In this video I break down the process on how I custom paint this true real fire eagle on a Harley Davidson Chopper gas tank. I'll show you ways of creating a paper stencil to register your image that will help guide you through the layering process. Painting an underlayer (underpainting), clear coating then further refining your image erasing back highlights with a fiberglass pen or eraser makes adding fine detail easy.

Hello. Your paint jobs are amazing. I have a Harley Road King. It is Vivid Black. I've been fixing it up, making it mine, as one does. I have a pretty limited budget but I have really been checking some good upgrades off the list. One thing about my bike is, other than a few silver pin strips, my bike is a blank canvas. I would never have the money to send it off and have it custom painted but I've dappled in painting over the year. And I am pretty good at drawing. Thanks to your videos and other painting videos, I think I may be able to do a pretty killer paint job. Thanks alot.

Laying the white out loosely helps create the fire affect
super rad video! question, what kind of fans do you have pulling overspray out? im having issues with getting overspray out of my homemade booth in my garage with two fairly large metal drum fans from home depot
Thanks. Sounds like those fans would work good enough. I have a 12” booth fan. Just make sure you have a good respirator. 👌

hey bro, good work, i have question...do you paint the design right after painting the tank black? Or do you paint the tank black and then sandpaper to be able to paint the design?
Right on the base coat black
08:20 600 Grit sandpaper. Clearly u put on a 320. But with the soft pad it will be almost as a 400. Do you do that on purpose, and just advise using a 600, so people don't go straight through the clearcoat, if they are new at sanding?

What use in curve when spraying paint brush

I might be asking a silly question but what do you use to clean the automotive paint out of the airbrush? If it dries in the airbush are you screwed?
