Thanks, smooth teaching, nice pace, and clarity. each step. by step. I enjoy how you explain thing, all the info is stated and the timing is great to follow!
is there a way to do this with just the shirt? Like if i were to import a 3D model into blender like a jacket what would be the process for just applying physics to that 3d model only
This looks really good. Why don't games use this kind of cloth simulation (in most games the clothes seem to be attached to the character)? Is it too taxing on the hardware if it is for a game?
And if I have size of the t-short and lines of where it is connected, is it possible to somehow create it in blender and try to put it on how you did it? can you advice maybe some resources or what to google?

Appreciate your comment!
i like the jelly effect on the shirt :D
Excellent Tutorial! Just what I needed to know.
Very useful tutorial. Thanks bro.
u can use alt+s for better scaling the shirt
Instead of scalling the shirt, wont you get a better even thinkness if you just aply the thickness modifier? When applied just remove the inner faces.

Great tutorial, thank you! And a nice voice to boot
I saw what you did there with the choice of colors.
:)
I didn’t, EXPLAIN THIS!
@@Kilkko Ukrainian flag colors.
Awesome tutorial
Glad you liked it!
6:11 Figure still passes right through the shirt. Done here.
Thanks
Thank you but the fabric does not touch the skin. How to reduce the space between the skin and the skin?
Collision Distance ~ 0.001
I'm a beginner, could you provide a model of the object to help me ?
Your teaching method is wonderful !
ihav watch alot of vedios ur the best
Hi - I know this is an older video, but would this help with getting long kimono like sleeves to fall down a raised arm? Thanks :-)

Well as you can see in the video the simulation was not able to run very well in real time, which is why it was rendered out (baked)
Great ❤
hi can you tell me how to prevent my clothes from just falling off? i parented but the robes just go down and down....

Ppreciate the video bro! Also, are you South African?
No probs! Yup I'm from Cape Town!
Great man! can i exportate all these features to unreal engine?
I think you can export the cloth animation as an Alembic (.abc) or a USD file. I haven’t tried yet but should be possible.
can you please tell me why my mirrored object not taking ctrl+J. is there a tutorial for that. i have already subscribed.
Be sure u applied the mirror modifier
🔥
If I do this on a cloth for a game character, then export it to the game, will it have those physics inside the game?
Yes if you bake the cloth animation it should work.
@@Ruan3D I tried it but the cloth tears apart in pieces and it falls flat on the ground. It's a bra
my physics seems to go up and down but it doesnt have lateral movement for some reason...
why my cloth breaks when i play animation?
Make sure the cloth does not intersect your model at all, also play with the cloth settings, like the bending parameters etc. Good luck!
Hey is it possible to automate this workflow using python blender api?
could be used to put in unreal engine?.
How to get body mesh
To model it 😁
Hey how would I do the opposite?
Clothes fly off?
Here's a reference, reaction to a punch.
