Welcome to the best rock band ever. I cannot name a favorite song. My favorite is what I’m listening to now. There are not even a handful of Zeppelin songs I don’t care much for. The vast majority of their work is excellent! If you like blues, try “You Shook Me” or “Since I’ve Been Loving You”. If you like rock, try “Heartbreaker” or “Black Dog”, or “The Wanton Song”. I could go on and on, but you’ve got to start somewhere l Ideally, the first song on the first album, and work your way through all of their music.
That is the almighty Robert Plant right there!! My favorite voice of all time 🤩🙌 You should check out their song "Immigrant Song" (the official studio version first and then the live version) to hear some epic vocals, as well as "Since I've Been Loving You" Live at Madison Square Garden!
since ive been loving you bbc sessions kills the madison square garden version. Plant's vocals were still intact in early 71,and he killed it in the bbc sessions version
My life was LZ from when I was 16 onwards.. seriously the 70s were an absolute amazing time in music history..im speaking from the time in my country..🇬🇧 The UK. The massive mix of genres were mind-blowing!! Great reaction ☮️💓🇬🇧
AFTER listening to the studio tracks. Even LZ would agree. They did too much improv and took too many liberties with the songs when they played live. They've said themselves that they did this (minus the "too much/many", of course) - which is fine, but not for a first time listener.
Best facial reaction to hearing Robert Plant’s singing. John Paul Jones on bass, John Bonham on drums and Jimmy Page on Guitar, are all amazing individually. But together are something very special Kashmir The Lemon Song Dazed and Confused (my fav) and if you like drums; Moby Dick I would have told you about Led Zep before but didn’t know you existed
I've watched over a dozen reactions to Whole Lotta Love. Everyone is stunned. I can't imagine listening to a 50 year old song in 1968 and loving it that much. The '60s are the benchmark for music.
They hardly have a bad song in their entire catalogue. Most are brilliant and half of them are bona fide masterpieces! It's hard to pick just one. Most people's favourite Zeppelin track is the last one they listened to. They're that good. :) They're the second biggest group in history! Only The Beatles are bigger. They are THE rock gods! In terms of innovation and influence they're almost unmatched! They're the most sampled band in history, were incredible live and all 4 members are leading candidates for the title of GOAT, on their particular instrument/s. All their albums, except their first, went to number 1 in the UK, the US and all over the World! They formed in London in the late 60s and continued until 1980, when their drummer, the great John Bonham, died. They decided to disband at that point. Although they did re-unite for Live Aid and for a one-off reunion and farewell concert, in London in 2007. The drummer for that concert was John Bonham's son! Over 20 million applied for tickets on the first day of release and the great and good of the music World flew in, from all over the planet to witness it. tl/dr Led Zeppelin are true giants, not only of modern popular music but of music generally! :)
Great reaction, thanks. Really enjoyed it. Whole Lotta Love, one of my favorites, is the first track on their second album, and was recorded and dropped in 1969. Led Zeppelin was composed of four of the most talented musicians out there, and they changed the world of rock music forever. Many bands have tried to replicate their "magic" but none have succeeded in capturing it. Best rock band in history. The band formed in 1968, disbanding in 1980 after the unexpected death of their drummer, and was comprised of: Jimmy Page - guitar/producer/band founder Robert Plant - vocals/lyricist/harmonica John Paul Jones - bass/keys/multi-instrumentalist John Bonham - drummer As for making song recommendations, that's difficult. They didn't have just "one sound" so some types of songs you might like better than others. Stairway to Heaven (folk/progressive/hard rock) is widely considered to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Other notable songs in the *folk rock and/or progressive rock* vein include: Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (folk rock) Ramble On (folk/blues rock) The Rain song (progressive rock) No Quarter (blues/progressive rock) Kashmir (progressive/hard rock) For *blues-rock* : You Shook Me I Can't Quit You Baby How Many More Times The Lemon Song Bring it On Home When the Levee Breaks Nobody's Fault but Mine Since I've Been Loving You For more *hard rock and/or metal* : Dazed and Confused Immigrant Song Black Dog Rock and Roll Achilles Last Stand For more of a *funky and/or proto-funk* vibe: Communication Breakdown Celebration Day Trampled Under Foot But that's just a sampling. So many other great songs in their catalogue. As someone else already mentioned, the best way to dive into Zeppelin is just to start with track 1 of album 1 and keep on going. There are a lot of "hidden gems" that don't always get recommended, so you'll be able to discover those for yourself. I do recommend listening to studio versions first, then a live version of any songs you'd like to see performed if you can find good video. Jimmy Page was a genius in the studio, but keep in mind that there was no computer-generated anything or auto tune back then. What you hear is all them. They were incredible live as well so you'll get the best of both worlds. Anyway, apologies for such a long comment, and thanks again for posting your reaction.
