I mean Mk 2 does have multiple notable new features you gotta worry about such as the drill attack, the fact the hands can detach, and most importantly of all the “crowdfunded” attack
I think the option to switch to the OG music let them go all out on creating completely new motifs for each world. Because everything in X-Naut Fortress being a rave is genius.

Grodus: "Gaaack ack ack ack ack! My plan is working perfectly! That buffoon Crump spent so much time upgrading his robot's soundtrack that he forgot to improve its defense! Soon, I, Grodus, shall rule the world!"

This fight oof. First time I got KOd in the game. Lol he vacuums the audience and spits them back...yeaaaah I wasn't ready for that. Beat him the second go at it though.
My first time playing, I cheesed this fight and all of the following ones with a low-hp *extremely high damage* build I really gotta look up how these battles are supposed to go because two to three turns is not enough to see all the good stuff!
Definitely doesn’t fit the vibe. We’re supposed to be fighting an enhanced mech capable of shredding us to pieces. Instead, it’s a Tekken battle theme. Edit: Before you reply, know that I love the TTYD remake. This is one of the few songs that I dislike. Thanks to the Paper Mario fans being Paper Mario fans and getting bitter at any opinion that’s not their own. I don’t like you people.
@@Goomba456 I wouldn’t say that. It had electronic instrumentation to fit the high-tech area as well as being more fast-paced to invoke the feeling of raiding a massive fortress. It also didn’t sound like rave music, so that helps.
@@imjustalittleqwerty fair, though that seems to have generally been the direction they went with for the entire area (ie the remixes of the quiz themes, the battle theme, etc). They seem to base remix themes off of the original combined with the battle theme variant, such as chapter 5's very final fight. As to why they went with music of such energy, I'm not exactly sure. It seems to take inspiration off of the color splash inverted battle theme. I guess it could also be inspired by the battle trainer in origami king? Either way, i guess you can always use the nostalgic tunes badge if you prefer to listen to the original in this fight, it WAS added as an extra theme after all.

You can’t ruin what is new though. This is a completely new battle. Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 never existed in the OG game. You fight Magnus Von Grapple twice in the remake and this is it’s second theme.
fun fact: if you hear this with headphones you can hear electricity sounds in the headphones. and it totally wont make you think your headphones are going to explode.
Crump spent so much time on remixing his boss theme he couldn’t upgrade his mech further than slapping a giant 2 on it
And I respect him for it.
It was so rave-y that it somehow made MVG-2.0 even stronger.
When Crump said that a DOZEN upgrades were made, I didn't think they'd be to the robot's stereo of all things. But it definitely paid off.

It's actually the third time. The second is when you fight Lord Crump and his platoon in Chapter 5. But your chills are more than justified.
The “GoFundMe” award for the Magnus von Grapple 2.0 is certainly the most impressive interactive element for all his supporters!
Tell me Lord Crump: how did you afford all of this?
Crump: "Crowdfunding"
Mario off on the side in a full body cast: "F**k Y*u!!
I'm genuinely surprised Crump didnt invest in a bass cannon, with how much R A V E he's giving off
