I just started using Blend a couple of months ago for a vanity project that I'm working on. You literally had me sitting on the edge of my chair leaning in saying, "THAT'S SO COOL!" The tutorial is fantastic and easy to follow. It makes it seem like even I can do it. 😁
I really am amazed by how quickly you can put something together that looks so good. I really appreciate you sharing with us.
thank you very much 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Another tip: on the colission for the character there is an inner and outer setting. Change both to smaller numbers (like 0.001) and the cloth is closer to the body so your char doesn't look so beefy. But watch out that your char doesn't clip through your clothing.
Set the collision on the body and the inner and outer collision on the robe and set the sewing to above 10. This tip helped.
ty so much
Really clear, and to the point. thanks for this.
With the help of this video, I've managed to create an "ok" robe. The only issue I seem to have is that the sleeves, well, for some reason, don't have the arms in them. :D Take 2!
This has been a great guide, not only for the robe, but also for just how to edit using Blender. Thanks again.
IT'S NOT A DRESS... IT'S A ROBE!
Awesome collection of vids and tutorials! Really well paced, clearly explained and perfect for my noob status yet overambitious goals 😅 looking forward to learning more from you 😊
It's 100% a dress not a rope
thankkk you very much for this amazing video
everything has come from you is amazing
I'm under the impression that this guy owns a robe.
Thanks man, this tutorial helped me to make my character clothing more better than my skills!
glad it's not a dress. that was a close one
Great tutorial, thanks!
My Cloth just explode
i laughed when i first read your comment .... until mine did too
My cloth imploded
@@vickylau4981🤣🤣🤣
@@personpeople2838titan 💀
same my cloth was troble
I followed every step. when I hit play my cloth just exploded and only at frame 250 it turned into a robe, but it looks terrible. The cloth isn't moving passed frame 250 and it looked wrinkly af with a bunch of holes😭 help! Why did that happen?
Wait I just fixed it! In Physics > Cloth> Physics properties > Bending model and selected Linear instead of Angular.
Thats awesome! I guss you coukd apply this for a hood also?
Can you get it to move like a thicker cloth like wool?
Fantastic! How can you adjust the strength of the cloth? I want it to react that way but a little heavier
Nioce! So you can import characters that are rigged ? Awesome
Thank you for this!
Excellent tutorial! ty :D
when i apply scale the model teleports away from where it was and when i play the animation it just zips across the screen
Thanks for the video. I tried to export the character+cloth into Lens Studio Ar but for some reason the cloth only show one side in the AR. Wondering if there's any setting involved.
The edges are not closed around the seams
is this possible to use on a game engine?
The robe just tears apart in the middle here: 8:30
You can delete the mirror modifier then select the whole ½ mesh and symmetrize it. Do check the X axis when do so tho
pretty nice!
Used this to make a ghost face robe lol
I also have to constantly remind people that I'm wearing a robe not a dress when I go out.
Just to be clear this is a ROBE. A robe. This is not a dress.
Lol thanks for the help, mate.
thank u very much
Cool
Hello, if the clothes accumulate in the center of the original plane and ignore other objects what can i do?
Could we export it to Unity and the physics of the cloth will export as well?
Onelovemuchlove believe 🙏
Can i use this to sew clothes onto a character and then just add a bit with physics to save on performance
I want the version of blender this guy has..
My sleeves roll up. Do you know why this could happen?
Collisions are too high or the sewing strength is too low
mantap bang
I was wondering what if you have some parts of the clothing that are stiff like a collar?
my guess would be to not apply any of the effects from the video for that
My cloth sim doesnt work properly its super jittery
Where can i find the mannequin?
Mixamo
will it work if i export it to UE5?
Hi can you help me, my blender software is turning off (not shutdown) when i put in rendered view pls help!
Hello great tut however i cant seem to get my character into a t pose i followed step by step i.e alt- g alt-r alt-s any suggestions
i got sorry
i got it
nope for some reason alt r and alt s wont work
@@oneroad2930 had problems with the hot keys too. Got it to work by selecting armature switching to pose mode pose menu -> clear transforms clearing the rotation got the T-pose.
Thank you soo much@@Paul_nutfrom80s
Hey the discord link won’t work i wanna join
my mesh lags and goes through
Now do a satchel (not a purse)
comentário numero 32, para engajar.
Is there any way that I delete the character and use cloth as 3d model only ??
you can hide the character in the viewport and the render
too fast for the tutorial :)
My cloth cringes..
