ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO: How To Stop Your Dogs Tummy Troubles
Does your dog get tummy troubles or an unhappy gut?
Maybe they get a bout of gas, diarrhea or constipation, even things like irritable bowel syndrome or leaky gut which all adds up to an unhappy gut.
If so, then I have a proven solution for you to help your dog with tummy and gut issues, quickly making them feel better.
Let me introduce natures wonder herb, Slippery Elm, used to soothe the entire gastrointestinal system of your dog and absorb toxins for leaky gut, stomach problems, IBD, pancreatitis, diarrhea, respiratory ailments, kennel cough and urinary problems.
Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) is a species of elm tree once used as a herbal remedy in North America over hundreds of years.
Native Americans discovered the abilities of Slippery Elm to make balms and salves to repair wounds, heal burns and to treat psoriasis and other skin conditions. It was also used to soothe oral conditions such as sore throats, coughs, and help relieve diarrhea and stomach problems.
If you have a dog with an unhappy gut, slippery elm has proven to be very effective, quickly making them feel better.
Slippery Elm has a substance named mucilage that's a polysaccharide which becomes a gel once mixed with water. This mucilage is derived from the internal bark of the tree and because it's slippery and slimy, it's given the name “Slippery Elm”.
Slippery elm bark powder has been used in certain cultures as part of their normal diets due to its nutritious content. It is rich in nutrients and antioxidants that promote recovery. Its antioxidants and vitamin A, B complex, C, K and minerals, calcium, magnesium and sodium help support skin health by eliminating free radicals that cause aging.
The mucilage gets to work quickly to soothe and coat the mouth, throat, stomach, and the intestines (the entire digestive system) while absorbing toxins, bringing much relief from health conditions such as Respiratory ailments such as Kennel Cough, Leaky gut, Constipation, Gastritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Acute Diarrhea, Colitis, Vomiting, Pancreatitis, Stomach and intestinal inflammation and Cuts, abrasions and burns by pulling out toxins, relieving itching and promote faster healing.
Use the powder form, it's more economical and easier to sprinkle on food as dogs seem to like it and it's completely safe. Wonderful for cats too.
Give 1/8 tsp for small dogs, twice daily
Give 1/4 tsp for medium dogs, twice daily
And give 1/2 tsp for large dogs, twice daily

I use Slippery Elm any time one of my dogs have diarrhea. I put it in bone broth (homemade) an hour or so before food. This works waaaay better than that "pill" they give you at those non holistic vet places. I give it a few times a day. Usually in less than two days time the pup is back to normal.

I have found something that’s totally natural. That works amazing for my dogs gut when they have diarrhoea even loose like watery stools or throwing up or even just upset rumbling tummy, here’s what I do.
I boil mint leaves in water strain the leaves out and keep that water put it in a glass bottle and store it in the fridge. I do the same thing with fresh ginger. Boil it in water strain it put it in glass jar. You can use any old jar that you had. You know some small product that you bought. I save them. Then put it in the fridge so you have it whenever you need it. I grow mint in my garden, but it’s very invasive, so put it in the spot that you don’t mind it spreading it’s very good to use for mint tea for yourself too.
When my dog is showing signs of gastric distress, upset tummy throwing up or diarrhea. I get a syringe And I mix a shot glass full of these two waters, the mint water and the ginger water I use a syringe and I put in maybe half a teaspoon in my 10 pound dog three times a day for a few days. It’s straightened her right out. It’s also done the same for the humans that I’ve given it to who had tummy trouble and we’re having acid in digestion or these types of uncomfortable symptoms.
It’s natural. It’s not costly and it’s easy to do. And it works. I save my syringes, or my eyedroppers from products that I have received from the vet or from the store, wash them out well and I keep them to use for these types of situations when you can’t get your dog necessarily to drink it.
These are old remedies that they used years and years ago before they had all of these toxic chemicals that they tell us to take now.

How long should slippery elm be used for?

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  Рік тому

As long as it's needed to stop inflammation. It's nutritious. Try for 7 days to begin with.
It’s best to give slippery elm at least 3 hours away from other supplements.
Dosage: Give ¼ tsp of powder for every 10 lbs of body weight. Mix the powder into food or some yogurt.

He kept walking for quite a while until he released some gas and felt better. My dog reacted like that when I started on a too high dosage of cbd oil and also when I gave him a hip& joint repair capsule ( all natural) I just can’t come up for a reason why he is running and totally happy and always after I picked him up the cramping and discomfort started! Hi and thank you, appreciated. Tricky without history. Maybe he develops a little gas from the diet or mix of food. Change things up to see if this changes things or fast the dog for 24hrs to clear him out, like a restart and a very healthy practice anyway. Some tummy massaging may help too, work in clockwise circles towards the rear end.

Not sure if you can help.
    I recently moved to Cali.
My dogs food is not available here. I transitioned him to Orijin. Per his vet he may have had a delayed allergic reaction to it (vomiting & diarrhea).
I've been cooking for him. Stools are a bit better, but still loose. He had KetoNatural dog food 1st time yesterday. (decided on that after watching your videos). I've added recommended slippery elm, powder collagen, & powder prebiotic to my Amazon cart, but not yet purchased them. Which should I try on him? All of them too much?
I need him to tolerate the kibble & be good as I need to leave him due to family emergency (my mom needs care on East Coast [cancer] & my husband can't cook for him). Any advice on how to approach this will be greatly appreciated. (He also takes omeprazole & now on thyroid med too).

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  8 місяців тому

The slippery elm is best given on empty stomach, just add to a little plain yoghurt. Others you can add to food.
      Here's some diet help:
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy/allergy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
      Some must do's:
Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination)
If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i
Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer)
No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!)
Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..
Go slow onn the transition to new foods and supplements, start small and build to dose up to normal over a week or two.

This will help soothe the digestive system and reduce inflammation.
Whats the diet? Vaccinations? Any drugs/supplements given.
