This video is so great and showed me a lot of tools I didn’t know like the wrinkles , just wanted to mention that instead of making a seperate object for the curve at 8:43, you could select the edge on the inside of the jacket, duplicate it, seperate it, and then convert it to curve. So it’s already lined up for the array.
Wow, I just started modeling the character Gambit from Marvel, and this video is EXACTYL what I needed! I have never modeled clothing, so this video is a life saver!
usefull tip get the base garments from connect closet shop for marvelius designer, do a patch topology , bring it here so you dont have to model itlike the first stage of video, you can start with a base garment
Thanks for a great tutorial. I had to pause it a lot to get the settings the same in my system, but well worth watching. One thing is killing me though... no matter how hard I try, even with the settings exactly the same as yours, I cannot get the crease brush (or other brushes you are using for details) to work at all. They don't do anything on my mesh. What could I be doing wrong? Please???
@@pootzmagootz idk why but it was there the first time i just forgot to click it, but then i deleted my progress cuz i was just testing it following along, and when i tried again that option was gone. all i did was select all and delete, no other buttons were pressed i swear...
How can I animate this clothes on my 3D human model? When I will move connected bones with my human model, do things move? Do I need to connect clothes with my human model?
Please make a video on if its possible to texture pain on the clothes. ..like adding shadows anime style on the folds ....or maybe make a video on making anime clothes?...that would be helpful..Thanks
By "anime-style shadows", do you mean cel-shading? If so, that's more of a Grease Paint thing but you can do something like it in the main Blender pipeline by manipulating nodes (shader to RGB > Colour ramp, chiefly). Search "cel-shading in Blender" or "toon shading in Blender": there are lots of videos on UA-cam about this.
Hey thanks a lot for this tutorial! But just to confirm: this is a 'static' cloth mesh right? The cloth won't move in simulation or animation? I'm guessing for that we need to do some weight painting etc.
It will move if you do the proper steps for it, this is very high poly so you'd retopo, bake details, rig it, weight paint etc. But those are all a feat of their own.
I am disappointed. I purchased this video on gumroad only to find out that you are not voicing in your tutorial. It is difficult to follow your steps even when the video is slowed down. I signed up for a now cancelled paid membership and its not clearly shown how to get a hold of your discord channel. I don't know why people are claiming that they are learning anything.
Sorry to hear that, voicing a 4-5 hour tutorial is really hard and time consuming and it obviously would cost more than $20-30 not under $10, i tried to get in touch with you on patreon but u didn't answer, if you feel like you didn't learn anything i think it still would be possible to refund the money back to you, but i appreciate it if you remove the rating you give to the product :)
You present the video with an example of someone who does not know how to sculpt wrinkles, or as if sculpting wrinkles as always was a waste of time. Too bad for that, just to get visits. You don't have to change one thing for another, you must combine both, Your way of showing digital sculpture is very bad.

this is why i love blender, there are so many tutorials out there, and some of them are as valuable as this one ! bless you dude
Exactly.
you're welcome bro.
Watching this, I want to basically redo ALL the clothes I did for a character of mine recently. This looks gorgeous!
Don't regret anything, everything's a practice
@@PixelicaCG bro when i apply the mirror the entire left side gets deformed and doesn't appear how it should be, how to avoid that
I searched for a long time 🥰 and finally found the explanation I was looking for... away from the trivial explanations of Lee Cloths ❤️
Excellent video, instant sub! 👏
i feel like a god with this knowledge now

This is the best clothing tutorial ive seen in years of searching. Thank you very much
literal magic, I love your channel, dude. thank you for your hard work!
I love this. Please make more sculpting clothes videos. Looking forward to the texturing video. And more simulation videos.

You are indeed an artist
Loveeddd it broo ❤️
Great tutorial !
This is just what i've needed! Thank You
Me realising now after almost 2 years working with blender that I can activate vertex and face selection at the same time.
YOU CAN HUH!?
I was like, naniiii😭😭😭😭😭
Oooh right!
I kicked that habit and forgot about that!
Good reminder

Can we all just take a minute to acknowledge that Pixelica's hair is always on fleek?
Nice tips, thank you.
It’d be more helpful to go over the quad draw functions and explaining your retypo techniques
amazing tutorial

1:34 mine doesnt stick to the body like that... the polys dont stay flush with the body like yours do, im stuck
Make sure you have "face project" on your snapping tool

Search for "blender cavity texture". There is Video about a Asian statue. This will help you

you don't have to model the small details, it just takes more processing, just make the small things by using textures and normals.
ok man? but how do i connect the faces like u doing in retopology?
Does the realistic clothing work with animations. Because sometimes id create somewhat realistic clothing but they look odd in poses
Just curious do you make your own Shoes?
How you rotated the view? Sometimes I needed this but didn't knew it is possible :)
if you hold Alt and rotate the camera with middle mouse it stucks to the angle (like left right top bottom etc)
Excellent. Don't edit everything as one long fast sentence. It's very hard to absorb one step before you've blasted on to two more.
why didnt my plane stay highlighted like yours in edit mode? and I don't have mesh edit overlay settings on mine either :/
which version do you use?
Bro u have gud skills, but why narration is so fast 😢, unable to follow 😢.
Muy bien contenido, gracias, pero más despacio
gud shet
I search the image jpeg, impossible to have this. Possible ta have a link ? thank's a lot
How about making a traditional Indian sherwani?
Why they make the add on free if you want to use it you have to pay for it. Free version only allows 1 layer which destroys the whole reason of addson
Are you sure? last time i was using the free version there wasn't any limit on layers.
@@PixelicaCG it says only one layer on free version i couldnt create more then one layer
EASILY
just use proxy mesh 😂
