Love the content. Best deathgaurd channel on the platform. Regarding the tallyman, much of the discussion was around his unreliable cp regen, but I just wondered what your thoughts on his +1 to hit brings to the table? Many thanks and best wishes 👍
Agree mostly with the list, however (and maybe I didn't notice hit), how would you deal if your opponent plays 3 Rogal Dorns? Or anything als that has multiple 11 or 12 toughness?
I do think the BL have play as a 155 point unit of 2+ / 4+ and 15 wounds that can deep strike to do objectives. With how Pariah Nexus needs things to live until the end of your opponents turn, they are good durable units to just do actions. I'd rather have my DS termies be damage threats.
Hey Aiden, sorry I missed this live. I wanted to ask if you can tolerate it, could you look to have a DG Allies Tier list with the full disgustingly resilient team? I know you do not like allies but like I said, if you can tolerate it.
A question: do war dogs and plaguebearers keep the battle line keyword when allied? If so, I have a few juicy sounding ideas: - A brigand arriving from reserves first turn in Rapid Escalation sounds really good. - Some plaguebearers deep striking with OC 3 from Spoilpox Scrivener sound kinda good (at least on paper). I don't think these were covered in the video and I might be wrong, but both sound like interesting combos?
Whats the opinion on running an allied knight i was thinking of making a list with a despoiler who sits in the back with 10 poxwalkers then plague marines and deathshroud to hold objectives
Long time death guard and sisters player: only the infantry multi meltas hit on 4s, which is 1 in th BSS and then rets which arent as good. Immolators, dominions and paragon warsuits hit on 3s and the paragon has +1hit+1 wound vs monsters vehicles, i think you still take save contagion vs sisters and flamer down allot of the T3 1w models
@@slprjackal again sure, but my point is that wherever the biologis is the marines should be the same place, as they come as a package. Makes no sense to say that biologus is an auto include in an army and marines are not, because you wouldn’t take it without them.
It doesn't necessarily get around it but you would only get to fight first with one of them so its mutually assured destruction, you kill their unit with your first fight first then their second unit activates and kills your 2nd fight first unit befoe they can swing
@@deathguarddisgustinglyresilien Even more than this, is when they charge from 2 sides of the unit. Some chaff charges towards and bases the heavy plague weapons as much as possible. Their good melee unit charges the ‘soft’ side of the PM unit. When you fight first your good punch is stuck fighting the chaff as it cannot pile in to the better target as it is based.
Hey mate just wanted to update you i checked the settings and UA-cam thought it'd be a right good laugh to play an advert once every 3 minutes, i have rectified this back to the original 30 minutes, sincere apologies
A bit late to the video, but could you please explain why the Miasmic Malignifier is so damn good? all the details you gave in the video are uh, BS to be quite frank, none of those things apply to it. So what actually makes it an S-tier auto include?
Heavy bolter pred destructors are the way to go, but yeah, the more you take the better they are. It's why brigands are bad at anti-tank. Spooky shots, but also it's 2 shots, nobody cares. CK players used to take 6 brigands to expect them to do anything.
I liked the guest! He has a down-to-earth, humble energy but clearly knows what he’s talking about.

+1 to hit is good but hes fighting for that spot against the FBS and BioP which is a tough trade
Great vid. Good info. Fun content, feels like you guys have been rolling out more vids and streams lately too, i dig it.
But...
WHERES WARDOG WILLY?!
He will be back soon i promise!
Wow trolling me with the maismic malignifier. Caught me watching this video three times until it clicked. Well done hahaha.
Trolled me as well. So I guess it's not an auto include...I almost bought one because of this, yikes.
The Foul Blightspawn has gained use by giving plage marines fight first for Heroic intervention. They are a real deterent
1cp heroic feels so good
Really good guest

Yeah its something we can do when the gangs all back
Powalkers underrated, a 20 man brick can win games straight up
Death guard corrupted is my favorite. I love the plague army and typhus is my favorite character.
One tiny correction: Chaos Lord in Termie armour is 85 points, not 75, so more expensive than LoC, LoV, and Typhus 😢
Great! Hes even worse!

Ok, brigands were.

wtch the LGT video with DeathGuardDave - he took a depoiler to LGT
Just noticed there was no GUO on the list. Curious what you think of them.
We discuss them towards the end i think Rotigus is generally better than standard GUO and useable due to points bit board dependant too

-1WS/BS vs Drukhari is pretty brutal
If rhino and biologus is top tier, shouldn’t plague marines also be? They come as a package.
The idea was that marines themselves are not auto include but if you do take them the char and rhino are non negotiable
@@deathguarddisgustinglyresilien sure, but I wouldn’t take a biologus without marines.
Same goes for rhino really.
@@music-drivethe point is not "biologus and rhino are great on their own" though. If you take marines, just by themselves, they're where they are.

2x2 Blight haulers isn't so bad hanging out with Morty, their bases are too big for a 3x.
Can someone explain the issue with an enemy unit “eating” fights first? How does charging two units get around the Blightspawn’s value?

@baselbaldguyrandomhammer8066 yup also that, we covered a lot of this in the latest fetid fight phase video too
