Hi .. I'm newbie on coin I don't have an idea yet, Thanks God I come across your videos I been watching them and I want to thank you for your well detailed informations please guide me through. I have lots of Lincoln Pennies from 1919 to 2001 ( just found in my mom's drawer) and the 1983D but don't know how to start selling because I'm from Manila Philippines. Will be waiting for your reply. Your kind gesture is highly appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.
I love the way you explain all coins. I’m 65 years old and I kept my boring retirement busy looking for coins. Thank you very much for your help. If I would have known about collecting coins, I would have started when I was in my teens. Now I’m teaching my grandson. Again thank you, Daniel.
Attention to Ms Rachel Benavides that’s very cute from you teaching your grandson because that’s my plan I have , I told my daughter i will leave my collection to my grandson I teach him the value of old and new coins , the errors etc… definitely is beautiful having this hobbie I just can’t get enough!! Love it, and it lift me up watching my coin collection and watching videos! Thanks
Daniel, Your a great teacher ! I’m so glad that there are great people like you still out there in the coin collecting community. Thank you so much for being you !😊 Very much appreciated.
Hey Daniel this is the old grand dad here . I just wanted to say thanks for all of your help. Ive seen video after video on coins . But you my friend have showed me the most. Heck I even joined PCGS. I only had enough money to become a silver member at the time. But anyway, I have learned that I am a total dummy when it comes to coins of any sort. But thank the Lord for U tube and google and yourself. I can learn anything I want to at my own pace. And I am coming right along. THANKS !!! !!!! Grandpa Blue Barry

Thank you so very much for this channel and your dedication to it over the last year +. I have ADHD and although I read very well it is hard for me to learn that way. Your videos are such a God send with helping me learn about this new hobby. I was getting so bogged down trying to read about coins. Thank you, Daniel.
here's an interesting anecdote. in 1972 i was 13 and was able to search through 5000+ cents accumulated household change from early 60's to present. i found 3 wheats. the vast majority were 64-D, 65 & 66. 8-10 rolls of bu 1968-D. and from 69-72 the totals declined. this was in Salt Lake City. by the way, slc is loaded with 1980's D varieties! they are in almost every roll i get.
Thank you! That was extremely helpful and informative. I start going through my pennies and I always forget or get confused. So now I wrote this down in my notebook and have save the video for reference. I finally separated my coins into years. 60-70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. So now I can go through and look for some treasures. 💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This came up in my feed at a very opportune time! I am going through pennies kept at my Mom's house (who is almost 80) for as long as i can remember! There are a ton of them, but this is a quick overview of what I should be looking for. Thank you!
I really liked about the cents and will get my grandkids on it know. They been saving 1982 and lower for years..copper..these will start a new era for us..thank you dan.🇺🇸

Just removed a ton of coins from flips and binders- two ziplock bags right to the bank. Thanks for the help. I was not going to try to sell these to make a few cents. Just not worth it for me. And yes I checked all the coins, one by one. I am sure I might had missed one or two of these special coins. 😂

At 3:, the slabbed NO FG 1969-D...despite saying there has to be no trace of the FG, pause the screen and look closely - you see the (ghosted from die polishing) FG! This is a pet peave of mine with grading companies. The 1972-D half with no FG was made from a die where there was no FG engraved. The same with the 1982-P half. Yet you can find many slabbed coins (even by the market-valuyed-more PCGS company) where the FG is visible simply by tilting the coin to the light. The FG initials get polished off of dies as the dies age. In fact just about any date can be found "without" the FG from the dies being polished. Yet under the right lighting and tilting the coin, the FG is visible. The grading companies should know a legit no FG 1982-P half. Its simple to tell. The 1 in the date will have no serif at its base. Yet PCGS and others still will slab, as being no FG, coins with a serif on the 1. They mistake polishing of a die with a die that was not engraved with the initials. You don't necessarily get what you pay for with the companies people are led to believe are THE experts in coins.
Plus PCGS wants a piece of your AUCTION earnings too! So they make you JOIN their Highway Robbery Club and sign away a fat percentage if your valued coin(s) can fetch BIG BUCKS once it's slabbed in plastic... Of course, that's USERY in the 3rd degree to the 10th Power! 🤦♂️👎 O' foolish little children, if you only knew how to sell your coins RAW online 🧐
The problem, I think, is not a lack of expertise on the part of the grader, but the production quotas they operate under. They typically spend less than a minute on each coin they grade during a working day. This allows each grader to theoretically grade 480 coins per work day. Given the huge numbers of submissions received by the grading companies they don’t have much patience with graders who are slow. I think this emphasis on grinding through the submissions as rapidly as possible accounts for these types of stupid mistakes.
Thanks for showing detailed images. It's nice to have something to compare our coins to. I saved this video for reference in the future. I'm sure it'll come in handy for a good while.

I suggest you buy some books and stop relying on people to teach you everything. I can’t cater to every level in my videos and if you do as I recommend then you will think I was too basic in this video, one day.
Hi, I'm new to this but I enjoy it immensely! I just wanted to say thank you watching your channel has helped me tremendously with trying to sort out everything because it can become quite confusing at times!!!
New to this and loving it! Many thanks for the detailed descriptions and your easy to follow instructions as to how to determine whether a coin is the one being highlighted. I'm genuinely intrigued by this new world of numismatics and I can't imagine I will ever stop learning something new! Much appreciation. May you and yours be found happy, healthy and in good spirit.
I really appreciate the way you present your information. You don't dance around scream and hollar. Thank you! Your information content is very helpful. Is it possible to have the exact same markers on the 1972 D? I followed along your video and it seems as if I do.
I just inherited pennies from my dad who started collecting them from the 1950’s… I was going or go to a coin show here in SE Idaho next month to see if any have value. Any suggestions before going?
I really like the way you explain everything which makes I'm pretty sure everybody understand, I have a handful of errors that you pointed out thank you for your info
I know this is off subject but could you let me know if you have seen this before. I have two. Should I have them graded? 1974 D with head stamped above the date
I have a penny with D mint mark with another D below the first D connected, the L is not an L ,other D mark is on torso in several locations. Other doubling marks also
Hey this is Greg from Evansville I appreciate your videos they've been a big help and I agree people that got nothing good to say they must have other issues appreciate your work
I have 5 lb of wheat pennies to go through but I do have a challenge as to what I'm supposed to be looking for in the wheat pennies so I have to read up on them.
I have 1974 both but haven't weighed to see if they are plated..and you definitely educate very well....great feeling isn't it! I do have more questions when you get time, please n thank you

As a beginner, I have no idea what half the things you are saying mean. If you want to be beginner friendly, I suggest you explain it better
I suggest you buy some books and stop relying on people to teach you everything. I can’t cater to every level in my videos and if you do as I recommend then you will think I was too basic in this video, one day.
