Love the approach of blocking in the shadows/highlights based on the undercoat. Also a big fan of blending those blocked areas as well. Great video, sorastro!
you probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Calvin Tristen i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Thank you for showing the occasional close-up of the consistency of your paint. So many painters leave out this bit of info. It helps hobby painters, like myself, improve our skills.
@sorastro's painting , this was your best video yet. You went in more detail about the starting methods for beginner painters than in your other videos and it felt more reassuring as the process went on. The details were great in this model and the music you created was spot on. I honestly was expecting a rehash of the IA music but this was even better. Thank you.
+MrVoltog Thanks so much MrVoltog! I'm glad you appreciate the extra effort I put into this first episode; I really wanted it to be as beginner friendly as possible whilst still doing the figure justice. I was also determined to create a fresh musical theme for the series to set it apart from IA so I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
The tutorials are so easy to follow, and are really well paced, I can't wait for the other videos too. The minis look more detailed and better quality than IA. I can see my range of paints being expanded in anticipation of this release.
I live in Ecuador, here there is no store where we can purchase Miniatures or paint, watching your videos is the only way I can enjoy the hobby from here. Thank you so much sir.
It was good because you actually showed how to use the paints, as well as how to blend, how to shade, how to highlight etc. You had clear video of all the process you were using and great explanations. I've seen plenty of videos that might show each individual part, but the bits where you show the mixing and diluting of colours was what sets this apart from other tutorials. One thing I did learn from you was how you spray the highlight and block in the shade darker than the light. I've seen this done with other processes (usually by photos and then refer to them when highlighting) but this method was superb, and I can't wait to try it out myself when I eventually get back to painting proper, everything has been speed painted (zombicide Season 1->3 with all extras) so I don't get to paint for quality much any more.
Fabulous work. Or to put it another way, “most impressive”. I’ve been painting figures since the late 70’s but you’ve proved yet again there is always something new to lean. Thankyou.
Congrats on getting this early. It was just announced today! Happy to see your tutorials are being recognized by the gaming company community. Love the OSL on this mini.
So awesome to see these getting painted ahead of the release date. Assuming they approached you, good on them for hitting up one of the best painters on the net!
Thanks you Brian! Yes - It's going to be awesome to have the whole thing covered in time for the release so no-one has to wait around for the me to play catch up :)
I usually use the technique of always painting black as a base color on the whole minitures then higlighting with white paint so that the outer parts become lighter and the remaining parts become darker. Then I paint wax white on the clothes then just like you with brown belt, metal color on the weapon , Finally, I run wash on different parts to bring out the extra shine and realism in the figure
This video is awesome. Even loved the music. I'm excited to get a hold of Legion and painting them now. (I have never really played any minatures games let alone painted any).
I've been watching quite a few of your videos now Sorastro because they are so well produced and entertaining. A lot of hard work and high quality professionalism has gone into making them. Thank you for sharing your many talents and your teaching. Well done mate.
A brilliant tutorial, I didn't realised that this game was to be published until today, but first thing I've thought After I found out has been, "great, more Sorastro's tutorials". On this one the explanations of the use of the zenithal/oriented highlighting as guide to paint the miniature, and of the way to apply the highlights when you want to achieve an OSL effect, are very good. As usual, a great job.:)
I got suggested to watch your B1 video and I clicked on it, saw it was a series so decided to start at the beginning. A+ video, amazing quality and Im gonna have to check out all your other videos.
Holy crap, thats some amazing work. I probably wouldnt watch a painting video that long normally, but i'm really glad i did. I'm looking forward to your take on the other characters, and if i buy Star Wars Legion trying to follow your guide.
Great video man ! I just began with painting miniatures for Warhammer 40k but this takes it to a new level. I can't wait for this game to be out and start painting it.
This was excellent! I remember long ago painting my IA storm troopers using your first video/guide and posting on the old FFG forum (you replied with a kind comment). I'm glad to have seen your skill and channel grow over the years my friend!
I know I've commented on your videos before, but I'm really waiting to see an Emperor Palpatine video. Btw, after watching most of your Star Wars videos, I think what's really pulling me in is the Star Wars themed video, but also your ability to bend and shade different parts and how to set up the lighting with that first spray of the white paint. I've never seen that before.
While I am primarily into painting fantasy miniatures, this was a stellar video. I appreciate you going into detail with the zenithol shading with the spray primers (since I don't own an airbrush). Keep it up!
