All can see is the protective cover removable label. It would help the view for recording. did you just buy this new?
camera can't deal with it, but the video is just proof that modern scanner works on it. I got the snap on tridon d10 now, and it works the same way.
I wonder if it could read out the M40 system on E30 which is usually 1.6 or 1.8 litre. Production up to 1994, but this is 4 cylinder engine. I had one once and nobody could connect to it properly. Maybe tools were faulty.
Much newer engine, so It should!

Not sure if you’ve gotten your answer already or not but it’s a 16 to 20 pin adapter brother they sell them in eBay
What Monotronic version is necessary? I had no idea diagnostic tools like this worked on such an old vehicle.
