Interesting, so its like learning each of ogham and its meaning is like learning the meaning of the glyphs in astrology. It took me some time to learn the glyphs but, in doing so, I can do a basic reading of someones chart. I will have to look into your ogham course, I found this video because I was searching for a tool that lines up with my ancestors. Unfortunatly, not much is out there for those of Northern European decent. Most of my ancestors are from the UK (England, Ireland, and Scotland). Also Finland and Germany. I believe alot was hidden and lost because of Christianity. People were in fear and forced to secrecy.
Awesome! I am only starting to learn about the Ogham as I plan to use it to communicate with Morrigan but I will definitely taking your class on it as soon as my finances allow it 😊 Thank you for providing so many resources!
This is interesting and useful, thank you! I have a deck called The Celtic Oracle that uses oghams. For each card there’s a picture showing a figure from Irish Celtic mythology and corresponding tree, animal, color, uses for the specific wood, and has a tarot approach to the meanings. It has the directions as well which are associated with the dagda (West) lugh (south) etc.
It was published in the 90s and is part of a series but I’ve been enjoying it for the last few years. The more I learn about oghams and Irish and Celtic pegan lore I feel like they did a pretty good job of introducing this vast knowledge.
I’m happy to know how to pronounce everything now-they didn’t include any pronunciation in this book-Irish is such a strange language to me coming from English and Spanish background. But I’m happy to be able to learn it.

Hello again. Thank you for sharing the link to this. I started wanting to learn cards when I was about 20, and bought a set of the Ryder Waite ones. I never managed to learn to use them properly though saw a few courses offered locally. What you are saying about the Ogham was exactly what I felt I would need to do to learn the Tarot cards. I also always wondered about the detailed images and symbolism and if they were significant. Now I know. Awesome! It's helping me to get it into context.