@@bobbiedwards6693 Well, it didn't seem to make much difference since he only reacted to three LZ songs about a year ago and none since. I thought he was serious but guess not. 😂
One band to rule them all... I'm sure you've heard them before just didn't know it. Zeppelin has been sampled by many rap artists, so much so that their DNA is spread throughout the rap universe.
Gives a whole new MEANING to those Led Zeppelin tee shirts lol Page playing the bow on his guitar was a psychedelic sound (my opinion) he’d use after taking a hit of acid; popular in the day.
There is no best Led Zeppelin song. They’re ALL fantastic! You’ll really learn a lot about rock and roll by listening to all their music, and reading the comments. Your audience will take you places you never dreamed of! 👍
in my teens 1977 on,played the live version from Song Remains...over and over..poor neighbours...then my son did same in 2000s ! Same neighbours, then almost 80!
Thanks for pulling the Led out. 🙌🏼 Been listening to Led Zep for years and still can’t choose a fav. Recommend; DAZED AND CONFUSED WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS Live version of THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME / THE RAIN SONG (Back to back a must, live at Madison Sauare Gardens!!! Welcome to earth, this song is 50 , yes fifty years old. I love your reaction, out of the other 104 songs they released its hard to pick a favorite. When the levee breaks and Kashmir are a good start.
So fun to see you REALLY ABSOLUTE Blown AWAY. 1968 -1970. Robert Plant is singing. Jimmy Page - Best Guitarist ever on top of every list, awards. Look 'em up on line --- So Much so much !! I'm 75, heard it first on stereo headphones in L.A. age 19...I still hear the Wayyyy down in siiide....woman...you need....LOOoooove goin' round and round INSIDE my HEAD!. Best of all the great bands (there were many) of the 70's. I think maybe the people giving you requests just didn't have Zepplin in their experience. Welcome! WHAT a Kick watching you !!!
All four members are great in their art.. Lead Vocals Robert Plant Lead Guitar Jimmy Page Bassist/Keyboard John Paul Jones and (Phenomenal)Drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham... you will not regret digging into Led Zeppelin.. they are my all time favorite band!! Nothing like some Led Zeppelin, your honey and some good ganja and/or LSD/mushrooms!! Back in the day!!
Greatest band of ALL time. Fun fact when they came out with this they were in their 20’s!! Just incredible talent. When these guys got together it was lightning in a bottle!! Welcome to the party!! You must work your way through their catalog you won’t regret it.
Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page is the guitarist Robert Plant is the singer John Paul Jones is the bassist and keyboards John Bonham is the drummer. Best band ever. Try some of their songs, Dazed and Confused, Since I've been loving you, Kashmir, The Lemon song, Babe, I'm gonna leave you, and How many more times.
They are all GREAT...they are their own genre! Start at album one song one! It will be an experience of a life time! It will make you listen to music differently! My #1 changes all the time, it’s the one I just listened to. 70 years old, and they are as fresh as I heard them when I was 17 in 69. Dude check them out live...it will blow your socks off! They are even better live! If you could imagine that! The GOATS😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Don't stop at their 5th album "Houses of the Holy", go through all of them, which would include "Physical Graffiti", "Presence", and "In Theough the Out Door", then you may as well include Coda, but react to their first four albums in order, Led Zeppelin, LZ II, LZ III, and what's commonly referred to as LZ IV, you won't be disappointed
Immigrant song (you'll know it from the Thor movie), Kashmir, Ramble On, In my time of dying... Like, literally everything they made was gold. "Stairway to Heaven" is generally regarded as one of, if not THE, best rock song of all time.
I went to see Robert Plant on the 13th and 14th August at QueenElizabethTheatreinVancouver, BC! Robert Plant sounds amazing still and such a great guy!! Cost me alot but I paid for the Meet and Greet!! ❤😊
The only reason I can think of for no one to have suggested this before is because everyone likely assumed you'd already heard of them. Led Zeppelin is widely claimed as the band that established hard rock as a genre. They're one of those bands that almost any rock band of the 70s, 80s, or 90s would list as a musical influence. They only recorded together for maybe a decade and a half before John Bonham's death, and they are still as widely acclaimed as bands that have been recording stuff for three or four times as long. "Trailblazer" is a title often used in rock music, but few are as worthy of it as Zeppelin.
