- This 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan has no heat. I found a leaky hose and intake manifold gasket. The upper and lower intake gaskets get replaced, plus i had to drill out a broken bolt.

Awesome display of skill getting that broken bolt out👌🏾. Great video!🤙🏾🇺🇸
I appreciate that. I’m glad it worked out.
Great video Steve. You did a great job explaining everything.
Thanks Tony, I appreciate that man.
Thanks 👍 for teaching us.
My pleasure yAng xAi
Awesome video thanks
Glad you liked it. Cheers!
I am about to tackle the front blower fan. A job for sure in my 06 Caravan
Yup. You’ll have to do some acrobatics.
Hey. Great vid. Btw, I usually can grab the broken bolt with my drill chuck. Just a thought
Great idea. This one broke too short to grab.
Great video! I attempted this job a few months back but I failed due to a broken bolt on the lower intake, just like you had. Good to know that there’s a way to fix it. By the way, where did you get the replacement bolt?
Thank you Muhammad. I’ve heard this is a common problem. I keep a set of commonly used fasteners on-hand to replace broken stuff, so I had one that matched.
What did he set that impact to? One unnga bunnga?
It must be nice to have all those tool's 😅
Not gonna lie, it does make life easier.
Moving a bolt in first and out can have a more positive experience
That’s true. I played with it for about 10 minutes, but cut out most of that in edit because it was boring.
@@ToolDemos I see yeah it can also stretch it to of your not careful
I want the parts list you use to build your pressure gage with air holes hookup pls
That air pressure regulator and gauge is bought not built. I bought it off of the Snap On truck as part of a cooling system pressure test kit.
I don't have tools - can I just bring my van to you and you can fix it? Haha! Just kidding!😁
The sad thing is, I’ve heard that bolt breaks often, so the job is more complicated than it should be.
That small hose on the bottom, what's that go to?? I'm leaking coolant but I can't figure out where except that hose is rotten. And i dont have any fancy tools like you lol
Not sure which one you mean huntr. If you’re asking about the one under the cowl, attached to the rear of the intake - that’s a vent for the crankcase. No coolant in there.
The hose under the intake near the throttle body is a vacuum hose (no coolant).
On the back side of the big water outlet on the intake (under the ignition coil) is a heater hose. There is coolant in that one.
@@ToolDemos thanks for the reply! Your vids are super helpful but I think I've bitten more than I can chew.
What Was Actually Repaired or Replaced To Get The Heat Working?
There wasn’t enough coolant in the system to get up to the heater core. So I fixed the leaks, filled the system, and got the heat back.

Thank U So Much, Enjoyed Your Detailed Content 😎
So in all my writing I replaced about everything except the climate control blend on driver's side and blend door actuator I assume it has since the control shows split level and the control itself still no heat at current time has a slow leak in lower plenum
Suggestions.
Yes it rums long enough to reach operating temperature
Go under the hood and look for the two heater hoses going into the cabin. When the engine is hot, feel those hoses to see what they feel like. If one is hot, and one is cold, that would indicate a clogged
heater core.
I have a 2004 dodge caravan I changed the motor blower water pump resistor spark plugs and wire oil changed and I still don't have no heat what is the problem I have to resolved this
Inside your dashboard, connected to your heater control is an electric motor. That motor controls a door that allows heated or cold air to come into the cabin. If that motor isn’t working properly, or has physically broken off, that would cause you to not be able to control the temperature. That little motor is called a mode door actuator, I would look there next and test it to see if it’s working.
I have checked the blend door actuator and still nothing no heat if I replaced everything what would it be the intake manifold gasket
Is gonna be hot soon and my cooler not working 🤦🏻♂️
