The special effects shots are top notch in this episode and all the different color spectrum that we got to see looked amazing. This show is the best Superman TV show we’ve had. Superman Prime, Christopher Reeve reference. Love what they’re doing with the boys. Evil Superboy was dressed like Superboy from the Death of Superman comics. Tal Ro saying he was the Eradicator. Lots of little Easter eggs 🥚. Love to see where they’re going next with the show.
Tyler Hoechlin is THE best Superman and Clark Kent, you never feel like he's faking emotions they feel natural. I just hope the 3rd season is as good or better.
You never feel it cuz he’s wearing glasses. The best mask in the world. Yeah same hope for season 3, but I can imagine something like The Death Of Superman or the new Bizzaro Superman, cuz it has reached it’s peak where everything is really great, people love Superman, Jordan learning to use his powers, Tal is good now, John Henry is happy with his daughter. Maybe they could start the season 3 (if it will exist) by Jordan in his new suit
Usually in most shows when characters say they'll "always be honest from now on," I know that won't last any more than a couple episodes. Yet, when Superman says it, I believe it.
It's so funny how Clark's message to the boys before getting yeeted to the sun was "Don't lose hope" and Jordan said "HE'S GONNA DIE" when he met Grampa Lane again xD
It was great to see a live-action version of just how powerful a sun-dipped Superman is; I'm guessing that they devoted a huge part of their visual effects budget for this episode! Tyler Hoechlin's portrayal of Superman was spot on and makes you believe that this is what a Superman in real life would be like.
arguably, ally alston never could have gotten as far as she did without the enablement of lucy lane. lucy got off pretty easy from helping bring superman right into ally's clutches and kicking off the whole global extinction event in the first place.

I hope they play it like they did in the animated series. Don't tip their hand till the very end, with Kanto and Manheim escaping in a boom tube. Even people who haven't read the comics, or seen the cartoons, are going to know what a boom tube looks like from Justice League.
It's been an amazing season 2, and this finale was epic and very cinematic. The warmth and side story touches were great. I love the way the show has elevated Superman back to his super sayan status. Great reaction guys, and it was a pleasure viewing your reactions, which are the best in the business! Love you guys, great work and analysis.
Damn this show is so good, this show gets Superman & that comes across in how they write for Clark, super charged Superman might be the most badass supermen moment ever put to screen, I liked the callback to Clark making a new fortress on water, now it’s a ling wait until season 3
This episode had so many visually stunning sequences and great character emotional beats. I like how we have some small hints at season 3 stories but like season 1 this is a self contained story. Intergang likely an ongoing story as that also links back to the comments made by Lois earlier in the season that someone big was funding the X-K operation, looks like as Chrissie knows the secret we'll have some reporter Clark again, also there was something slightly off with Lois questioning Ally that made me wonder if something happened with her & Bizarro Lois when the worlds reset, Jon starting to learn about Kryptonian tech and the family fortress. I've said it before but the casting of Tyler and Bitsie has worked perfectly, I've loved the development of John Henry & Natalie. I think if this show is going to spin off any characters it should be them but I'd hate to lose them from here, I also think this show will be the one to set up Diggle's 'Justice U' spin off and maybe send Tag off with him. Setting this show as another universe and not earth prime makes so much sense and opens up possibilities whereas being on earth prime closes down so many stories. The show can now avoid the constant "where's x, y, z hero' when anything occurs, when realistically with the status of the AV shows and actors being done with it we know they're not going to show up, so I'm happy to see this show do it's own thing.
Loved this. Just made me smile so much. Superman getting recharged in the sun, the “Take some more” to the slam into the earths. Just great Superman content, and the show has so much more on top of that.
just an inside joke, since Clark does not have his powers, hence his super speed. Did he change his clothes in middle of the flight where Tal was flying him to the sun? Damn, that would have been hella funny brotherhood moment, Clark changing his clothes mid air in front of Tal, MISSED OPPORTUNITY....LOL
The most powerful live action superhero we've ever got. The acting is pretty amazing and just the whole family stories are so well written. Definitely didn't enjoy Ally as villain the whole season, but overall especially after the last 2 episodes she was still a pretty good villain!
Just finish doing our reaction and yooo we have about the same reaction in certain scenes. Keep up the great work!!!! I got some serious comic artwork vibes from that visual. If I saw that on the shelf I would buy that issue immediately LOL!! It was so cool!! Lucy zero consequences smh!!! I think that Tal wants to have love and a family like Kal which is why he went to Bizarro World. How he got there is beyond me if they destroyed the portal but he went to find out his wife’s name and I think he will return to earth to find her. Explains why Lana wouldn’t take Kyle back. The setup is clear. I know Jordan has powers and all but was anyone else surprised everyone was ok sending Jordan into space after Tal? Jordan heard him screaming and they sent the 15 year old. This was the lady that took out clark. LMBO. Good thing Jordan had his plot armor and wasn't turned into a husk by Ally The weirdest thing is Tal and Jordan has access to Ally in outer space yet Natalie had to go through the portal with her pod. But overall I enjoyed the season, its not perfect but better than alot of other DCTV shows.