Exceptional paint job, as ever. Congrats on getting the well-deserved recognition from FFG. I found your tutorials to be top-notch for IA and hope to continue following your guides for SW:L.
Great video!! Loved the idea of using different base coats using the zenithal highlights as a guide. Not a technique I've seen before but worked out great! Keep up the good work!
Watching these for two reasons: 1. They’re BEAUTIFUL works of art you do, and I can only sit in awe and wonder how that light saber isn’t actually glowing.... 2. I wish to steal your techniques for doll customs, my art of choice
Amazing video ! I have been having a hard time learning to paint minis, so this is extremely helpful. I am really excited for Star Wars Legion. Can't wait to see more videos !
Do you use mainly use citadel paints for your legion painting and could you do a video all about the paint , brushes and equipment to help the totally new beginner like me
Hi Jim! I use a mix of Citadel and Vallejo mostly. There's not much else to add equipment wise beyond what's already mentioned in this video to be honest.. :)
Great miniature, but that paint job is something else! I’m really impressed by the video too, and got some great tips for basing. Also, those brushes look fantastic! Gotta hook me up with some of those.
I bought myself an early Christmas present. Since I often buy games and paint some of the minis and quit after the heroes, I’m going to follow these videos so everyone gets their due. Thank you again for doing these. You should check out the new lord of the rings boxed set. The figures would be right up your alley
Once again, a superb video tutorial :-D I use airbrush thinners to thin some of my paints now, for wash/glaze purposes, which helps really well with the lighting effect highlights that you show us how to achieve. I like the way you painted the face in this video so much, I'm going to try it myself on a few practice figures before I do it on any of the figures for my collection. I hadn't heard of the new Star Wars Legion game before this video, so now I'm more than a little excited at the possible new figures to add to my collection. I MUCH prefer this figure of Luke to the Imperial Assault figure, as it offers so much more of a dynamic pose, and much more in the way of a challenge to paint, due to the pose and details on it. Please don't ever stop bringing your videos out, as I've learned more in the short time of viewing them than I have in over 30 years of following other painting guide books. I still wish you'd been around in the late 60's when I started model figure painting, as life would have been much more exciting than the black and white model making programme we had to watch on Saturday mornings, along with the odd Blue Peter terrain making episodes :-) All the very best Paul Hope you don't mind, but I put a tip on straightening lightsabre blades in the comment box for your Obi Wan Kenobi tutorial video :-)
I've always really loved your videos. Citadel should sponsor you because I have bought many paints I see you use. Many videos I watch are of minis that I don't even own simply because I enjoy watching. Great work!
Following your Vids since I started with SW IA and your Vids motivated me after nearly 25 years to start painting again. Thanks for this fly back in time! I especially love in this Vid how you describe the used colors & mixes ( I just noticed in this Vid that you ALWAYS thin your colors with water...gonna keep that in mind) :-) I'm still hoping that you will grab a Dreadfleet mini maybe some day - would love to see how you would spread your art on Ships! Cheers and keep up the good work!
+john tailby Thanks John! I did that primarily to dull down some of the pale forest litter as it was a little distracting to the eye, but you're right - it does provide a subtle bit of shade :)
Congratulations on FFG's recognition of your talents (unless I'm mistaken) There's no way I'd ever get into this (or any other Warhammer-like) game, but I love watching your tutorials nonetheless. Another amazingly helpful episode!
amazing work... I like the phrase "you can stop here... but I'm going to go a little further". Way ahead Fantasy flight demo set at gencon. Thanks for all the pro tips on this one, hope to do it half well.
Thanks for making such a great beginner friendly guide. I've never done anything like this before, but Legion is making me consider it. I'd say I'm wanting to give it a try, but as we know from the wisdom of Master Yoda there is no try.
Wow, another exellent tutorial mate! Well done. You give the best miniature painter tutorials out there. I keep learning a lot from you, so thx again ;-).
