    Ok so metal cast is great for bikes, but not frames only parts. Something like a hub, a stem, or whatever and then if it gets scuffed you can easily repaint or do what you want with it. Just repainted a S&M enduro stem that I had to strip some other spray paint off beforehand (part came from a retrieved previously stolen bike) amazing high end parts. Guy was so devastated he said he was done with bmx and sold all his stuff just the way it was… I got the spray paint off in about…. 30 minutes ? Hahaha liquid wrench penetrating oil and soapy water/aluminum foil never fails

    I had no issue getting it to stick, but my frame was very coarsely blasted. Ran like hell though, and reacted to POR 15 clear. Going to try to sand correct. Seems like you have to do half at a time to avoid runs. I agree, PITA but metallic quarts are pricey

      I wouldn’t sand before metal cast but if it worked for you maybe it’s not a bad idea. I’ve always been told sanding before hand even on the can it says is a bad idea

    Did U apply clear coat, at the end?

    You have to use primer First!!!!
