Oh my gosh, I do the same thing!! I take my own bun and friends look at me like I’m an idiot, I have to say to them” don’t judge me”! I’ve lost 70 # how about you?!! I also just take off the top of pizza and don’t eat the crusts. Again, I have a pile of crust and get looks! But it really doesn’t bother me anymore and I feel soooo much better, I’ve been on this eating healthier journey for over 5 years now. Just about the same as you incredible ladies! Burger King you don't have to order a side salad... Just order the whopper protein style. They'll put it in a bowl with extra lettuce with the onion tomato and pickles (unless you're me i hate dill pickles). They'll give you packets of mayo and whatever you want. Is basically a salad. Protein style is all you have to say, they know what to do
This is my third year doing veggie keto, I always allow myself to cheat at the holidays or if I’m on vacation and just jump right back on afterwards. I’ve maintained my weight by doing this. ❤❤❤

I stay around 20 to 25 net carbs per day, I buy a lot of keto products like bread, tortillas, bars, muffins, waffles etc. I have 2 or 3 babybel cheeses and pecan nuts for a snack per day and Quorn or tofu and veggies is my go to for an evening meal. I never count calories tbh I just stick to the 20 to 25 net carbs. Let me know if I can help with anything else…

I have taken my keto bread/wrap/bun with me to restaurants before and ordered breadless whatever and then used my own. It works if you know you’ll be going, obviously not if you have to go without the luxury of getting to plan ahead. Oh wow!!! My daughter’s dog was also sprayed and he immediately came running through their home and rubbed against the baby’s diaper bag, their (full) laundry basket and the couch! UGH!!! They ordered some anti-skunk stuff and it is better a week later, but I can STILL smell it when they come over!!! Gracious!!!
Marco's out in the Atlanta GA area have a pizza bowl, but if I am at home and want pizza I just throw a bunch of topping into a frying pan cook then top with cheese. Frying pan pizza. Another trick I have done on the road when I need something quick, I will get a couple naked hotdogs (No Bun). So far nobody has said anything about that. I know I am not the only one, because one cashier remarked her husband does the same thing. A couple BBQ places a frequent are definitely keto carnivore friendly. I even was successful doing a carnivore friendly breakfast at Cracker Barrel. My next challenge is to do keto friendly at Red Lobster this coming weekend. If anybody asks why, I have a photo of me last thanksgiving where I was over 100lbs heavier, That should get a holly cr** you did by going low carb and eating more fat and protean. keep up the great work ladies. Your helping me get the confidence to go out and go "No bread please".

I get two scrambled eggs, which is about three eggs, and two sausage patties. According to Cronometer, that breakfast order contains 32g protein, 3.5g carbs, and 56g fat. Also, you can use the app to customize a double quarter-pounder cheeseburger (which is cheaper than ordering the quarter-pounder patties separately) by removing all the condiments, adding extra pickles, more salt, and lettuce, and additional patties. I ordered this with four total patties, cheese, pickles, lettuce, and extra salt. It works great and has 122g protein, 4g carbs, and 87g fat, according to Cronometer.

Chick Fil-A, their grilled chicken nuggets are only 1 carb for 8. Add a pack of buffalo sauce for 1 more carb, and a pack of ranch for another 1 carb. Magic!!!!
Have you tried baking soda, peroxide and dawn dish soap to get the skunk smell out? Mix it with water to form a paste. I've used it on my dog and it works great. You can also use it in a spray bottle to get the smell off things the dog rubbed against. Just go light on the peroxide or mix in extra water.
Ordered many but.. My local Papa Johns refuses app orders that aren't $8.99 for PICKUP.. Menu priced bowl doesny meet the limit and i refuse to order morr just so they can get more $.
I don't eat beef/pork so my choices tend to lean vegetarian. If you have Papa Murphy's take & bake pizza in your area, they have a "keto" pizza that's pizza toppings in a pan (no crust). I like the gourmet vegetarian with light olive oil and garlic (rather than their red sauce). If I need something ready to eat, I like the unwich option at Jimmy John's. Any sandwich they make can be wrapped in iceberg lettuce. It's tightly wrapped so it doesn't fall apart.
I take canned sardines with me on road trips. Hubby eats regular menu and I eat my fish. Also bring pork rinds for chips at Mexican places. It can be done with a little pre-planning.
I take canned sardines, canned tuna, and canned salmon on my car and plane trips. TSA pulled me over in a Kansas Airport to investigate my canned goods😁I thought they were going to take my fish away!