THANKS FOR POSTING! You are my favorite online painter, period Brother Of The Stars... lol! I am looking forward to seeing your further adventures in painting this game.... BIG 🌟💜❗
Great guide! Also congrats on your collaboration with FFG. :) BTW - have you ever considered making series about specific areas of painting hobby? I have in mind extensive episodes about one topic at time. For example ep. 1: Paints, ep. 2: Brushes, ep. 3: Tools, equipment and workshop, ep. 4: Preparation, ep. 5: Priming, ep. 6: Base colors, ep. 7: Shading, ep. 8. Highlights et cetera. I know that you repeat these things almost all the time, but.... only to certain degree. There are more advanced tips, tweaks, tricks and recommendations inside your videos and it's very hard to find them out after some time since first watching. I think I'm not the only one who would love to see how exactly you prepare your minis step-by-step, what files you like, what putty you use most of the time, what type of glue is the best for certain task, etc. There are so many interesting topics for such series. Episodes probably wouldn't have to be longer than 15 minutes, but they will be quite popular, I'm sure, because there aren't many vids about these topics with "good production values" and interesting approach. What do you say? Don't get me wrong - I don't want you to stop making vids about painting minis from specific games, just want to see new and little different format. :)
Thanks vojtasjedyny! I have actually been thinking about producing some short videos in which I'll discuss various topics as you describe, however I like covering individual specific minis because I relish the theme and I think I'd be less inspired talking about files and glues etc (which I'm often not much of an expert on anyway!). I'll see what I can do though.. :)
Thanx for sharing this - have tried to achieve the lighting effect in the past... never came out really good but your idea seams really cool... will give it a try
I used the suggested mix of paints for Luke's clothes (Celestra Grey, Screaming Skull and Death World Forest) and it came out great. Added a drop of black as suggested to do the boots, also came out great. Fantastic work here in identifying the right mix of paints for that part! When is the painting guide for General Veers coming out? I can hardly wait and I look forward to it!
Thanks a lot Greg! I'm glad you had success with the colour recipe for Luke. I'm currently filming the Veers episode, so depending on the approval process I should be able to publish it in a week or two :)
Tho an older video, sadly the glazes are out of stock, you can ofc make your own. But what other ink/glaze/wash would you recommend when making light effects from various sources. Thanks for the video, you've really shown me another way of painting. Thanks
Love the approach of blocking in the shadows/highlights based on the undercoat. Also a big fan of blending those blocked areas as well. Great video, sorastro!
Thanks buddy! I'm really glad you liked it :)
you probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Bishop Karson instablaster ;)
@Calvin Tristen i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Calvin Tristen it worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass !

WOW. Well done. Worthy recognition. I'm really pleased it's you that's doing these videos.
Thanks a lot Starfish1! I'm please that you're pleased :)
I'm glad too so many people benefit from IA tutorials, you are the best for this :-D great job can't wait for other minatures
The tutorials are so easy to follow, and are really well paced, I can't wait for the other videos too. The minis look more detailed and better quality than IA. I can see my range of paints being expanded in anticipation of this release.
You make the most practical miniature guides on UA-cam! You break things down for me so well! Great video!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you found the video useful 😀
I live in Ecuador, here there is no store where we can purchase Miniatures or paint, watching your videos is the only way I can enjoy the hobby from here. Thank you so much sir.
Thank you for the kind comment Lee! I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to buy hobby supplies where you are... :(
I've been painting for 25+ years and I can happily say this is the best tutorial video I've ever seen.
+James Cachia-Garrett Wow - thanks James! I really appreciate that :)
It was good because you actually showed how to use the paints, as well as how to blend, how to shade, how to highlight etc. You had clear video of all the process you were using and great explanations. Thank you for talking through each step. I have been painting for years but I feel like I can do better by learning from your example.
Thanks Michael! I'm glad you found the video useful :)
Impressive, most impressive.
+bushibayushi Thank you! I aim to please :)
Congrats Sorastro on the commission! Can't wait to see more from Legion, it looks awesome!
Thanks James! I'm looking forward to painting the rest of the minis too :)
Absolutely amazing quality video. Great commentary, clear explanations and directions, everything in focus. You got a sub out of me. Great work.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind feedback 😃
Wow, just wow. What a great paint job and you made it look so easy and achievable.
Thanks a lot Phil! It is quite achievable - with a little patience and practice :)
Congrats on getting this early. It was just announced today! Happy to see your tutorials are being recognized by the gaming company community. Love the OSL on this mini.
Thanks a lot Dave! Much appreciated :)
I used this technique on a Conan mini I painted. Worked flawlessly. The two tone face I mean. Would never have thought of that!
Hey buddy - that's great! I'm glad you found it useful :)
I love that saber glow effect
Thanks Richard! It's a nice easy trick actually :)
Well done sir. Your videos are by far the best for beginners and intermediates.
