What would the world be without UA-cam...
This is why guys charge $15K-$30K for paint jobs. It’s the knowledge; it’s the skill. It’s way too much... wayyyyyyy too much but they get it because people pay it.
Outstanding! Absolutely wonderful work! Absolutely fabulous! You are an artist! Beautiful! “Liked” - done! I subscribed some time ago. I’ve learned a lot from you. Keep ‘em coming, please.

Ok, Adam, I watch you and you go along, then I say what? why would he do....? Before I can get the thought out of my head, I'm staring at an original true work of art! I have done portraits and caricatures for a long time, some you nail it some, Nah, but you, my friend, you are gifted. I am in awe of your talent sir. I think everything you do should be signed and dated. The junkyard is full of your canvas!

Well sir all I can say is well done. I'm 72 and back in the 60s I used to do T shirts and bike tins in the down town of where ever I found my self. Folks today wont pay for 30 hours of airbrush work. Your technequ is a great balance of the art and the money ends. I have ordered a supply of the white and clear sheets. Thanks to folks like you the custom work stays affordable. Looking forward to lots more videos,I like learning from other artists.

I was surprised to see after 50 years another person using the old "Mod Podge" transfer to substitute for the lack of skill we used an airbrush for back in the day. In those days the painters would use straight lacquer (Nitrocellulose) and later 60's Acrylic lacquer for the base and then about 12 coats of clear to bury it. Problem was the paint often cracked after time. If I laid out an airbrushed mural using masking for the details, 3 coats of clear, wet sand back to level the work and then 3 more for the final.

What a work of art. Having watched so many features with specialty painting and often wondered how it was created. Simple really, just wave that magic wand (air brush) and bury it in the depth. Not so much for my taste but watching the creation sure was interesting and how fine it came out. Masterful.
Edit: 1 year later. i HAVE FOUND JUST ABOUT EVERY MISTAKE i COULD EVER MAKE trying my hand at this. Seems the video is interesting to watch, but, hugely lacking in details. I was considering just sending it to you, but, you are far to busy it seems. 1 tank and all the mistakes later, 6 months, going back to metal twice, and though I hve not given up, I certainly learned (read as $$$$$$$) just how intricate these things are.

The picture transfer is very much like the Deco Posh on wood of the olden days but way more advanced. Very Nice. We used have to cut the picture out of a magazine ''a certain brand publisher in order for it to turn out''' There were`nt any ink jet printers in those days. In fact a computer relay was the size of a pick up truck bed back in those days no printers they used tinker tape as it was called. But we used to build racing cars and race them it would tell if you blowed an engine tranny what ever then put all the results on tiker tape to be used next time.