The glowing Superman slamming into the ground to separate the 2 worlds should be made into a poster. What's that company...Displate? They need to get on that rn.
All I know is that now that this is over, can you imagine the class action lawsuit that Ally is going to have filed against her? In addition, is State Farm going to cover all the damage?

While there are some loose ends this finale and show as a whole is the best DC show released since the Early days of arrow and Tyler is the best Superman (besides Henry)
@Christopher Braxton I don't think that they're both different supermen from different worlds, way different times in their lives, different experiences, different families both are different and S&L showrunners are also big fans of MOS and it shows in the visuals and action choreography. Personally I don't care about comparisons I love them both Snyder movies showed the real struggle of being superman in the early years and has the best superman action+visuals, this show shows the acceptance and heroism of superman in 20+ years of his superhero career.
@Christopher Braxton So in other words you prefer the direction Helbing went with vs the direction Snyder went with. Both actors can pull off the character but whether which is better written is up to the creative team. Personally I wouldn’t compare this Superman to DCEU Superman since this one has 20 years of experience while DCEU was only Superman for less than 2 years and plus both Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder said in interviews that the character was supposed to move into a more brighter more accurate direction after his resurrection since hope was restored.
Every talking about how good or rushed the episode was, I'm still hung up on the fact that Tal-Ro change Clark into his super suit on the way to the sun.
I'm just laughing that Ally's motivation was pretty much the same as Jared Padalecki when he stopped all the trains in Europe. "Welp, I've already broken the glass, might as well push the button."
@@deleila_charlie2068 This was years ago. Close to 9/11. Just search for Jared stops trains story on UA-cam. The actors tell the story themselves on how he did it. Correction: apparently it was in 2012
@@Heroesfullyalive I just looked it up and again, Europe isn't a country. He stopped the trains in my country apparently but only at the station in Amsterdam alone. Not whole of Netherlands and definitely not whole of Europe.
What if Diggle is travelling between worlds? He had that odd line at 23:44, "Nothing. But from what I can tell, on this Planet, Bruno Manhiem is the person who killed JHI," as if he himself is somehow unfamiliar with "this planet". What if Arrowverse ARGUS is overseeing the known multiverse [Cisco is Director of Technology and Science for A.R.G.U.S. after all]. That would neatly tie in all the season 1 references to the Arrowverse and explain why Clark, Lois, and Sam know things they shouldn't, I think S1E1 they specifically namedropped J'onn J'onzz, and why the DOD handles all supe related stuff.
@@leonardodeoliveira1921 well they showed the willingness to be flexible with story telling. Another simple explanation is he said on this planet, because he was talking to someone who wasn't from this earth. And giving him information about things "on this planet".
@@leonardodeoliveira1921 So why not say "our world" or "But from what I can tell, Bruno Manhiem is the person who killed our JHI,"? Instead, he sounds like one outsider talking to another.
something just ocurred to me i had not thought of prior i wonder if that kids "its dad" , lois, "its clark", lana "its superman" was in refernce to the origingal times when people saw him in the sky "its a bird... Its a plane... its SUPERMAN!
"Clark's only worked at the daily planet" says the lady at a small no name paper that only still exists because Lois put the other half from the sale of her and Clark's home.
I felt like the pacing in this episode was a bit too fast. Like they were trying to get through everything really quickly. Aside from that, the episode had a lot of amazing scenes.
Really getting that Lois merged vibe (and we get Isis Superwoman next season). Lois was acting a bit different when she went to see the Ally’s and when Bizarro Lois was speaking, Lois instantly knew what she said.
I think my only problem with the show was the lack of Johnathan Kent. After his arc in the middle of the season it’s like he’s been pushed to the side. Another thing that bugged me was that Nats suit was said to be made for John.
Just something i was wondering about, in the first season first episode, they stated the Jordan had emotional issue, emotional outbursts, will they ever bring that up again?
19:54 Yeahhhh, she's gonna tell everyone... _"OMG girl, guess what?? You gotta promise not to tell anyone okay, or else I'll get into some really big trouble..."_ Clark's secret identity is f*cked. 😂
It's pretty clear that this show was meant to be part of Earth-Prime Arrowverse initially. If they never intended for it being Earth Prime, they wouldn't have kept the same actors likely, especially not for Lucy who was only ever in Supergirl season 1. Let's not forget the planned Supergirl & Batwoman crossover in Season 1 that never went anywhere because of covid which then they made up for with the first David Ramsey cameo. If I had to guess, I'd say WB forced them to make it it's own thing because they've noticed the decline with other Arrowverse properties and likely want to keep this show as the flagship show beyond just the "CW standard". As someone who's watched Arrowverse since before it was a "verse" in 2012, it's extremely disappointing to see what has happened to the shows recently with the decisions of the higher ups, things just haven't been the same since Crisis & Covid and this decision to split away S&L feels like the final nail in the coffin for the Arrowverse era.