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that :)
This is just another example of your incredible work. Looking forward to the rest.
Thanks so much David! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Now I'm gonna need you to go back to the Descent figures so I can look at yours, then mine, and have a good cry. :P
:D
I never thought of using a darker primer then a lighter for the highlights. Pretty brilliant.
No! The iconic Sorastro bottlecap has been spray painted grey! It truly is a new era.
This looks amazing. I wasn't even sure if I was going to buy this game but this video was completely sold me on it. Well done
Thanks Ryan! :D
I usually use the technique of always painting black as a base color on the whole minitures then higlighting with white paint so that the outer parts become lighter and the remaining parts become darker. Thanks for sharing your process! 😀
About to get my first Legion pack, which will be this one. As a beginner this video will be critical. I appreciate your efforts.
Awesome! Thank you so much 😀
I am not someone to comment on UA-cam but I have to say this is a fantastic tutorial and has helped me think about my painting differently. Thank you
+Mitchell Clark Thanks a lot Mitchell! I really appreciate that :)
Absolutely wonderful. You basing technique is superb and is an often ignored skill I think you do well in highlighting.
Thanks John! I appreciate that :)
The white sprey primer was super useful 👌
This video is awesome. Even loved the music. I'm excited to get a hold of Legion and painting them now. (I have never really played any minatures games let alone painted any).
Thanks! I'm sure you'll have a blast painting these up :)
One of the best videos I've ever seen on UA-cam! Very inspiring indeed. You're a true artist.
Thanks Oliver! That's very kind :)
I've been watching quite a few of your videos now Sorastro because they are so well produced and entertaining. A lot of hard work and high quality professionalism has gone into making them. Thank you for sharing your many talents and your teaching. Well done mate.
Thank you so much Pete! I truly appreciate the kind feedback 😊

Love your tutorials. Really happy that FFG has recognized your contribution to their games.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate that :)

Thanks a lot Shadewolfe! I really appreciate that :)
Great job! Awesome video! Really hope you do more Star Wars Legion painting guides, I've never painted before and really want to get into Legion!
+Jared Johnson Thanks a lot Jared! I've almost finished the next episode 😀
Please Continue the series! I love these videos and plan on starting painting when Legions arrive!
+Epitaph66 Thanks Epitaph! I've actually finished the next couple of episodes and am hoping to be able to release them soon.. :)
Sorastro's Painting Amazing, can’t wait!
Holy crap, thats some amazing work. I probably wouldnt watch a painting video that long normally, but i'm really glad i did. I'm looking forward to your take on the other characters, and if i buy Star Wars Legion trying to follow your guide.
+Colin Pickstone Thanks a lot Colin! I really appreciate that :)
Great video man ! I just began with painting miniatures for Warhammer 40k but this takes it to a new level. I can't wait for this game to be out and start painting it.
Thanks riconos! I'm glad you liked it - I can't wait to get the rest painted now :)
This was excellent! I remember long ago painting my IA storm troopers using your first video/guide and posting on the old FFG forum (you replied with a kind comment). I'm glad to have seen your skill and channel grow over the years my friend!
Thanks so much buddy! I really appreciate that 🤗
Wooooo new Star Wars game!!! I'm so flipping happy you got sponsored by FF! No one deserves it more IMHO.
Thanks a lot Jeremy! I really appreciate that (and all your other kind comments over the years!) :)
Brilliant guide, totally new to painting so will be using this in the future to paint my Legion miniatures.
Thank you Sky! I'm glad you found it useful. I can't wait to complete the set and get playing! :)
That OSl is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Fantastic work!
Thank you Cloneorder66! It's a pretty simple trick to pull off actually :)
Oh wow... that's one of the best OSL techniques I've seen.
Thanks Kai! It's a pretty simple but effective approach I think :)
Yup, just bought the glaze (and the rest from GW) :P
Lol...man my eyes are gonna get FRIED after painting my sqauds! Back to the old 40k days! Great review and guide!
+Judge Dredd the Law Ha ha - thanks Judge :)
Dude this is awesome! I'm gonna try my hand at painting when I get Star Wars: Legion
+Christian Gayle Thanks Christian! Go for it :)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you're enjoying the Star Wars videos :)
This is really quite fantastic... I am now playing your videos as a stress reducing technique.
