I was surprised how much i liked the end result, only because I'm so fond of old wood furniture. But you not only redid this beautifully but so respectfully of the grain. Gorgeous work and terrific tutorial! Thank you!
Thank you very much!
I always have the same, I cringe when seeing the beginning but applaud the end result. She knows how it will become
I really love be this. You have made me a fan of natural wood
*Very easy to build, came perfect with all of the pieces and no damage **MyseIf.Furniture** It’s small but I was aware of that before I bought it. The storage drawers are deep and hold A LOT more than you would think. Looks really nice in my bedroom, probably will get another in the future.*
Love, love, love how it turned out! I've never heard about these colored stains. They seem like a good alternative for folks who don't want to paint over a beautiful grain but still like some color. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!
I really love your choice of colors and the jute twine on the handles is genius! Well done!
This turned out amazing. I LOVE minwax and have used them for years...and probably always will!
Thanks, Cory!
@@ChristinaMuscari you are very welcome!

Omg finally! So excited!
That turned out fabulous!
Stunning piece... will bring charm to somebody’s home.
Love love love!!!!!!!!
So awesome! I just purchased the wood conditioner and pure white for a highboy I'm working on a few weeks ago. I was starting to chicken out and wallah! I get to see you use it! I'm going to try using the translucent pure white on the body and keep the drawers their natural beautiful walnut. Thank you so much for the video :)
I'm so sorry but I have to point out that the word you were looking for is "voilà".
Wallah on the other hand is arabic and means "by God".
@@MrGrumpyGills you are correct! Thank you for letting me know! Happy new year! When you know better, you do better…
Beautiful as always.
I absolutely love this piece 💕💕...just amazing!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Thanks for the clear instruction and tips! So many great things about this project, I love how this is a water-based stain, quick dry time and easy clean up, thanks for introducing me to this product! And that grain highlight wax...Beautiful result. And wrapping the jute around the hardware was genius for the coastal look! Love the finished look, beautiful work Christina.
Thanks, Deanna! I love your videos and projects, too.
So obsessed with this stain color 🧡✨
love it!! watching you is so relaxing to me!
Love this! I’m a huge fan of anything coastal. Now I want to try these stains.
Just gorgeous!!! I will now be doing something similar for my sons dresser that I didn’t want to hide the beautiful wood grain! It shows you had fun with this project too!
Wonderful!
Love this...great job christina!!!
This is stunning 🤩
Love this so much!
Just a beautiful piece!
Thank you, Christina, for this inspirational video. I have a small dresser exactly like this one. I love the lines of the oak and you’ve shown me how to accentuate them with these products. Totally motivated!!! Hope y’all have a great weekend 😊
You are so welcome!
Beautiful!!!
Amazing work, Christina!
Thanks for exploring these water based minwax stains!! I love minwax perhaps I will try this on my wood grain rocking chair. I’ve wanted to chalk paint it but have hesitated because I love the wood grain now I know I can have both and loose the orange wood tone! Probably do cream or off white in the minwax transparent watcher based stain.
Love it, it turned beautiful
Thanks 4 the inspiration. Excellent work 🔥🔥🔥
Christina, I have learned so much from watching your instructional videos! I have attempted to duplicate some of your creations (turned out pretty nice, but not nearly as professional as yours). Thank you for sharing your expertise with us! 😊
Beautiful job!
Beautiful 💓 thank you for sharing this, I'm not a fan of painting a gorgeous piece like this, but I love how the tinted stain enhanced this beauty. Thanks again ☺️
I love this so much!
Love your work
It’s beautiful!
I loved what you did with this dress.
I would love to use that on my wood cabinets in kitchen. Might take awhile though. Love how beautiful the grain looks on chest . Great job.
That came out really nice!
Awesome job,I love it 🙏🇺🇸🙋🏼♀️🎄 merry Christmas everyone
This was a GREAT video and tutorial! I have golden oak cabinets in my bathrooms, and the whitewash that you did on the drawers is exactly what I have envisioned for 2 of my bathrooms. I may want something with a little more saturation, but the washed-look is exactly what I'm going for. Kudos to you and to Minwax for this video and these products!
Glad it was helpful!
What a beautiful piece. This was an awesome tutorial. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Amazing work Christina! Fantastic tips and instructions 👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous piece !!
Thank you so much, Christina! I love your projects and videos, too.
What a steal on the piece. Love these stains, beautiful.
Thanks so much!
