@scottcromwell3387 My neighbor, he’s about 40, told me he hates LZ. I still can’t wrap my head around that one. There’s something fundamentally wrong with him.
I saw them in concert in 1969 when I was 16 years old. Robert Plant was the hottest thing to ever walk. Now he's just old like me, but I can hear this song, and I'm 16 again and he's just as hot as ever. Memories don't age no matter what happens to your body.
Very well said. I was 22 in 1969. He might not still be hot, but he is still a presence onstage. Saw him last August with Krauss. When he’s onstage it’s hard to look at anyone else….still
Oh, yeah. Robert Plant was hot! And at 18yrs old, so was I! Lol!! I saw them in concert about 6 or 7 times and each time I tried to get as close to the stage as I could, hoping that he would notice me! Lol! Now at 72yrs old I have lots of memories. And the Led Zeppelin's music still lives on and will most likely continue after I'm long gone!
I was 18 years old when their first album dropped in 1969. It blew my mind and the whole generations mind and every generation sense. If you go down the Led Zeppelin rabbit hole you're in for a ride. Peace ✌️

I appreciate how you did your reaction. I've watched others and feel they stop the songs too much to give reaction instead of listening to the whole song then giving reaction. Listen to the whole song before you react. That way you have a better feel for the songs essence. Keep it up and enjoy the rock world many groups to choose from.

@@helenespaulding7562 Thank you! I looked into this further and he played the recorder (3 actually, the bass, tenor & sprano) which is a wind instrument similar to the flute. I think articles written interchanged between calling it a flute & recorder. :) In live performances he used a mellotron for his bass & recorder parts. Originally I too thought it was a keyboard. We learned something new. 👍
@@Asti.sayAhstee we did! I never knew he played any instrument that required blowing! 😏😉 I do know the recorder. Even made one at summer camp. Hah! A new Zep fact! It’s a good thing to know that there’s always more to learn, even for someone like myself who’s listened to every interview I can find plus books. I’m a real Led-head for sure. Thanks!
There were three other very influential bands that came from England back in the late 60s. They are Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, and you could spend the next year or so just reacting to them, along with Led Zeppelin. Band members- Robert Plant, vocals and harmonica. Jimmy Page, guitar. John Bonham, drums. John Paul Jones, bass, keyboards, mandolin...whatever needed doing, basically. Individually, they were all very talented. Together, they were magic, much more than the sum of their parts.
I subscribed for Queen and now I am ready for the rabbit hole of Led Zeppelin. My two favorite bands. Zep will always surprise you and I can't wait for the ride, Thanks for the reaction!
You HAVE to watch their live video of the Immigrant Song. It's GREAT. Whenever I'm having a bad day I put my headset on and blast it into my soul. I know you'll enjoy it. Led Zeppelin is the best. Subscribed.

Welcome to the rabbit hole. I have been a fan for decades I never get tired of listening to the music of the 70s. Led Zeppelin is still the best rock ‘n’ roll band of the 70’s🥰
Great reaction -Its entirely predictable what you are going to be doing for the next six months. I am all for the album 1 track 1 method otherwise you will miss great songs- they did not release singles because they did not want t be defined by a couple of famous songs- so the albums are good all the away through. They released two albums in 1969, led zep 1 is widely regarded as one of the best first albums ever. Robert Plant was 19 when they formed - he doesn't do shy. Jimmy page is founding member and producer as well as guitarist. John Bonham and John Paul Jones are also icons and the combination of the four together is magical. Make sure you check out some of the live performances as well as the studio recordings.

The amazing vocals are by Robert Plant, guitar by Jimmy Page, drums by great John (Bonzo) Bonham, and keyboards and guitar by John Paul Jones. That " zooming" noise you hear from left to right is the guitar being played by a violin bow. This band is second to none.
I am glad you have enjoyed one of the greatest bands ever. On lead guitar, Jimmy Page drums John Bonham, on bass guitar and piano John Paul Jones and vocals and harmonica, Robert Plant. They display musicianship of exceptional quality. 🎻🎸🎤🥁
Great reaction! It's always fun to watch someone reacting to The Mighty Zep.. The greatest band of all-time! I agree with the idea of starting with Zep 1 and working your way through their catalog. It's an amazing experience, and you'll be able to see why they're the Goats. Enjoy the ride
Well, the algo brought me here because of Zeppelin and I see you’ve been sampling rock for about a month, with a good, solid base with Queen. You’ve got so much great music to look forward to! The British Invasion was truly an amazing time in popular music and culture. Yes, we had great American bands, but the Titans that strode the world at the pinnacle were Brits for a good long while; The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Queen…. And that’s just the monster groups from the 60’s and 70’s…there were many more from late 70’s through 80’s…Def Leppard, Dire Straits….. oh hell. Just too many. Youve got years of wonderful ear candy yo look forward to. Enjoy your journey and welcome to the world of rock! 🤘

Check out Greta Van Fleet!!! Especially one of their first videos where the lead singer was performing and also dressed like a typical “rocker.” He was compared to Robert Plants voice!
