Please make that a user. Whatever Spartan does with their s45 is absolute magic. It is by far the best steel I've ever used (haven't beat on my magnacut knives much yet). I have beat the hell out of mine and no rolls, no chips, no nothing. It still has a great working edge, stropped it a few times but that is it. You have to use the hell out of it to see how good that s45 performs. What a great gift.
I wanna say get them sewed into something to give away at 500k or 1mil. A shirt would be cool but that might be hard due to people being different sizes
I've got 3 of these suckers. I frequently EDC my 3.25" plain Ti one, then have a full size Warthog and full size Spartan Girl with damascus blade. Absolutely artistic and quality built pieces.
Spartan Horkos was my first SERIOUS knife and I still have it. The people at Spartan are so accommodating and have taken great care of me over the years. They stand by thier great products. 110% reccomend. 💚
I LOVE my SHF, as soon as I saw the Plague Doctor version I grabbed one to commemorate the passing of my father the same year. I don’t normally use paracord on folders but for this added a lanyard with Plague Doctor head and it really finishes it off!!
You can tell the qualities of a man by those he surrounds himself with. You do unending giveaways and presents and expect nothing. Of course you get a unreal present from a fan. No strings attached. Enjoy!
You can’t fault some people win a gift, give a gift that really is a very generous gesture. Especially when it’s a Harsey one I have always wanted but settled for a Talos £106 was a lot easier to handle than a Harsey at £499.99. But as we knife collecting nuts know the itch is still not scratched tidy so at the end of the day the £500 will have to get spent lol. Have a beautiful day/night M_C, stay safe and healthy brother 🫵🏻😘👍🏼
Congrats and thanks to the generous viewer that you have one. I have a couple of plain Ti with bronze hardware and Damascus blades, a large Spartan Babe, and a Large Plague doctor. The Doc and one of the small ones (both with lanyard, sorry MC) have been regular users for me.
Welcome to the club :) I love my Harsey. anodised purple and bronze hardware, chad nicols damascus. They are underlooked. Also have to say Spartan are an absolute pleasure to buy from and deal with. They feel substantial and rock solid.
Was able to find a Plague Doctor model a while back. Love carrying and using it because it reminds me of the ups and downs of 2020 during Covid and how far we've all come. Plus, when people see the design, their jaws always drop, haha. Not afraid to carry and use what's considered "pocket art." They are a prime example of how to do it the right way. They went to Chris Reeve and Bill Harsey and learned. Such nice knives and one hell of a donation! Wow! Congratulations, M.C!
So I'm dipping my toe into American blades. I've been trying to decide between the shf and the xm-18. Easy decision since the Spartan was available and the Hinderer I want wasn't. Ordered the Harsey and signed up for notifications for the XM-18s that I like. Congrats and thanks for the content
I have a "full dress" Custom Spartan Harsey Folder. Really fantastic besides the edge termination and the Hinderer style clip, but otherwise fantastic. You can front flip it too!
i can see what you mean by its like a mix of hinderer and unumzaan... Doesnt quite do it for me... Something about it is that just doesnt stand out at all...
I was studying this Spartan Harsey very closely and came to the conclusion " in my opinion " that it is actually a cross breed of the Hinderer xm-18 3.5, the Chris Reeves Sabenza AND the Strider. I think the the Spartan Harsey is a perfect blend of all three, it is an awesome knife and I will own one one day...also, do you know of anyone that has an extra bearing/washer set with instruction card for a Hinderer XM-18 3.5? I recently bought a Hinderer XM-18 and it didn't have any with it. Thanks MC. Bluetooth Blades.
I've been wanting a Spartan Harsey for a long time but every time i get close to having the money something else pops up that i want and i buy it, I'll get one eventually
I have the Damascus Fir Tree version and I don’t know what is wrong with it, but it isn’t right. Or if it is, then it’s not for me. It always feels like the lock bar decides to slides a bit further after locking up if I don’t slow roll it. It’s very hard to explain. But I can’t friggin stand it.
That skid was minimally offensive. You might want to stop punishing yourself with that card. You finally got a good sound out of it. The skid the bounce and just the poor presentation of it all 8
Kick ass knife and I love the color. Have not had the honor of handling one of those but I’m hoping to some day! Congratulations on the acquisition and I hope it treats you well!

Hey if I wanted to send you a knife to review how would I go about that

We need a cleaning cloth collection video just for fun. Even if it's a goofy short dramatically showing a huge pile of cleaning cloths 😂
Thread counts or it doesn't count.

