I love how each theme ramps up in intensity.
I just beat the Pit for the first time in my life yesterday (first try on remake, no retries. Didn't even know they added retries for the Pit until I went back in). SO many close calls, I can't believe I pulled through. But the music for Bonetail was amazinggggg
Bonetail's theme has the biggest upgrade!

did the whole pit yesterday for the first time and, dude yeah
The only enemies down there i remember not having an issue with were those while bats, and that was only because of zap tap
The fear that entered my body when i saw 2 amazy dazees in a single battle is unforgettable..
This is exactly what i needed.
there's a part of Bonetail's battle theme that reminds me of the lategame enemy phase theme of shadows of valentia... has those eerie chanting vocals
I went through the pit twice so far - once for a trouble, the extra bag space, and bump attack. For my most recent (and successful) run just now, I decided on the Danger strat, stacking the attack and evasion buffs like I’m a glass cannon. And it worked! Only got hit two or three times, and one of those times was against Bonetail. I’ll get more power rushes before I make another run for the new secret boss.
Everyone seems to prefer Bonetail's version, but personally I prefer Gloomtail's version.

i was attempting the pit of 100 trials for the first time on the remake, and i had only one hp for mario with no healing items. but i somehow managed to defeat bonetail. (after my tenth try)
I want a mash up
I'll consider it, but I want to get through all of the other battle tracks first.
