I saw a comment ages ago about Peppino having the energy of either several baby seals crying hysterically or several instances of the Navy Seals Copypasta played at once at ear splitting volume. I can't remember who said that, or what video it's from, but it stuck with me till this very day.
I love the last phase so much, instead of it being like a more standard final phase where it’s harder, it’s more of an adrenaline rush and it’s just great beating the absolute crap out of everyone, you can just feel how done peppino is with the crap he’s had to deal with.
This ending has been the most cathartic ending to any video game I've played in a long time. Watching Peppino and Gustavo go absolutely ham on all of the prior bosses is the fucking best way to end this game.

Man was terrified with Brick when Peppino wasn't looking yet came to help in the end, and despite Peppino using Gustavo as free ammo my man was more than willing to offer himself as ammo again and again. Gustavo is the kind of loyal one should always strive to be. Either that or he's secretly a masochist. That works too.
The end of the third phase always gets me, it just represents the moment so well. Considering the game has been in development for what was almost the past 5 years, after seeing the same characters for so long finally being fought off in a battle of epic proportions, putting them in their place, you finally match off against the unexpected opponent (who laughably takes it quite casually by the looks of it). The song transitions from a sheer level of intensity into a melody of triumph, that of which essentially marks off the end of Peppino’s long-winded journey (a five year purgatory to what was once a never-ending tower of pizza before it’s full release). Don’t want to stretch this comment out too long, but man, the devs really nailed it with this ending. Definitely inspiring.
Phase 3 is so fucking epic. Form peppino’s scream of rage rather than fear, to the epic pummeling of each boss 4 hp at a time, to the fucking super pile driver from space that he gives pizzahead, just a perfect final boss.
The first time I saw the second phase it gave me little goosebumps after seeing how "Powerful" the boss was by just shaping the moon with his face with no effort. It was like seeing a cosmic horror toying with Peppino
this makes the relief of Peppino beating the ever-living shit out of Pizza-Head ( final boss ) so much better. Just a random Italian guy who likes making pizza, losing it and going absolute apeshit on a literal cosmic horror changing his form to a pizza man, so we can comprehend it
The feeling of tossing Gustavo around like a rag doll and fucking emulsifying the bosses in the third phase make you feel so damn powerful, truly, Nothing Compares!
The third phase literally predicts what you feel ("bro, another phase? REMATCH WITH THE 5 BOSSES?!) and makes Peppino feel exactly the same to the point at which both of you just use the gamer rage to beat the living hell out of everything in sight
Literally just did this earlier today and I've gotta say that exact thought was going through my head, so seeing Peppino also break at the idea and just start beating the Christ out of all the boss rematches was so therapeutic. Just screaming in my head "KILL EM!" through the whole thing. Such an amazing game.
Phase 1: Epic Final Boss music for the big fight with Pizzaface Phase 2: Devolves into insanity when the villain is revealed to be Pizza Boy, and uses his insane attacks against you Phase 3: The epic rock kicks back up when Peppino gets his second wind against the bosses Really awesome escalation on this theme!

Totino/Pizzahead is such a weird but fun final boss! If my belief that he was originally the hero of another game where Peppino was his rival is correct, he really does seem like a cheerful hero who decided to become a villain out of pettiness or a grudge, but lacks the actual personality or drive to make an effort, which extends to his casual boss behaviour. According to TV Tropes, he just gave the Noid and Pepperman places to stay so they wouldn't bother him or destroy the tower, and tricked the Vigilante into thinking Peppino was the bad guy, so Totino really seems like not that cruel or serious of a bad guy, just a pizza boy with a grudge and a bit of insanity!
Also, I hope the devs bring back Pizzahead's scrapped ″angry/enraged″ phase from the files for a EX/hard mode boss fight, even if it goes against Totino's canon personality. It's already satisfying enough to pummel a goofy pizza clown who won't take you seriously, but PIZZING HIM OFF beforehand? That's even better! Plus, we could get a wacky, even more intense remix of his boss tune, and it'd make for a great ″final rival battle″ judging from how his scrapped sprites mirror Peppino's moveset in certain ways!

