OhMyGoodness!!! Loving that end color with both of the paint washes!!! 💓 I was thinking as I was watching, to keep the old pulls, but man oh man, the new pulls rocked!! The wash & wood grain is the star🌟💓🌟
Wao you always always do such a beautiful job you have the best ideas for redoing furniture the end looks nothing like the beginning of that peace of furniture . have a blessed weekend ❤.
Absolutely beautiful! I usually use a whitewash to take out the yellowish tones before applying stains. I'm going to try a paint wash sometime. I love how this turned out. Nice choice on handles too!
Beautiful!!!! Did you have to fill the original hardware holes after all that work? Thanks for the tip about applying a wash on top of shellac. I’ve often wondered if that would work.
The original color was beautiful also
Agree
Good call on hardware. This is a beauty.

Thanks! I think switching the hardware was the right call.

I was so hopefully the old hardware would look good. And then, I was bummed they looked so bulky with the lighter finish. I do love the new ones too!
I never would have thought of applying old based stain over a paint wash. The result is amazing!
Thank you! Glad to share that’s doable and yes, the results are beautiful.

Thanks!!😊
Awesome
Thank you!
So nice! How do you know to add the stain over the paint wash!? I was so afraid it wasn’t going to improve the look, but wow! It looks amazing.
I guess you know once the color wash dries out. Sometimes the wash is enough for me, but not on this piece.
Sooo beautiful my friend and the hardware Really Took it to next level ❤😍😍
Thank you so much 🤗

I have found my favorite adjustable handles. I use them a lot for this type of finishes, that way I can use the existing hardware holes.
@@aliferefurbished FYI - the Amazon link for the handles doesn't work.
What grade did you use for taking off the shellac ? I didn’t know what type to use so it was very heavy. You didn’t say what grit 😮😮
I would use 220 grit or higher.
RH is so over rated.
I do love their finishes! Their price is just a little too high for my budget.
