It's done! In this video, Joe finishes up construction on his overlanding trailer. He'll take you through the process of fitting it with the wood panels, getting it painted, adding the roof top tent, and finishing it out.

FANTASTIC!! I can't believe you did all that for $1500! Are you going to seal up the untreated side of the plywood or is it exterior grade? Wouldn't want it to delaminate if you ever take it to a humid climate. Can't wait to see the final video...

Nice job. Is it me or what. It doesn't look like you have spring shackles.
The trailer has shackles on one end of each spring. The other end fits in a notch/pocket thing. -Joe
Looks awesome Joe! I noticed some air gaps as well that will need to be caulked to keep the dust out.
Thanks. The roof is actually not bolted down yet. Fasteners in place but didn’t have time to tighten them before filming. It’s nice and tight with no gaps now. Only other spot I need to seal is up front near the kitchen. Once I’m able to spend money there, it’ll get addressed. -Joe
You did a great job, only suggestion I have is paint the interior as it gives it a cleaner look. Besides that, great job!

Cool channel! I’m in the market for a UTV Leaning towards the general. I like the rig good job! I built one for my Jeep a while back but sold it when we moved out here to AZ. We are finally settling down here in Surprise and will be buying and building another trailer soon. I Will have to dust off the welder and metal cut band saw and put them to use! Keep it good stuff 🙌🏾👊🏾

Like the build, great idea for long trips in the machine. I feel like that thing is going fill with dust. You will need to drop some coin on sealing that whole thing up better IMHO. Super cool though.
It’s pretty tight but I’ll definitely be doing more work on sealing it up. -Joe

How many miles have you put on those tires & do you recommend them ?
1000 miles on the tires and they’ve been great. I don’t ride in the snow but I have heard they don’t perform well there. Check em out at Rocky Mountain ATV using the link in the vid description. You’ll still get the same great price but it will help us out as well. -Joe

Who the “heck” put that water heater in? It’s not to code! But it is Arizona so.....

To be honest, the codes are different in every state. I’m from up north so my experience is from here. But here it would be missing an expansion tank, an earthquake strap, and it’s hard to tell from the video, but it looks like it has a 3” vent. Probably should have a 4”. But your gas company and your elevation can determine that. Long story short, you are fine. :)

I have a 20 talon LV also. Have you noticed any problems with your LV, with your 32” tires? I have heard it’s hard on the machine with 32”. Did you go with Terrabites? And what rim do you run? Sorry for all the questions.
I’ll mainly be riding Sand Hollow and Pine Valley.
I do run Terrabites and have no complaints. They have scrubbed the driver inner fender a couple times at full lock and compression. Rims are stock but I’ll likely switch em out soon. I run em at 10psi. -Joe
