Bruce is one of the best live singers of all time. Not just the breath control and power - but Iron Maiden lyrics are just an avalanche of words, and he sings so fast - yet its all so clear and easy to hear.
He said that he have heard the song before but most first time reaction channels miss it by chopping it and start again where they chopped it or talk just when it happens. It goes like that for many other songs too but missing this could be counted as sacrilegious. Edit: took out a misplaced "is" and added "be counted"
They've been absolute trash live past 10 years, nowhere near even a 'good' live band, let alone the best live band. And I am a Maiden fan for 30ish years too.
@@mementomori1900 Please inform me of any other 70 year old bands doing what Maiden does today. That in itself makes them amazing. They have great grand kids, absolute trash.. Yeah right.
I think early queensryche could beat iron maiden if they kept the same sound they had off their 1983 EP. Listen to the song queen of the reich. Geoff tate was one of the best metal vocalist for a good 7-10 years live
Iron Maiden are my favorite metal band of all time, I finally got to see them live several years ago where I live, they stopped at the Tacoma dome on the book of souls world tour and it was phenomenal and they blew the roof off, thank you for this and this is one of my favorite songs.
At this point of time, Bruce had only just joined Maiden and came from a band called “Samson” and Samson were an excellent metal band, but I remember when Bruce joined Iron Maiden… OMG they just switched to another level altogether. They became the band they were destined to be. Unfortunately although they were killing it everywhere, eventually the drummer “Clive Burr” had to give it up because he was suffering from Altzeimer’s disease which was so devastating for the band and personally to Clive. The present lineup have been performing together for many decades, and they are still killing it together in every concert they perform.🇦🇺👏
Maiden is coming to play some US make up dates this coming year... worth traveling to see.. Seen them a few times.. still probably best show you'll ever see
It's easier to get high with distortion because what they're doing is bringing up the levels of the 3rd and 5th harmonic. (So, if you're singing an A fundamental at 440 Hz, the 3rd will be at 1320, and the 5th at 2200.) And because of the non-linear nature of human hearing, it doesn't take much odd-order harmonic energy to dominate the perceived sound.
not criticizing here but of all the reactions I have seen of this song nobody mentions the size of his chest, it's brutal when he re-joins the band downstairs he's twice their size just humour me and check it out.
i don't think it is true what you said about "he's never had voice lessons at this time", he always had training in music, piano and voice since a very young age
To go see Iron Maiden you're a decade or more too late cuz if there is a band called I ever made in today it wouldn't be like the one you're listening to now by any means that good stuff was long ago
And no offense bro you don't sound like you know what you're talking about whatsoever so just listen to the song cuz you do too much interrupting at the wrong part

You cut into the long note twice and it ruined the effect
Dude! You totally missed it! You chopped Bruce’s extended note not once but twice?

Thanks for letting me know. 17 second in the video and i'll stop watching. Thats literally what we are here for
WTF who's this about you or Iron Maiden? Your voice is cringy! In the middle of LooooooooooW Really?
Iron Maiden is the best live band ever. I have seen them many times over the last 35+ years

@@mementomori1900 how exactly have they been "trash"?

Only Iron Maiden is Better than Iron Maiden. Up The Irons 🎸❤️

I saw them on this tour a few days earlier when they played the Colston Hall in Bristol, UK - my second of many live Maiden concerts over the years 🤘
R.I.P. To the great Clive Burr
Did he actually pause TWICE during The Note? Jesus christ.
In the early 90s my just teenage self had my dad's vinyl of Live After Death, epic Maiden and awesome performance of Hallowed
THE best Maiden album for me too. I listened to this and Live at Donnington a stupid number of times 😁

The GREATEST frontman in the world! Period!
Of course that was fantastic. As was your analysis.
Maiden live is a singular experience! I saw them years ago with Motorhead, and, Dio opening. It was AMAZING!
I'm going to see them in October can't wait
One of the top 10 metal masterpieces .
"Hallowed Be Thy Name" is my fav Maiden's song.
featuring clive burr on drums the best live version imo
Irreplacable. Sorry Nicko.
I’m here two minutes after you posted! Can’t wait!
He was 23 years old at the moment of this video.
You don't know when to let it keep playing and pause at a break?
Never thought of that... What a powerful funeral song it would make....
It's pure excellence.
HEY! I HAVE THAT CUP!
Also, love your stuff man. Will try and catch a Twitch session and toss some good deep cut tunes for great vocalists
Can't wait :)
Like ceramic magnets on high-output pickups. Alnico don't cut it.

Bruce Dickinson is a force of nature 😂🎉🎉🎉
What a voice!!!
1982 - 2022 ! And Is just in the Liveset
You should review the 2001 Rock in Rio version, different power
Yeah, I think Bruce sang way better live in the late 90s and 2000s.
I want this song played at my funeral. 10/10 classic
Me too, but in 4/4 🙂

Yep, I have tickets for September
Still so epic....🇸🇪

Yes, killer voice and, well, you can't say a thing about the guitar work... but the drummer? MVP on this track for me. /m\
2:37 doh!🤦🏼♂️ 3:27 oh no!🤬
Nice
Si lo ves por primera vez, cada vez que este tipo pause el video, adelanta aproximadamente 40 segundos. De nada
Maiden live, 1985, Powerslave tour
You cut him off twice. Poor video.

Nope. Never took any voice lessons
