metalcast ..true results copper failed every time anodized works

duplicolor anodized yellow works great but to green for what i need,dupli copper coat is ok (color wise)with 3 very light coats,but its just crap paint &wont apply properly so it just looks ..... :( now i gotta strip it off and back to basic restart again i mean the copper coat even dulled untouched from manufacture chrome :O
