    I make a tiramisu not with ladies fingers, but with a pound cake I made stale , and coffee flavored liquids and the rest of the traditional ingredients 👌👌👌👌

    Mine is different I use heavy cream comes out more fluffy. Also I add more vanilla extract in the espresso with a teaspoon of lime and Marsala wine.

    People forget how hard it was to live not too long ago, with no work, no money, no hope, people had to use their imagination to scrape together food to eat, not like today;
    Everything is there for you to make by in the store.
    People used to make things by their own hands if they wanted to eat.

      Jonh Cipriano, yes but it was a beautiful time back then because your mother family and friends would teach you how to make delicious wonderful food, I was very blessed at a very young age to learn how to cook and bake, that is why I love watching Orsara recipes because we cook the same wonderful foods like Pasquale, he is most definently a Male version of me and just love his videos and it is so wonderful that he teaches and show all his young and elder viewers how to cook amazing delicious Italian recipes

      John I’ve often made tiramisu with cream cheese because mascarpone is expensive where I live too. It’s actually delicious, just be sure it’s at room temperature and mix it before adding to the eggs.

    May be best to pasteurize the eggs in a sous vide if one is concerned about salmonella or raw egg consumption.

    This is the first video i will have to disagree with.
    You need to leave the lady fingers in there a little longer. Not too long but not as quick as you were doing it. The cake needs to melt in your mouth.

      After letting it sit overnight, every bite melts in your mouth without being very soggy. The egg and cheese mix melts into the top layers of the ladyfingers softening them up. 😋 Salute

      I was thinking the same thing..... you gotta cook those eggs. Usually a bain marie. Uncooked egg yolks are the dangerous part.

      zeroyon223 yeah Americans put them in the fridge because we wash the exterior which is the protective layer. While the chance might be low it’s still a possibility. Either way an actual pastry cream whipped with mascarpone would be even richer and creamier.
