Great guide, loved the format. Much more digestible to hear someone analyze and explain games/choices than to crunch the numbers ourselves in Dotabuff/D2PT. I think the thought process guides are still very important for newer players, but for higher MMR people looking to learn new/meta heroes, this is great.
@@olegtkachev9318 True after bali major jugg had 700 gpm 26 mins fury, bflu, diffu, sny and still lost to a Medusa with skadi manta. Hero is utter garbage this guide inspired tons of morons to play jugg it's like the new AM takes 40 mins to get online. I have 80% Winrate on this hero with shard mael basher build.
Great pacing and concepts on this video. I like that you touch on some of the nuances of the decision making instead of just giving a flat "Go A or B because he does these" without the expansion of reasoning
Amazing guide, loved the thought process behind the decisions, not only the main decisions but also the alternatives. Already one of my favorite Dota channels!
bro i am trying to following your guide and surprisingly getting good result with jug! you earned my subscription! Please make more videos like this with other broken carry heros
Good format, I was having success with jugg as well but what really helped me understand was describing and explaining the item build. I did the same build but wasnt sure if it was the best
Another great video that’s ahead of BSJ and Speeeed. BSJ recently mentioned he’s going to make a video on this, so I think you had some great foresight on making this video. Excellent work!
Very helpful guide. I have been wondering as to why I have seen less Jug picks in my bracket, High Ancient-Divine, it would seem that I wasn't aware of his shard nerf which also means more prefer Battlefury on him now. Basically back to roots on how I played him before shards were added. I'll try him out more.
You forgot to mention that sange yasha speeds up the farming by almost 20% given the movespeed to catch more waves and camps in the same amount of time as NOT having it. And it perfectly combines with the new patch bonus night time movementspeed. In short, picking Jug allows you to: - Win the early bounty gold fights - Win laning stage - Solo kill tormentors - Risky push dangerous waves - Constantly Heal teammates throughout the game(if u so it with consistency, its very strong)
I think this guide is better than going to a thought process of a player, mainly because form me, I am a low rank player and need some explanation on some stuff why the player is doing that thing. But overall pretty darn good video thank you
@@PainDota ok man, anyway, very nice work with the video, I like your edits and clear way of explaining things! keep it up, I just might sub to support fellow dota2 content creator. 💯
I had to laugh when I heard "MALE STORM". I mean, the majority of the population, considering both male and female, will not want it to stop "Raining Men"™.
Well structured guide, and I agree with pretty much all of your explanations of his choices. Especially your emphasis on the good lane --> good BF timing, I think jugg NEEDS a decent timing and hence NEEDS to win his lane, which he can cus spin + blood Grenada + any decent 5.
New viewer, but this type of guide was great. You covered everything someone needs to know to try out this yatoro-style jugg, even down to the starting items when u lose gold. U earn a subscribe
Thank you so much bro.. I've literally tried to copy this and I have won 10/12 games on jugg. Doesn't matter how much mid whiffs.. I get jakiro and cm in lane and destroy then get the items and I'm unkillable after butterfly and lvl 20 talent
"neglected" by status resistance is a wrong use of the word mitigated or affected are words you're looking for and I think the term "chip" for chipping towers is used when you're pushing very slowly and damaging it by a bit /chipping/ at it like getting a few hits anytime you have spin up I wasn't aware of the shard nerf and went Maelstrom Shard and lost lol.
good guide, although I would rather skill q and w before e, because it can ruin your last hits with that random crit. idk its just my opinion, but when i hit lvl 7 or 8 i usually then skill blade dance because usually by that point im jungling
CM Jugg classic lane is stronger than ever, literally instant win lane, no offlane hero in game has a chance to fight the high dps magic. All you can do vs that lineup is stay back and get xp/nuke creeps for CS.
Also, the magical build its worse now cause rosh dont give shard anymore, making jugg spend gold, and the magic resist with int makes it even do less damage
Hey Pain, I noticed whilst watching this that Yatoro never seemed to have over 2k HP, even at 30 minutes into the game, because of Jugg's strength gain. Whenever I play Jugg I always feel like I get bursted very easily and need more HP, so do you have any insights as to why Yatoro does not buy Skadi, Linken's, Aghs, or Abyssal to give him more HP and is comfortable playing at such low HP?
I've noticed my juggernaut players dying to a solo nyx. It depends from game to game. Jugg has a way to counter react to most of the magical burst with his Q unless he gets hexed or something. In those cases, you might have to shift up your itemization. SNY helps against that. Overall, this build is designed to right click against right click damage mostly. You need to have good reaction time to use ur Q before you can get bursted. Right clicks won't burst you in this build, only magic will
Status Resistance basically reduces the duration of de-buffs on you. This can include stuns, silences, etc pretty much anything you can get affected by.
I would say Jugg is specially bad because of the nerf to bkb. You just get pre stunned and pre silenced every time Good video still, I wanted to try Jugg a lot

Really liked this guide, hopefully following this guide, Jug is not as dead of a hero as once thought
Jugg's actually still really good, particularly if you build for aghs sceptre lategame build instead of a shard spin midgame build
No, don't play it, it's a useless hero, don't get jebaited. This hero is very situational, not spammable and in most cases just garbage
@@olegtkachev9318 what's ur rank lol

currently on a 11 winstreak using Jugg following this guide and watching yatoro jugg streams and replays. Good shit.
Amazing guide, loved the thought process behind the decisions, not only the main decisions but also the alternatives. Already one of my favorite Dota channels!
this video format is pretty good since the reasoning is explained, allowing for more general applications in-game

Butterfly also grants your illusions more damage and durability so if you have manta it's value is higher.

would like to hear an analysis on his blade fury usage: basically in what situations should you aim to press it.
For clearing out waves/camps before battlefury. To dodge projectile stuns, initiations, tping out

Is maelstrom not good for the current meta for jugg?
If not then, when should I build maelstrom and not battlefury?

why in the last clip does he go for MKB? is it for riki smoke?
Yes its for the riki smoke
How do you lose gold in the pick phase?
If someone doesn't pick a hero in the given time, you get -2 per second