Love the Panera Chicken Caesar salad without croutons (my homemade croutons from keto bread are in my purse) My splurge meal is the Costo pizza & hotdog wrap. Use a fork to work the hotdog around the pizza topping as the bun and throw the bun & crust.
I must say I’ve been bringing around my low carb tortillas since 2004! 😂 Also, I get the three taco meal and ditch the shells and eat the filling. It’s pretty satisfying. 🌮🌮🌮

McDonald’s I get sausage egg McMuffin, hold the muffin. A&W I get 3 chicken strips for 4 net carbs or 5 strips for 7 net carbs. If there’s hot dogs at the movies I’ll eat that with no bun as a meal replacement
Any kind of Smashburger with no bun and only mayo or their chipotle sauce is my usual go-to. Add a side of deep-fried brussel sprouts to dip in either their ranch or chipotle sauce and that's a great keto meal on the road. In-N-Out burger Protein Style (lettuce bun and mayo) also works.
Jack-in-the-box; The 'Loaded Breakfast sandwich' without the bun (sourdough bread), and for me without the cheese, is my go-to. You get whole fried eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, & american cheese (I never eat american cheese🤢). It comes in a bowl, and is very filling. Depending on location, you will get a variation of these items, but they will give you another egg usually if you ask.

McDonald’s. When ordering breakfast, I order 2 sausage egg McMuffins without the yucky cheese. I toss the muffins, then put the eggs and sausages together with the sausage on the outside and eat as a sandwich.
I bring Hero hamburger and hotdog buns to substitute for the wheat rolls. I ask them to hold the wheat bun. Its totally fine especially since the restaurant is making a larger profit on your order as they are still charging you for the bread but not having to give it to you.
In n Out- Flying Dutchman with whole grilled onion wrap, The Habit- Santa Barbara Cobb salad. I bring my own salad dressing all the time. Just a small container I throw in my purse (in a ziplock). It’s just olive oil and balsamic vinegar with seasonings. I make the egg white Hawaiian rolls into a loaf and I take that with me when I want some bread. I’ve flown with these things in the proper sized containers for carry on. I ordered some small, secure glass jars on Amazon. Yep, I’ll even pack ingredients 😂 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve taken pork rinds to a Mexican restaurant so I can enjoy salsa. I just stick these things in my purse and don’t make a big production out of it lol🤣

I came to say my go to for low carb away from home is Jimmy John’s Unwich. I see many others mentioned it too. Where I live, they use Boar’s Head brand meats and cheese, which are fairly clean eating.
Boar's head had a huge recall of many of their meats and they closed a plant because of the problem. I used to think they were a "clean" company but not any longer.

