    21 turbo s full spring kit with R.I.S . Took my car down to Phoenix for the install, guys and gals at the shop were great to deal with, just down to earth and no B.S. in and out with in the day. OMG night and day difference with this kit you will not be disappointed. Thanks for putting this video out.

    Totally agree with your assessment. I did their full Ride Improvement System on my 2019 Talon X. It was uncomfortably stiff and hard riding when stock for the kind of rough rocky trail riding I do most. My first ride after installing the Shock Therapy system was at Moab, and the difference was immediately obvious! My only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint, is that since I requested it to be set up specifically for rough trail and rock climbing use, it’s pretty soft in the corners and leans more than most might like, but that’s how I asked for it to be, so I can’t complain! I did have a minor oil leak on one of the front shocks after I’d had them for about a year. Discussions with Shock Therapy resulted in me sending the shock to them on my dollar, but they rebuilt the shock and sent it back for free. They didn’t have to do that, so I really appreciated their customer service!
    I’d say my ride improvement over stock for how I ride is a 200% improvement!

    Enjoy your guys content on rides and review. Kawasaki called me and wanted to know my experience and why i bought my KRX. They asked for my sources for research, listed you guys along with another channel i watch. Hope you start getting some recognition from the bigger companies.

    Nice honest review of the Shock Therapy work, I am taking my KRX in for the re-valve in a couple of weeks, I live around 10 minutes away from them. I'm hoping the re-valve makes a big improvement on the rocky trails I ride on here. I bought the springs when I drove there to get the appointment and put them on and they made a improvement but not what I was hoping for, I might ask them to change the springs to a softer spring than what they gave me, driving slow on these rocky trails is very tiring. I want a very plush ride.

      Get the re-valve done and it will make a big difference. Set the dial to fully soft on those trails and you should be good. 👍 keep me updated-Garrett

    On my stock 2020 1000X-4 Fox Live Valve what should my
    Stock ride height to be?
    I don’t want to assume that Western Honda adjusted it correctly.lol.

      Stock yxz suspension is crap if you want it to ride good you need to upgrade everything front and rear arms shocks the whole thing go with cognito or HCR after you spend a bunch of money it'll ride almost as good anything out there it still has trouble in the really big bumps but it's my favorite car in the dunes

    how much ground clearance did you end up with once they got it fixed? they advertise 1 to 2" more than stock online

  • @MrJgos929
    @MrJgos929 3 роки тому

    How much ground clearance did they set it at to correct it? I’m about to install springs on my LV and it says in their instruction video 14”f 13.5”r “with stock tires”. I’m running 32’s like you and curious what it should be with the taller tires

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  3 роки тому

      You would adjust for your tires. Just make sure you use actual height not the height printed on the side. My 32’s are not quite 31” at 10psi which is what I usually run. -Joe

    Is it loud and rattle like a shopping cart on the small 6-8" rocks. Yes, it's smoother and rides better, but its soooo loud. I can't figure out why, but it drives me crazy to the point I want to switch to a rzr. I've tested again a rzr and there is no comparison. I've also tested against my buddies Talon, same model and all. Same noisy chatter. There must be a way to eliminate that noise. Anyone? I thinking is the shocks themselves making the noise from the sleeve between the tender springs and the main springs. Thoughts?

    I am sending my shocks into Weller racing in late January to get valving and springs. It will be June before I will be able to comment how it works. I live in Minnesota, everything is a bit chilly nowadays. I have a talon x 2019

    I'd be happy to demo your machine and compare it to my 2021 Honda Talon 1000R (2 seaters) which I feel is as stiff as can be.

    • @DerangedOffRoad

      With mine being a 4 seat, I don’t think it makes sense to compare. Definitely helps to drop the tire pressure. -Joe

    You already upgraded by have the live suspension... so what about just buying the cheaper model and then upgrade the suspension?

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  3 роки тому +1

      That’s definitely an option and will save you some money. You just don’t get the option of adjusting the shocks on the fly so you’ll lose the benefit of live valve. That’s the route I would go personally, but Joe who owns the Talon very much disagrees with my opinion. He will advocate for the live valve all day every day and he believes it’s worth the extra cost.

      I did ST springs on my RZR Turbo Dynamix. Honestly, I don't think it's worth it if you're a trail rider like us east coasters. High speeds it did make a difference. If I had to do it again, I'd just upgrade the tenders.