After circling the world and landing on it he returns to Smallville and I noticed that the suit looks a lot better less muscle passing and no creases
This show is the best superman anything I e ever seen.
Guys have you noticed that they sorta revealed that this is a different world within the arrowverse. Superman is not on Earth-Prime.
Clark called it blipped back and the planes etc crashing. such a great haha MCU blip call out.
Really hoping they react to season 3 after that finale.
Season 3 is missing.... I just finished it and I was excited to see the reactions.
That shot at 16:47 was AMAZING
It's a little unsettling that Tal knows where Clark keeps his suit! 😆
Yes! I was thinking that! Like....how did he know?
"It's working! It's working!" 🤣So wizard.
Tyler is definitely the best Clark Kent we've ever gotten
Jonathan: "Jordan's seasick"
Jordan: "No I'm not"
Best Superman ever!
That shot was epic and the best shot in the whole show.
I swear this is one of the few channels that reacts to this underrated show
I liked that Tyler/Clark/Superman, was wearing Christopher/Clark/Superman Reeves' knitted cardigan from from S2 at the end.. nice.
Every talking about how good or rushed the episode was, I'm still hung up on the fact that Tal-Ro change Clark into his super suit on the way to the sun.
Making Tal Ro basically Bizarro DC Loki in his own way is very cool
OMG Superman got barbecued lol 😂 he flew out all crispy
I really liked this season and the season finale was great overall 👏🏼❤️
This is the closest we got to Superman Prime! Holy Crap!
Still waiting for Season 3
I'm just laughing that Ally's motivation was pretty much the same as Jared Padalecki when he stopped all the trains in Europe.
"Welp, I've already broken the glass, might as well push the button."
You do realize Europe is not a country right? I live in the Netherlands which is in Europe but no trains were stopped here by a Jared.
You gotta come back to this show, season.3 is great
What if Diggle is travelling between worlds?
Per the executive producer this is an all new and different Diggle unique to this earth
He said on this planet because John isn't from this earth originally. The arrowverse sucks ass, thank God they got rid of most of its shows.
What an amazing episode!
12:27 literally when you said that the song was playing in my head by powerman 5000
That new Fortress of Solitude must not be near at shipping lanes and air routes tho.
"Clark's only worked at the daily planet" says the lady at a small no name paper that only still exists because Lois put the other half from the sale of her and Clark's home.
Yeah, that part seemed off to me, otherwise, a great episode and great series.
4:26 Nat walking away like, great, another not mom. I gotta find dad.
While i like this season they need to get their release strategy sorted
My favorite superman 🔥
I had the same thought about the ocean life and it now will be extremely obvious to find.
I felt like the pacing in this episode was a bit too fast. Like they were trying to get through everything really quickly. Aside from that, the episode had a lot of amazing scenes.
You both made this so fun to watch
Thank you and see u2 next year
He's Sun dipped superman in this one
Really getting that Lois merged vibe (and we get Isis Superwoman next season). Lois was acting a bit different when she went to see the Ally’s and when Bizarro Lois was speaking, Lois instantly knew what she said.
I think she was just acting that way due to Lucy. She wanted reassurance that she was right all along and that Lucy wouldn’t feel whole after merging.
probably my second favourite character is Tal, third is director Lane!
the ne fortress is definetly in the bermuda triangle like it was once was in the comics
Wtf was that curve at the end clark did on lois💀😂
If anything fails just throw me into the sun, luv it
This show is CW at it's best.
I think my only problem with the show was the lack of Johnathan Kent. After his arc in the middle of the season it’s like he’s been pushed to the side. Another thing that bugged me was that Nats suit was said to be made for John.
Closest we will ever get to SUPERMAN PRIME ONE MILLION💯🙌😎🔥✅🤙
Would that fortress be considered a barrier island? 😂 Sorry, but Google Maps is already all over that!!!
Just something i was wondering about, in the first season first episode, they stated the Jordan had emotional issue, emotional outbursts, will they ever bring that up again?
It is still a CW show. They solve characters problems in 1 episode.
If DC is looking for a new superman ! ther he is ! love it
Slowest Lane!! Hilarious!
19:54 Yeahhhh, she's gonna tell everyone...
_"OMG girl, guess what?? You gotta promise not to tell anyone okay, or else I'll get into some really big trouble..."_
Clark's secret identity is f*cked. 😂
is it me, or do we sometimes not realize they’re twins?!?🤣🤣😭
