Kacha fever🤣; she'd be so proud. It looks gorgeous and, in my opinion, much better than the original wood finish. I don't understand why these Negative Nellies even watch these types of channels when they're against painted finishes. They should only watch renovation channels🤷♀️
I agree 💯. If someone doesn't like paint d furniture I am not the channel for them to watch. Lol. I think the dresser turned out stunning. ❤️

Painted furniture has been around since the late 1700s, so a very long time. I love all types of furniture it just depends on the piece. I must say, this piece is one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve seen in some time. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I love it. You took that piece from average to over the top. Everything about that piece was fantastic. Great job.

Awesome job ! Gilding wax is addictive lol . There's nothing wrong with painting furniture , everybody does it And if I wanna go cheap on paint I think that behrs chalk paint is an excellent choice

Omgoodness! You're like me - get started on something and can't stop! But I love the gold highlights and the sides look fantastic! I do not like to paint real antiques that are solid wood and in good condition. But if a piece is messed up or not even real antiques I go for it! This piece needed it! So gorgeous. I decided to paint a small mcm piece recently after much thought. It was not in the best shape though. I did stain the drawer front and a decorative pc on the bottom and painted the rest a pretty green. I loved it! It was hard for me to let it go even tho it didn't fit the style of my house. Sometimes we have to make a decision whether it's popular or not!
It been hard for me to let a few pieces go myself. I think this dresser is my new favorite flip. 🩵

I love the blue and the gold accents on the front although I don't care for the damasks stencil sides or the gold trim around the top. You took a beautiful piece which was eye catching to borderline gaudy.

What happens to the gold guilding wax? Will it wear off? or do you cover it with something? Thanks!
It hardens and becomes part of the topcoat. You shouldn't have to reapply it

I’m all about the provincial and you made this so beautiful, I’ve never seen any piece of furniture that you couldn’t enhance and leave people astounded. I’m all about these French provincial pieces. The Henderson’s used to pop one out every 5 days. Now I don’t even see them. I just pray over each provincial. I prayed for yours . Shabbat Shalom

It turned out fantastic! Beautiful job! I did a similar piece this spring in green & I had to hold myself back from the “Katcha fever” 🥰 I was afraid I would go overboard & it would turn out terrible, but I got it right with the amount I did. I have a Drexel Fr. Prov. that I’m in the process of repairing & now I want to try the powder coating! 🤗

What type of sprayer do you use for the primer, paint, clearcoat and powder glaze? Do you use the same tip size to spray everything? Thanks
3M Accuspray. Yes I use the same tip for all the products that I spray. I used to switch to a smaller tip for topcoat but have learned to just move my hand faster instead.