I would've loved to see Pizzahead's scrapped angry phase, as it'd be such a great roval to Peppino's rage, but I can respect the devs' decision to keep his personality consistent. I do hope they change their mind at some point and give him that angry phase for a hard mode, boss rush mode (ala Kirby's ″Soul″ fights), or even as a surprise twist for when the Noise is played as (I wonder how the third phase boss rush will work for him, since he doesn't have Peppino's anxiety or pent-up Italian Rage?)

The game never says you died or even implies it (minus the war death screen.) peppino is an immortal god that feeds off anxiety and rage.
I'm loving the extreme contrast between protagonist and antagonist, Peppino incredibly infuriated and hellbent to save his restaurant. Pizza mascot having fun and treating it like a sick game with his cartoonish, wacky demeanor.
I went into this game knowing pretty much nothing about it. I didn't even know it was in development. I just watched some Wario video right around the time this game came out, and heard good things about Pizza Tower so I picked it up, and was completely floored by how unnecessarily hard the entire soundtrack in this game went, especially these last few songs
If I had a Nickel for every game I've seen that featured a final boss fight that had a floating face, involved the 4 other bosses of the game, a wacky mismatched middle part to the battle, and a feeling of satisfaction from just being able to obliterate things, I'd have two Nickels. It's not that it's a common thing, it's just weird that it's happened twice.

The ending fight was 6000x more epic than I was expecting, and I'd already decided that Pizza Tower was my game of the century before it, then it just goes -manically fast and complicated- with Pizzahead's phase before Pep going absolutely insane to legendary proportions, what an experience, what a game 👏
Peppino is done with this, it’s not all cartoony and trolling, he went through hell and back just to fight a looney tunes rip off, so he’s gonna destroy anything in his way to destroy him and the pizza tower
If there was dialogue, I like to think the thing that sent him over the edge was pizza face saying something About facing them all together or he'll have his restaurant shut down for health violation. Pepino asks what happened to blowing up his restaurant? And then pizza face asking "What laser?" And then he realizes he just wasted his time fighting through this entire Tower during Sunday and he missed lunch rush. The most profitable point of this week, gone, over a prank. He is DONE.
The music in this game is fucking mental, I've kept up with it the past few years and its not disappointed, that transition from the really creepy old-timey style to that nasty ass guitar riff at 4:23 is awesome, and the entirety of phase 3 is gorgeous too
Pizzahead kinda gives off some Joker vibes, the dude tries to mess with and kill Peppino for no other reason besides him having a restaurant. He acts cartoonish but has underlying sinner intentions.

Tezcatlipoca (Fate/Grand Order) Last Engage (Fire Emblem Engage) Vs. Dark Falz AEGIS (Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis) THIS MASTERPIECE ...Yeah, definitely a good year for final bosses, and we've only just started!
I like the 1st phase is the final boss music that every game has while phase 2 is sounds like the music that starts playing when you take drugs while phase 3 is the true final boss.
I think that most characters here have toon force to some degree,like pepinno,he runs impossibly fast in impossibly goofy looking style,he slaps impossibly fast impossibly strong and goofy as well Gustavo is just mario but a real italian And etc.

Unexpectancy part 3 is literally my favorite ost ever. I get such a intense feeling when I hear it, and it’s only better when you hear it in the game. Masterpiece

The music in this game is fucking mental, I've kept up with it the past few years and its not disappointed, that transition from the really creepy old-timey style to that nasty ass guitar riff at 4:23 is awesome, and the entirety of phase 3 is gorgeous too

Pizzahead kinda gives off some Joker vibes, the dude tries to mess with and kill Peppino for no other reason besides him having a restaurant. He acts cartoonish but has underlying sinner intentions.

This game did not need to go nearly this hard, but I'm so glad it did.
I like the 1st phase is the final boss music that every game has while phase 2 is sounds like the music that starts playing when you take drugs while phase 3 is the true final boss.