Yes!!!
I second this motion.

Guys like Rich are what make the Knife Community amazing, I salute you sir.

I wish I never got rid of mine. It's such a beast of a knife. Has the best action on a framelock imo
NC in the house!! My buddy lit lives about 200 yrds away from Spartan. Awesome customer service!!!
That looks sick! I would replace the silver hardware with bronze ones.
That was very generous of you, Rich!

Thank you so much to the viewer who donated this. Very kind. Love the spartans

I have the 3 1/4 and I love it. I've been carrying it for 2 years and use it and don't hold back and it still looks like it just came out of the box.
I have a "full dress" Custom Spartan Harsey Folder.
Really fantastic besides the edge termination and the Hinderer style clip, but otherwise fantastic.
You can front flip it too!
I have the exact version, by far its my favorite edc. I choose it over my Large Sebenza 31, Hinderer, Mcnees, ect..
This black version is available at rivers edge right now. Its unbelievable that its cheaper than the the benchmade narrows.
it really isn't unbelievable at this point lmao
i can see what you mean by its like a mix of hinderer and unumzaan... Doesnt quite do it for me... Something about it is that just doesnt stand out at all...
I have the "Plague Doctor" Special edition. These are awesome knives!
The 3.25 inch is awesome for edc. I have two of them and still want more
Kinda bad QC to be missing a screw 😆. Still, I love my Harsey and my older Lone Wolf Harsey.
weight saving tip
How much did your George CTS-XHP cost? Has the value of the knife gone up from MSRP?
Break in period is long but the payoff is soooo cool smooooooth. Literally bearing type smoothness. I have a plague dr s45vn

Very very nice looking knife. Congratulations MC, you deserve it.
I've been wanting a Spartan Harsey for a long time but every time i get close to having the money something else pops up that i want and i buy it, I'll get one eventually
There are some sick variants of this knife, but the plain ones are really nice.
I have a 4in harsey and I love it. It’s a tank.
I personally have thee st Michael.defend us in battle… these knives are absolute tanks.
Holding out for one of the new “Flourishes” models
While you were looking for your scale i thought it probably weighs around 6 ounces
Is this model available?
Yes, I picked one up a couple wks ago. I’ve seen them on a few sites since
@@ronin8490 thank you
Nice 👌Good ol American built knife 🤙
I'll leave all those and take my 3.5 Mac 2!!
I'm getting one!

Card slap 7/10
Wow pays to have good friends!
I just got my Spartan Harsey S. E. DiVince MagnaCut folder. I'm going to take to bed with me tonight if the wife doesn't find out.
8.5 on the slap.
Yours looks like it's missing a screw in the stand-off by the lanyard hole
Thst slap was almost like the one simpsons episode the guy sells a car to homer just doing a sound like wutiiisch
I really wish they would do a 3.5” version. Their small is too small the the large is illegal to carry in state as it is run by tyrants.
There is a 3.25"
@@Uriah_Lost “their small is too small”?
@@Strow1stofHisName I misread. Sorry.
I’ve beat the absolute shit out of my SFH. By far my heaviest user, I absolutely love it.
VERY nice.
No, I’ve said this before and I’m gonna say it again there is a 12 step program for this type of stuff 😂
For that cost, missing a screw and no sharpening choil?!?
For $3 Hinderer will sell you a screw - I wonder if Spartan will do it for free?
That smacked hard af
7 on the slap
It is so Spartan it doesn't even want all it's hardware 😂
Excellent daily user!
Homie took out the screw so the knife would weigh 6.00 OZ exactly 🤯
For the algorithm. 🤙
9.75 slap
I.P tracking you is so E-Z, should maybe use a VPN
That skid was minimally offensive. You might want to stop punishing yourself with that card. You finally got a good sound out of it. The skid the bounce and just the poor presentation of it all 8
Neat
Yeah, I just CAN'T buy anymore knives. National knife day is killing me 😢
Your missing a screw
Got an extra 👍
ummm no sharpening choil, missing parts ? .....no thanks.....OnWard.........
It wasn't a gift to you. Also it was free. Also the sender sent me the screw a day later. I mean what even is this comment?
@metal_complex lol maybe they think you should return it and get your zero dollars back. 😂
@@jasonsanchez0 ikr? Lol. Dude said "no thanks" as if someone was making an offer to him lol