We have a Steak and Shake here in MO. I recently got the butter burger no bun. It has a little bit of caramelized onions on top. Also there's a Bandanas that has smoked brisket you can buy wo bread or sauce. TY!
At McD’s you order from the A La Carte Menu and get 1/4 lb patties way cheaper than burgers with no bun. The down side or up side is, it’s just meat. I have also found you can order items at some places by saying “a side of” for instance at sonic I order a side of egg and a side of bacon.
We have gotten the protein bowl at Subway. I have gotten the jalitos ranch burger, no bun, and a side salad at Dairy Queen. I’ve also taken my own low carb tortilla chips for their taco salad.
chipotle is my keto go too double meat no rice no beans salad bowl extra lettuce all the fats cheese sour cream queso guac hot salsa but you can do any but hot is the lowest carbs and more lettuce on top. you can also get the fajita veggies if you want sometimes I get a side of queso or guac to dip in some kind of keto chip at home or raw veggies like broccoli or cauliflower
For burgers I’d do aBurger King whoppers, Sonic ir Dairy Queen. If I crave something decent to eat I’ll just pop into a grocery store…. Cooked shrimp and a Keto ice cream. That will do it!
Jimmy John’s does an unwich that has all the fillings from the sandwich wrapped in lettuce . It’s so good! The Chick-fil-A chicken was blah. If you have a Raising Cane chicken near you their ‘naked’ chicken if wonderful and juicy! I love the Chipotle protein bowls (Qdoba has something similar). BK low carb burgers are the best. McDs are kind of dry and tasteless. I tend to travel with a bag of nuts, protein puffs, meat sticks, and other high protein snacks that can be a meal in a pinch. With a cooler you can add yogurt, boiled eggs, cheese, pickles, beverages and more. Interestingly, you can usually find keto friendly snacks at gas stations/convenience stores too.
Buffalo Wild wings....they fry their wings in beef tallow so you get traditional wings 10 count x crispy (trad is no breading) ...side carrots and celery, buffalo or lemon pepper, or parm garlic dipping sauceno fries instead get a ceasar no crout0 or chop salad in place of.....CAVA is good too for options...Julianna NC
I love Wingstop garlic parm and lemon pepper, both not breaded! Feel a little icky from the deep frying oils, but it's a once in a while comfort purchase!
I have found that a 6 pc-shrimp, cocktail sauce with onion rings and ketchup at Culvers does not kick me out of ketose. This is my once a week "cheat" meal and it worked fine.
Harvey's Canada - Angus burger (thicker than the Original burger), no bun and then add your keto toppings (for me it's mustard, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle and black olives), substitute side salad for French fries (extra $1.20 but a nice salad in a plastic container with cucumbers, tomato, carrot, different kinds of lettuce, plus I get them to add black olives to it - worth the extra), then Pepsi zero with it.
I know that you ladies order from Thrive Market. They have their version of Moon cheese called Air Cheese that is reasonable and quite clean ingredients. You could check it out. I like it, comes in several flavors. 😊
I love the premade salads that grocery stores and walmart sell when I travel. They're cheap and usually very good. And of course I love throwing down the gullet.
I bring my own keto bread, crystal light pouches and dessert. I have a really big purse lol. Once I brought the bread to the restaurant and asked them to make a sandwich on it and they did. It was really good since it was Hero bread
I think it would be a good idea to bring a cooler if you're going to take a trip, and have some keto salad dressing, sauce, ketchup , heavy cream, etc. to make eating easier! :)
I don't imagine you have a FatBurger where you live, but they have the Skinnyburger. It replaces the Bread bun with two larger beef patties. The other things are inside. I enjoy them, but I have to remember to bring some cayenne with me (like many Burger joints they don't know where the spice rack is.)
I always take salad dressing with me and homemade cocktail sauce when going for seafood. Started doing that because hubs is type 2 diabetic but now I’m on keto so works for both. They never say anything but if we get inquiring looks I just explain that we can’t have sugar and they should talk to the chef about offering sugar free or low sugar condiments 😁. I’ve always had positive responses to that statement.
I watch ShoPhoCho and he showed a double patty burger used as the bun with the veg ingredients on the inside. It holds up better than anything else. I think he did that at In-N-Out, which will make all kinds of keto variations if asked.
I’ve brought low carb tortillas to the restaurant when my hubby and I go out. I’ve even asked them to heat them up if it wasn’t a problem. I’ve also brought low carb chips. They were always nice and my husband and I are good tippers so 😊
At Taco Johns, I ordered a single burger patty with cheese no bun no salad sides they place it in a nice plastic dish and give you a fork and knife ... the ticket called it an "Old Fashioned Burger" I thought that was interesting. At Arby's I order the regular roast beef no sauce keep the bun take it home, give it to my husband who is not keto or carnivore, he will eat the bun with homemade sloppy joes or homecooked hamburger because he quit buying buns and usually uses bread so this bun is a treat for him, I order 6 0z roast beef or they call it the regular roast beef no bun , cheese on side if you eat that, they also give you a fork for that if eating in the dinner, otherwise I take it home and share some with my fur babies. They love it!
Potters pizza, I get the crustless meat lovers and have the buffet hot wings with a salad. Mexican I get a bowl of Carne con Chili verde with eggs and cheese.
I live on the west coast, and we have In-N-Out here. The Flying Dutchman is easily keto friendly if you don't add the ketchup or relish. I like my Flying Dutchman mustard fried.
I like the McDs sausage, egg mcmuffins. I just order them regular but eat around the bun. If you're trying to drive, you need something non-slippery to hold on to 😅
Most places offer a a la cart menu which is often cheap then ordering a sandwich without the bun. At McDonald’s, you can order a quarter pounder patty or 2 or 3 and they make if fresh, the down side is you usually have to wait for it. I know Wendy’s offers the same options, but they also have grilled chicken. Taco Bell also offers A la cart, so I will order the lettuce, meat, cheese and what not as a side and bring my own tortilla or eat it as a salad. This has helped me many of times say on track when I’m in a pinch.

