniel
The Net grade on graded coins is basically the worst of the two sides. Since the grading companies do it, I think it's only fair to the dealer that they be able to do the same thing without getting complaints from every customer.
Great video !
Very interesting
And informative
Old Silver Dollars
Are beautiful
You can have a
Difficult job at times
Bless your patience….
Thanks! I appreciate this video not only for education but but most your integrity to the hobby and consumer.
I'm looking forward to seeing these up on the site !!
Thank you so much!!
Daniel, I'll take the entire lot for $1000, doubling your money! 😇
A good deal would be like $12000
The culls need to go in the melt bag. 10-15 k there for all 😂
Very nice collection of Morgans. Fun going through them.
Outstanding educational video. Thank you for sharing.
I have around 70 pre-1921 Morgan Silver Dollars that I have to get graded.
Nice accumulation of Morgans.
Thank you for another great video. I learned a lot about grading Morgan's from this ..
Best place for coin info!
Dear Sir , Register for free. Now your talking...
THANK YOU ! I should be registering that this evening.
I don’t covet you’re job but I envy…sometimes I bounce in between. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do, for the community at large! Lots of coins out there folks to be had, study up!
Love the history of those old Morgans.
Yeah, I actually would like to do that.
Very excellent lot!
Fun video. I appreciate the videos on grading. I have a bunch of grading questions.
You made a very good point about grading vf coins.I have found the vf grade to offer increased difficulty across many coin types.
The coin shop I go to they will actually test me buy covering up graded coins. They have me write down the grade and then reveal the grade. Right now I am about 95 percent Accurate compared to last year when I was at 60 percent Accurate. Thanks for the Video
Nice!
Cool
Awesome Morgan stack 👍🥈
I would think applying an obverse reverse dual grade would be the solution on many of those coins.😊Thankyou for the video Daniel.😊
I bet this is the ideal time to be an LCS! Prices as high as they are, I bet you people are selling left and right in gold stores etc.
We make the same profit margin, volume is up a bit but we pay more, so we don't make much more.
With the AG grades, would you round up the grade, or round down if you were undecided?
That's a lot of coins and you said that was 1/3 of what you had? Wow!
I round down just to be safe but usually I am on spot with them, at least for my customer's taste.
Could coin grading by AI be the future(and a new grading system)? Consider having to do this painstakingly just once, and it is set?
You should send all of those culls to CAC grading so they can include them in their inventory 😊
Wow! How late ng did that take?
Sure have your work cut out for you. Weak strikes and all. It’s tough even for long time collectors. Thanks again.
Sounds fun, but exhausting.
As usual I didn't find one thing to disagree with. It goes without saying you know what you're doing. I enjoyed watching the gears turn in real time as you were scrutinizing them to make sure you got things right. Grading companies don't do this. 500 morgans is something they try to get done with before lunch. I like that you mentioned the need to build a database for the wear progression so we can define these grades more objectively. It reminded me of the picture Earle shares with the 2 classic comems both graded F-15 where one is clearly a full grade better... at least. I think for photograde sources (if their collection of photos is comprehensive ebough) they really ought to show the absolute minimum standard of the grade range as the example. So if your coin is any worse, even slightly, then you know it doesn't meet the mark. Because if your site's example for VF-20 is really VF-23 then you don't know if your VF-21 coin that you're comparing it with is actually worth the VF grade. You might think it's F-15. Obviously you'd need a huge library of photos to do this with. But it should get done.
It would convince me that grading companies offer something more than a labeled coin coffin. Because as of now, if I have to "buy the coin not the slab" and go over your work to make sure you did it right, and ultimately be the arbiter of the grade as I'm the one potentially forking over the dough for it, not them... then a TPG company's opinion is useless. Why would I pay for that?
I like the way you do things and how you come to your decisions. I agree with all the signs your looking for for certain grades. With a TPG you never know if you've got Larry Lazer Eyes that spots every scratch, or Mr. Magoo grading your coins. With someone like you, you know. And with you, the "no questions asked refund" is the grade guarantee. Thats better than anything else. I know you mentioned somewhere that you remember every coin you sell. That shows you stand by your product and know exactly what you're selling. A great lesson on both grading, and good honest business.
Thanks for your comment and kind words and all of your support! I appreciate it more than you know!
I can imagine one day the professional graders going up against the "computer" using AI grading like that Deep Blue chess game.
Even though I know the grade chart numbers..I never really put much thought into the #grades in-between. You've opened my eyes ..
Daniel ; Just wondering if your in Ohio.!? I hears you might be.!? 🤔
Yep
Akron, Ohio ( Lebron James ) Neighborhood. My German Side came from Ironton Ohio.
Seems very easy to me unless let date then they all go in cull bin no need to assign a grade to a cull dollar
i have a morgan dollar i want someone to look at
Take it to a dealer
@CoinHELPu good video
I'm disappointed seeing what you consider fine as a better grade than Good 10 Details as one of my Carson City looks better than the VF20 but oh well 😥
This doesn't make sense, VG10 is a lower grade than Fine12 and VF20 is a higher grade than both. I am confused by your comment.
@@CoinHELPu all good and no worries it really wasn't a question more of a comment and just woke up turned in you tube and your post came up first 🥇 I enjoy watching your vids brother