Thanks Justin! I'm happy to hear that; I know some viewers who also use them to help them sleep at night :)
Thanks for introducing me to my new hobby. Very therapeutic.
+Jere Thank you Jere! I'm glad you're enjoying this awesome hobby :)
Brilliant painting guides so far for legion. Thank you very much.
Thank you Malte! The next couple of episodes should be coming to you very soon.. :)
Really looking forward to it. Can't wait to get my fingers on the minis. Hopefully i am able to paint them as beautiful as you did. :D
I'm sure they'll look great! :)
Once again amazing video! Very professional and excellent audio and mood music!
Thank you! I appreciate the kind feedback :)
It's great to see you working on this new game already! Some of our local gamers were just discussing this game on our clubs Facebook page.
Thanks Michael! :)
While I am primarily into painting fantasy miniatures, this was a stellar video. I appreciate you going into detail with the zenithol shading with the spray primers (since I don't own an airbrush). Keep it up!
Thanks a lot buddy! I'm really glad you liked it :)
Exceptional paint job, as ever. Congrats on getting the well-deserved recognition from FFG. I found your tutorials to be top-notch for IA and hope to continue following your guides for SW:L.
Thanks a lot Matt! Much appreciated :)
Congratulations Sorastro. Well deserved getting the new figure job. Great tutorial. I'll be following step by step.
Thanks a lot! :)
Great video!! Loved the idea of using different base coats using the zenithal highlights as a guide. Not a technique I've seen before but worked out great! Keep up the good work!
+Jeff McFaul Thanks a lot Jeff! I glad you liked it :)
Watching these for two reasons:
1. They’re BEAUTIFUL works of art you do, and I can only sit in awe and wonder how that light saber isn’t actually glowing....
2. I wish to steal your techniques for doll customs, my art of choice
Thank you so much 😄
Sorastro's Painting: I keep showing this video to people like “LOOK!!! LOOK AT THIS LOOK HOW GOOD!!! WHAT THE FUCK-“
Amazing video ! I have been having a hard time learning to paint minis, so this is extremely helpful. I am really excited for Star Wars Legion. Can't wait to see more videos !
+Rain Spider Thanks a lot Rain! I guess it can be a daunting hobby to get into; trust me though - it gets easier :)
OMG YOU GOT OFFICIALLY SPONSORED. OMG OMG. YOU DESERVE THE RECOGNITION! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Ha ha - thanks Remi. I do feel very honoured :)
I loved this and look forward to you painting more from Legion.
+Erik Harker Thanks a lot Erik! I'm looking forward to painting the rest of the minis too :)
Great miniature, but that paint job is something else! I’m really impressed by the video too, and got some great tips for basing. Also, those brushes look fantastic! Gotta hook me up with some of those.
Thanks a lot Michael! :D
I bought myself an early Christmas present. Since I often buy games and paint some of the minis and quit after the heroes, I’m going to follow these videos so everyone gets their due. Thank you again for doing these. You should check out the new lord of the rings boxed set. The figures would be right up your alley
Awesome! I actually painted a bunch of the LOTR minis quite a few years ago. One day I might get back into it... :)
Once again, a superb video tutorial :-D
I use airbrush thinners to thin some of my paints now, for wash/glaze purposes, which helps really well with the lighting effect highlights that you show us how to achieve.
I still wish you'd been around in the late 60's when I started model figure painting, as life would have been much more exciting than the black and white model making programme we had to watch on Saturday mornings, along with the odd Blue Peter terrain making episodes :-)
All the very best
Paul
Hope you don't mind, but I put a tip on straightening lightsabre blades in the comment box for your Obi Wan Kenobi tutorial video :-)
Thanks mate! I also much prefer this Luke to the (perfectly adequate) IA Luke :) Thanks for adding the extra tips too - much appreciated I'm sure :)
Looks great,. You are bringing me back into painting....
Thanks Francesco! Welcome back... :)
Wow!! Already!!! Very nice :) The mini looks great, per usual !
Thank you phyzycs :)
I've always really loved your videos. Citadel should sponsor you because I have bought many paints I see you use. Many videos I watch are of minis that I don't even own simply because I enjoy watching. Great work!
Thanks a lot Jacob! I really appreciate that and I'm glad you're enjoying the videos :)
Following your Vids since I started with SW IA and your Vids motivated me after nearly 25 years to start painting again.
Thanks for this fly back in time!
