I grew up in the 70s spending weekends seeing all these amazing live concerts for $10. We had the best music and the most talented musicians of any decade. Btw, I'm guessing this was circa 74
LED ZEPPELIN was the first concert I ever went to when I was 15 yrs old in 1978. You couldn't fit another person into the stadium when they played. It was fun!! Jon Bonham was one of the best drummers, ever. He died in 1980 at 32 yrs old (accidental death...such a tragedy).
I saw them in Houston Texas back in 1969. This is one of the songs they perform and it rocked the house. What a memory. Tickets were $6.00. Jimmy page the guitarist was in his teens at the times , and the drummer was phenomenal. Plant has an an amazing voice. Led Zeppelin was from England. Notice they are not using vulgar words, but more creative with their words. What a thrill.
zeppelin were trash. paige and bonham had talent but the facts are the facts and the fact is they stole almost every hit song they ever had. they've been sued multiple times by other bands for stealing their songs. you can look it up on UA-cam their hours of videos showing the songs they've stolen. if you're that talented you dont need to steal from others
Of course I saw Led Zeppelin live. I saw them in 75 at the Los Angeles Forum and then again in 1977 again at the Los Angeles Forum. My life changed that night in 1975 and I still haven’t been the same! I’m just a rock ‘n’ roll animal..
The concert is from 1969…..54 years ago. But then again, their music always was about 50 years ahead of it’s time. I feel like they are timeless ! People that are huge rock fans say Bonham was arguably the greatest drummer ever, and the same is said about Robert Plant on vocals, and Jimmy Page on guitar. Their raw talent was overwhelming !
I don't think this is a single concert but excerpts from several different concerts over time, judging from the band members' different appearances throughout the video. The settings also change from outdoor to indoor venues.
In England, a "back door man" is a lover that sneaks in and out by the back door so nobody sees him! DAZED AND CONFUSED has one of the greatest guitar solos ever played!
@@carolcarol3938 Since there are 2 meanings in America, a modern one and a traditional one, it's not clear from your comment which meaning fits the Australian one.
I was at the Led Zeppelin concert at Madison Square Garden in 1973, along with another 19,499 lunatics. I was a High School Senior and it was a true night to remember.
in 1976 i saw them live in berlin in the great deutschlandhalle.it was a big pleasure to hear and watch them live.the drummer ist john bonham who ist dying times ago.his son is a great drummer too.there is a video from a big show were they are re united and playing the song kashmir with his son on drums.this video is a pure shower of real power...very great musicians...
I miss living in an era of popular music where acts were valued for their musicianship, songwriting, creativity, and talent... not their attitude, tattoos, and social media presence. From 1968-72, Led Zeppelin was forging new ground with every new album. As much as I love their stuff from "Physical Graffiti" on, the stuff on their first 5 albums was ripping open the genre of blues-based rock and roll. Nobody could touch them.
I started listening to Led Zeppelin a long, long time ago! My best friend and I would listen to Led Zeppelin, and Steppenwolf in grade school back in 1969-70! My mom didn't approve of us listening to them! Uhh...the meaning of the song was exactly what you thought it was...plain and simple!!! As for this specific concert...it's hard to know...but they were so popular...their concerts were always sold out. I was too young at that time...I'm only 64...so you are probably looking at folks in their early to mid 70's who went to their concerts. You might find some in their late 60's who were in high school who saw them in concert! Did you already react to "Stairway to Heaven?" That song is 50 plus years old and is still being played on the radio....it's timeless! After you get through with listening to these guys, you need to listen to Jimmy Hendrix!
So many great songs here. Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, the Lemon Song, In My Time of Dying.. You can pretty much throw a dart and land on a great song! ✌️
"When The Levee Breaks" - "The Rain Song" - "Custard Pie" - "Ten Years Gone" - "In My Time Of Dying" - "Sick Again" - ANYTHING from Led Zeppelin, really. Been listening to them since 1972, as an 8-year-old kid. :-)

I was not at that particular concert, but I saw Led Zepline before there 1st album came out. I was15 years old. They were the warm up band. No-one WA Ted them to leave the stage. There did songs from there 1st album, including this one.
Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart did a cover of stairway to heaven when the surviving members of Zeppelin were honored at the Kennedy center. John Bonham’s son was the drummer for that performance. It was fantastic!
