😂I lost it on “plague knives are basically bolters”

What do you think about 6x5 Plague Marines in Rhino. Did so in my first 3 games on Nexus and it was good. Going try to dop down to 2 rhinos and 4x5 so can add some deathshroud. Tried brightlord's an they did little doe the points.

I do think the BL have play as a 155 point unit of 2+ / 4+ and 15 wounds that can deep strike to do objectives. With how Pariah Nexus needs things to live until the end of your opponents turn, they are good durable units to just do actions. I'd rather have my DS termies be damage threats.

Yeah I got a bit carried away with the zombies 🧟‍♂️. Ended up runing into blood angels. The 2nd 20 could have been anything else, they came on from out flank and took an obective from 5 marines. The drones were fire can't see a world where I don't play 3 in every list.

Agree mostly with the list, however (and maybe I didn't notice hit), how would you deal if your opponent plays 3 Rogal Dorns? Or anything als that has multiple 11 or 12 toughness?

One tiny correction: Chaos Lord in Termie armour is 85 points, not 75, so more expensive than LoC, LoV, and Typhus 😢

The Foul Blightspawn has gained use by giving plage marines fight first for Heroic intervention. They are a real deterent

Heavy bolter pred destructors are the way to go, but yeah, the more you take the better they are. It's why brigands are bad at anti-tank. Spooky shots, but also it's 2 shots, nobody cares. CK players used to take 6 brigands to expect them to do anything.

2x2 Blight haulers isn't so bad hanging out with Morty, their bases are too big for a 3x.

Hey Aiden, sorry I missed this live. I wanted to ask if you can tolerate it, could you look to have a DG Allies Tier list with the full disgustingly resilient team? I know you do not like allies but like I said, if you can tolerate it.

Long time death guard and sisters player: only the infantry multi meltas hit on 4s, which is 1 in th BSS and then rets which arent as good. Immolators, dominions and paragon warsuits hit on 3s and the paragon has +1hit+1 wound vs monsters vehicles, i think you still take save contagion vs sisters and flamer down allot of the T3 1w models

If rhino and biologus is top tier, shouldn’t plague marines also be? They come as a package.

I think great unclean ones should have a 4+ feel no pain. They’re not super powerful. They should just be bullet sponges.

3-5 at my local tournament here in British Columbia, Ran the -1 ap contagion and used crawlers and brigands just bodying anything they looked at blasted out ap 4,5,6, on my dogs all game We are looking good still DG one the tournament running a parking lot list

my group plays blood angels, world eaters, orks, black templar and chaos knight by now i use -hit nearly all the time (-sv for knights) cause it "feels right" thanks for explanation, gotta test around more

Thanks to these podcasts And Aidens great takes I went to my local 2 day tournament went 3/5 and placed 18 out of 40 people. Ran the -1 ap strat and was just walking through most things when I hit. Brigands were huge. I ran a chaos lord in a 5 man but that was a waste I am going to run an icon bearer for to make that squad oc 15+ and just use them for contagion range and a quick reinforcement off the board. Great stuff new favourite podcast Id love to join the discord or support the stream but I cant find the links to do either maybe its no available in canada? either way amazing stuff

I ran a similar list at an RTT a couple days ago, except I ran 2 MBH and 1 flamer drone. No spawn but brought poxwalkers and nurglings instead. Also LoV instead of LoC. Went 2-1 only losing to Forrest Phanton (no. 2 space wolves player in the world)

Did Dave say he used both the rampagers melee weapons into the monolith at the start

I miss bolter plague Marines. Special weapon squads dont fit DG as well as running them stock. Hopefully with the codex Pm are actually good and not have to patch them with free wargear.

Mate, thank you so much for this series and the fundamentals one. I came back to 40k after playing CSM in the 5th edition and I always loved the plague marines, so DG was an easy choice. How lucky that there is a top DG player putting out such high quality in-depth content for free!! Playing mostly combat patrol now, deep striking Typhus with 20 poxwalkers is funny and I haven’t lost to another box yet, also thanks to all your tips :D Imagine grenade was in combat patrol. But fuck are they hard to paint well!

Is there a heavy blightlord build (20 plus)... i got many of em and i wonder if such a thing is possible or it worth doing. They are so cheap and tuff... but so slow.
