Hey there, I’m about to rgh my phat console. Do you have all the links for the required items I’ll need to successfully complete the rgh? If not is there a website where somebody posted everything that is needed? Thank you
@@hardcoregamer685 Yes, all of my consoles have had instant boot times. I’m not saying that my way is the best way, this channel is just documenting my progress.
after pulling my hair out on my first rgh i decided to scrap the resistor and low and behold it worked. After having a solder break free i tried the resistor again. It didn't work. Took it back off and wahhlaa! About to do my second one as a xmas gift so i'm glad i saw this before i went and bought them again. @@hardcoregamer685
@@dannisaurousful you can't do a job without the proper tools. Flux isn't expensive, but replacing your console is however if you break it because your work was done incorrectly.
Followed this tutorial and had my old falcon rgh'd in 40 minutes! Is it possible to rgh 3 slim consoles (specifically a trinity) without the diode and resistor?
I tried to rgh 3.0 my jasper did everything right because I rgh slims with this method. The jasper red ringed. I’ll have to try with the falcon I have but has the Kinect dashboard
@@TheModSmith I didn’t have small wires at the time I did it. Used wire from a Ethernet cable but only smallest wire I had. I’ll see if I can get this other one to work and look over my work
I have a 360 Xenon, first gen. Had to recap it because of the infamous capacitor plague. Console runs fine now but I'd like to glitch chip it and make use of it again. Any guides abuot pinout? Recommended glitch chip? Thank you in advance
You’ll need to perform an Ext_CLK using a Matrix Glitcher modchip, here is a good guide: www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/updated-guide-for-xenon-rgh-with-ext_clk.1835219/

This is the only place I’ve seen RGH3 install without resistor. I now sucessfully did this on my 14 year old Jasper. Great tutorial, thanks a lot!
That tiny point was the hardest solder in my life, so many components all other 😅 thank you for that tuto !
Almost ripped a Via from the motherboard......... lucky for me the flux did the job and the hack was perfect!
thanks so much!

Have you had good success rate without using the diode and resistor? First time I’ve seen an install without it on a Phat console.
I’ve never had any issues at all without them and have done well over 50 RGH3 PHAT consoles.
@@TheModSmith Do you find that the consoles instant boot?

@@TheModSmith That's great. I was interested as I had never seen it done like this before.

It works without a resistor, but isn’t particularly recommended. Glad the tutorial helped!
@@TheModSmith Awesome. Thanks for the info and reply!

The odds are that you probably didn’t do everything right if it red ringed, make a post on the r/360hack subreddit and post pictures of your wiring.

Can you please make a method that doesn’t require you to take off the shell
This isn’t possible currently, and definitely not something that I’ll be figuring out.

Would you ever sell them? I just bought one from eBay but am not sure if he is scamming me or not…
I do send-ins mostly, but occasionally stick a pre-modded console on eBay.

And you would recommend rgh3 over the rgh1.2 for this?
I always try RGH3 first, and if it doesn’t boot then I do 1.2.
1.2 is recommended over 3 for phat consoles. 3 is not 100% stable