I especially love in this Vid how you describe the used colors & mixes ( I just noticed in this Vid that you ALWAYS thin your colors with water...gonna keep that in mind) :-)
I'm still hoping that you will grab a Dreadfleet mini maybe some day - would love to see how you would spread your art on Ships!
Cheers and keep up the good work!
+Sascha Wolf Thanks a lot Sascha! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
So great works..... You're begin to be very popular here in France due to your so wonderful work on Legion minis
Merci Frédéric! I really appreciate that :)
this is so crass of me, but I can't resist, Luke looks like a young Anakin during this tutorial :D. Great job painting Sorastro
Ha - thanks Lorri :)
My absolute inspiration. MASTER OF TABLETOPPAINTING
Too kind! Thank you though 😀
great video, I really like your approach to painting.
Thanks so much David! 🙂
Wow! One of your most impressive work. Thanks!
Thanks a lot Jay!
Very nice.
I thought the idea of using some Agrax of the leaf litter did a great job of adding some shadow under the miniature.
+john tailby Thanks John! I did that primarily to dull down some of the pale forest litter as it was a little distracting to the eye, but you're right - it does provide a subtle bit of shade :)
how big are those models compared to the Imperial Assault. its a shame the ranges are not compatible.
Congratulations on FFG's recognition of your talents (unless I'm mistaken) There's no way I'd ever get into this (or any other Warhammer-like) game, but I love watching your tutorials nonetheless. Another amazingly helpful episode!
Thanks HarzerMichael! Much appreciated :)
amazing work... I like the phrase "you can stop here... but I'm going to go a little further". Way ahead Fantasy flight demo set at gencon. Thanks for all the pro tips on this one, hope to do it half well.
+ramdais19 Thanks a lot ramdais19! I'm sure you'll do great with your Luke 😀
Thanks for making such a great beginner friendly guide. I've never done anything like this before, but Legion is making me consider it. I'd say I'm wanting to give it a try, but as we know from the wisdom of Master Yoda there is no try.
Ha ha - very true. Just do it! :)
Love the videos!!! So jealous that u r able to handle these miniatures so early!!! Goes to show u how amazing u r.
Thanks a lot ocarlo3! I do feel very privileged :)
Man I love the effort gone into this video! I've just subbed to keep up to date.
Thank you sir! Much appreciated :)
I don't even have any miniatures to paint, at the moment, but I still loved this video.
Thank you sir! I really appreciate that :)
Great video, man. I'll be watching these to get some tips when I get my hands on SW:L minis.
Cheers Tim! I'm glad you liked it :)

THANKS FOR POSTING! You are my favorite online painter, period Brother Of The Stars... lol! I am looking forward to seeing your further adventures in painting this game.... BIG 🌟💜❗
Thanks a lot Joe! For the first time ever I'll be able to paint the entire set before it even hits the shelves :)
But will you? :P
The GLORY Continues...
He will.
I find your lack of faith disturbing... :)
I've waited years for star wars paintable minis like this. And I finally realise they've been out for years.
I need these.
Great guide! Also congrats on your collaboration with FFG. :)
BTW - have you ever considered making series about specific areas of painting hobby?
OK, looking forward to your new videos. :)
vojtasjedyny Great suggestion!
Thanx for sharing this - have tried to achieve the lighting effect in the past... never came out really good but your idea seams really cool... will give it a try
+HTL World Thank you! It's a pretty simple but effective approach to OSL :)
Will give it a try :)
Oh man this channel is so informative and professional. Thank you for this!!!
Thank you so much :D
Congratulations on having FFG tap you to do their painting tutorials. I've enjoyed your work for years, both the painting and video work.👍
+Kyle Dellinger Thanks a lot Kyle! I'm glad you're still enjoying my videos :)
Great tutorial, hope to see more from this line. Liked and Subscribed!
+Brent Russell Thanks Brent! Oh there will me much more on this game from me.. :)
Great video like always! Thank you for the many lessons!
Thank you Joshua! You're most welcome :)
Tho an older video, sadly the glazes are out of stock, you can ofc make your own. But what other ink/glaze/wash would you recommend when making light effects from various sources. Thanks for the video, you've really shown me another way of painting. Thanks
Hope we will see a painting guide for CMON' s "A Song of Ice and Fire: miniatures game". Of course when it comes out.
There's a good chance you'll see at least one or two videos from me on that :)
Sorastro's Painting great to hear. Can't wait to see :)