Love your videos 💗
I think I'm gonna have to try this. I have dresser just like yours. Some of these pieces have beautiful wood but they are so dark this is a win win situation. Thank you very much
What a stunning piece! AHHHHH makes me want to redo a piece! Haven't done one in a while!! Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs!
Thanks! I love all your DIY's and videos, too.
Thank you for this video. Always have liked the light colors you choose. I will be trying this out on a dresser I have and I would probably go with a blue shade of some kind and a greyish. Have to check out their colors.
I love this process! It turned out so beautiful! As always, you do such a great job on the tutorials :) I am seriously considering doing both our chest of drawers and bureau in this technique, but instead of the blue tint I was thinking more of a green. I've whitewashed two nightstands I got at ReStore but this is just a bit different in technique. Gotta try it! Thanks for sharing your expertise! I need to get one of your shirts ;) You and Kacha are amazing!
washed out blue is my favorite color 😍😍 ughhh this piece could not turn out any prettier 🤤🤤😍😍!!
id definitely give this method a try , well done Christina , been waiting for this video for one week haha
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful outcome! I really appreciate you trying different products. Most especially ones we can get locally.
You are so welcome!
I really like that technique. I am going to try it on a holiday sign before I commit to a large piece. You make it look so easy.👍🏼❤️
What a great idea! Have fun.
Great job! Just joined due to your tutorial for minwax, it will be a great alternative for different looks like coastal..
Can't wait to try them! Great job!
Have fun!
Gorgeous transition, love it
Thanks so much!
Great job!! love it..
I’m late to the party, but LoVE minwax!! And you rocked this makeover! Ooh I wanna try that soft touch sealer!
Beautiful as always. Also love your hand (not needle) crocheted blanket!
Woooow 👍👍👍Amazing
I have two oak bureaus ready to redo. I couldn’t make progress because I wanted color but didn’t want to lose the wood grain. This is great! Can’t wait!
Perfect!
Love it!
Thanks!!
Really nice well done 👍🏻
Beautiful! I love the white wash and I bought some honey color that I have yet to use. 😊😊
Beautiful, I like how detailed you are with the directions, you could also remove the back plate of the drawer pulls and use just the handle, great way to upcycle!
Love, love, love the end result in this piece. I don't believe this kind of product is available where I live but if it were I would definitely do something similar. You inspire me.
Thank you so much!
I love this! Great job!
Thanks!
Really pretty! Love the look!
Thank you so much!!
Trund out so beautiful you did great job I lovet thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome
Beeeautiful! I have a tall-drink-of-water '80's oak bookcase I'd love to try this same treatment with! Thank you for the great video!
Oh awesome! Thanks for watching.
I love the end result. I've been looking at these Minwax stains at my local hardware store. I actually picked up a gray stain and am definitely inspired to use it now.
You should! Love all their new products!
So good!!!!
Thanks, Sarah!
Can’t wait!
Worth waiting for! It's beautiful! Off to Lowes I go!
Yes!!! Thanks.
Wow! You are amazing!
Wow, thank you!
Thrilled you did this video! I had just seen these at Lowe's and was tempted but wanted to do more research on the product. Thanks for doing it for me! I'm not an orange person but I liked that there was the option on their color chart and now want to find a project to try it on. Going out of the comfort zone...
Oh awesome! I’m glad it was helpful.
Very nice!
I liked the oak,but you gave it a nice look!
On my screen it looks gray and pink. I am still in "pink" as the best colour, so, love how it turned out.
Nicely done summertime i comes soon lol
It is very nice !!, I have a project similar to this, thanks for giving me ideas. ❤️👏👏
You are welcome 😊
Hi Christina, great tutorial, thank you! I would like to stain my kitchen cabinets with this product, do I have to sand them down first?
How do you know if you should use a stain stripper or just sand it down? LOVE love this piece!
I like to use those stains on wood crates and boxes and the blues and greys look great would like to see what the yellow looks like.
Great idea!
Nice!
Lol I've it!!
Beautiful piece! You have way more patience than I do. I don’t like sanding that much. Personally I couldn’t do a whole dresser like that, maybe just the top and drawers though. Nice job!
It is a commitment, but in this case...so worth it.
Thank you Christine for a simple affordable makeover video. I was wondering about the pre stain solution. I have a piece waiting to be painted or stained later but it's really sad and dry do you think this product would be good to use to add some litre n lifes into the wood while it waits for some attention?