And that was 52 years ago. Maybe the best rock band in the world. And what a vocal performance. And bass, drums, guitars are all fantastic. My favorites from Led Zep are Immigrant song, When the Levee Breaks and Since I've Been Loving You
Zeppelin has such a huge catalog of great music. "Stairway to Heaven" is their most well-known song and is often voted as the #1 rock song of all-time. "Kashmir" is another amazing song as is "Dazed and Confused". One of their more under-the-radar favorites of mine is "Ten Years Gone". But you'll get dozens of other song recommendations because it's a deep rabbit hole and you won't regret diving down it.
The best Zeppelin song was the first song they released because it introduced them to the world. Start at album one, song one, and try finding a bad song on any album. You'll enjoy the journey.
The best led zeppelin song is the one you are listening to. They were prolific and quality throughout. Give stairway to heaven live msg 1973 a go to get an idea of them live and one song shows a lot of what they are about.
I bought their original albums when they were released, so I've loved them a long time. I met Robert Plant last summer. My inner 15- year old self was losing her mind. Absolute rock star still. 🤩
Singer - Robert Plant - awesome voice - one of the great voices of Rock up there with John Fogarty (CCR) and from my own country Brian Johnson and Bon Scott (AC/DC) and Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel and solo)
Stairway to Heaven is always a favorite. I'd recommend the studio version but you do you man. Whole Lotta Love is another, but they have a large body of work.
After you've checked out the many highly suggest and most famous Zeppelin songs try my three favourites - *Boogie With Stu* and *Bron-Y-Aur Stomp* and *Bring It on Home*
I was a first generatin Led Zep fan. Then there was a second generation of new fans. NOW, good sir, YOU are the third generation to enjoy the greatest rock n' roll band on the planet! 😁
Led Zeppelin was: Robert Plant: lead vocals Jimmy Page: Guitars John Paul Jones: bass and keyboards the late great John Bonham: Drums. Enjoy this rabbit hole. This song came out in the fall of 1969 and basically kicked the door open for a lot of hard rock that followed. Led Zeppelin was one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever and influenced a lot of music to follow. Their best-known song is "Stairway to Heaven" but really it's hard to choose a song or songs to react to. "Kashmir" is another one you should react to... "When the Levee Breaks," "Dazed and Confused," "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," "Black Dog," "Nobody's Fault but Mine," "Heartbreaker/Living, Loving Maid," "Immigrant Song...." That would be a good start.
I forwarded this video to all my 70’s friends 😂 Your reaction was SO adorable, honest & funny. Thank you, lil one, for reassuring that I grew up with the best band ever!! 😊 Peace ☮️ ✌️ Out
Best Led Zep song? Hard to pick a favourite....four amazing musicians, each of them masters of their own instrument. I love the bass (and the cheeky lyrics!) on The Lemon Song, the mellowness of The Rain Song, the Bluesey You Shook Me, and In My Time Of Dying (the humour, and Bonhams drums at the end)...
Since I've Been Loving You LIVE 1973 MSG, Kashmir Live 1979. Immigrant Song Live 1972, Black Dog and Over the Hills and Far Away - 1973 Live at MSG, Misty Mountain Hop. The Rain Song and Rambling on - studio versions . So many but these are awesome.
Unequaled, each and every one of them. Huge rabbit hole. Rock, Soul, Blues. That is the great Robert Plant. Nobody comes close.
That is the great Robbert Plant.Nobody can come close to Led.Legends.
Robert Plant. No.1 rock gods of the 70's!
The whole band!!

Since I've Been Loving You live at Madison Square Garden next
Stairway to heaven probably the best rock song ever
"Black Dog", "Stairway to Heaven", " Ramble on""
Robert Plant He is a skilled Bad Man.
Kashmir ,absolutely Kashmir
The greatest band of all time. A huge rabbit hole
Dont have a favorite of theirs. They are that good with many hits. Legends in RockNRoll.
Led Zepplin will never be ‘Old School’….will live on
Led Zeppelin was:
Robert Plant: lead vocals
Jimmy Page: Guitars
John Paul Jones: bass and keyboards
the late great John Bonham: Drums.
I forwarded this video to all my 70’s friends 😂
Your reaction was SO adorable, honest & funny. Thank you, lil one, for reassuring that I grew up with the best band ever!! 😊
Peace ☮️ ✌️ Out
Best Led Zep song?
'The LEMON SONG', 'Since I've been Loving You' and 'When the Levee Breaks' are all great Zeppelin tunes.
