VW auto door lock & unlock function - "How to" set up

How to set up your VW auto door lock & unlock function via a highline dash and multi function steering wheel. Highline dash displays have a 'settings' menu.
If you don't have a multi function wheel it may be possible to use the toggle on the end of the wiper stalk.
If you don't have a highline dash your Volkswagen dealer can program the vehicle via their computers.

Thank you a lot, your answer was very helpful. That is indeed handy, though, I've been test driving a Golf mk7 the other day, saw this feature on the board computer, turned it to all, got off the car, locked it, and then hit and kept holding the unlock button with no result...
PS: I live in Greece, if this changes anything ( I think the american market does not let you open the windows using the key buttons without modifications)

I have the menu that you show in the video (on my 2011 Tiguan SEL), however, no 'central locking' option. Can I still program the doors to unlock when the driver door is opened?

So, is there a feature to autolock the doors when you exit the car and walk away? I know, you can press the key fob however, if your arms are full and can't press the lock button, walking away could lock the car if you could. Just thinking.

I have a Golf GT MK 5 and on my dash it shows speed 19mph constantly can this be changed or change to my actual speed whilst im driving?

Lewis Abernethy Hi, no, sorry, the Mk5 doesn't have a digital speedo setting. It sounds like you're looking at the average mph for your current or overall journey. Hope that helps!
