That is a great question, also because Olivia Coleman is the loveliest person. We didn't do a chemistry test, me and Olivia. I think I had first met her at one of their read-throughs, and we'd played ping pong. But I remember it was funny because, filming those scenes, those standoffs between Diana and the Queen, Olivia would like really quickly snap into character. She'd be sort of like, laughing, bubbly, her usual self. And then suddenly, it would be like, oh my God, it'd be terrifying. Always caught me off guard.
This makes me have a greater appreciation for those behind the scenes. The makeup, hair, and costume department are incredibly talented. They truly help these talented actors transform. 👏👏👏
I’m so excited to see this season, because I loved Josh’s portrayal of Charles last season, I’m excited to see the shift and how he and Emma will bounce off each other with Diana-Charles dynamic
I love the fact that Olivia is getting more and more comfortable in interview situations. Don't get me wrong she was always a joy to watch but now she has so much more confidence and kind of leads the whole thing! Love it!

I love anything Princess Diana related. I remember watching her funeral as a small child, and that definitely sparked my long lasting fascination with her, I think I've watched every doc about her on earth. That said, I think Emma did an incredible job, she blew me away. Her mannerisms were spot-on, her way of speaking and flirting, it was so very Diana.
Have i mentioned how much i love Olivia Colman because i love Olivia Colman. She radiates chaotic energy, she is mad as a box of cats and she is just such a joyous human being. She is a national treasure and she is a pure delight. But also one of the best actors ever. The fact she can go from the bonkers joyous person to really stoic and serious and can play all of these dramatic roles at the flick of a switch and not slip for a second is so impressive. She is honestly the best. If she could adopts me i would leave my whole family to have her as my mum.
She has the softness about her that young Diana had (I mean I wasn’t alive but I’m still obsessed). The natural beauty as well. I do not envy how nervous she must be to hear what people think once it comes out. I mean, it’s DIANA. Fingers crossed its a fantastic season!