What does the extra salt do for the double quarter pounder?

Chick Fil-A, their grilled chicken nuggets are only 1 carb for 8. Add a pack of buffalo sauce for 1 more carb, and a pack of ranch for another 1 carb. Magic!!!!

Have you tried baking soda, peroxide and dawn dish soap to get the skunk smell out? Mix it with water to form a paste. I've used it on my dog and it works great. You can also use it in a spray bottle to get the smell off things the dog rubbed against. Just go light on the peroxide or mix in extra water.
Tomato juice is supposed to help get the skunk smell out.
Papa Johns has the papa bowl - a pizza in a bowl with out the crust.
Ordered many but.. My local Papa Johns refuses app orders that aren't $8.99 for PICKUP.. Menu priced bowl doesny meet the limit and i refuse to order morr just so they can get more $.
I don't eat beef/pork so my choices tend to lean vegetarian. If you have Papa Murphy's take & bake pizza in your area, they have a "keto" pizza that's pizza toppings in a pan (no crust). I like the gourmet vegetarian with light olive oil and garlic (rather than their red sauce). If I need something ready to eat, I like the unwich option at Jimmy John's. Any sandwich they make can be wrapped in iceberg lettuce. It's tightly wrapped so it doesn't fall apart.
I take canned sardines with me on road trips. Hubby eats regular menu and I eat my fish. Also bring pork rinds for chips at Mexican places. It can be done with a little pre-planning.
I take canned sardines, canned tuna, and canned salmon on my car and plane trips. TSA pulled me over in a Kansas Airport to investigate my canned goods😁I thought they were going to take my fish away!

Thank you for making this video. Whenever we are on a long road trip I frequently give up and just eat whatever I can grab. I'm hoping this video will plant itself in the back of my brain and pop up the next time we are on the road so I can remember this and make better decisions.

Love the Panera Chicken Caesar salad without croutons (my homemade croutons from keto bread are in my purse) My splurge meal is the Costo pizza & hotdog wrap. Use a fork to work the hotdog around the pizza topping as the bun and throw the bun & crust.
I must say I’ve been bringing around my low carb tortillas since 2004! 😂 Also, I get the three taco meal and ditch the shells and eat the filling. It’s pretty satisfying. 🌮🌮🌮

McDonald’s I get sausage egg McMuffin, hold the muffin. A&W I get 3 chicken strips for 4 net carbs or 5 strips for 7 net carbs. If there’s hot dogs at the movies I’ll eat that with no bun as a meal replacement
Any kind of Smashburger with no bun and only mayo or their chipotle sauce is my usual go-to. Add a side of deep-fried brussel sprouts to dip in either their ranch or chipotle sauce and that's a great keto meal on the road. In-N-Out burger Protein Style (lettuce bun and mayo) also works.
Jack-in-the-box; The 'Loaded Breakfast sandwich' without the bun (sourdough bread), and for me without the cheese, is my go-to.
You get whole fried eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, & american cheese (I never eat american cheese🤢). It comes in a bowl, and is very filling. Depending on location, you will get a variation of these items, but they will give you another egg usually if you ask.
Jimmy johns subs; any sub can be "unwhiched" or lettuce wrapped. I like the Italian night club or the Vito. Cheaper and better than subway

I work at Dominos in Texas. We don't have protein bowls. The only thing keto is a chicken Ceaser salad or a Garden salad

McDonald’s. When ordering breakfast, I order 2 sausage egg McMuffins without the yucky cheese. I toss the muffins, then put the eggs and sausages together with the sausage on the outside and eat as a sandwich.
Taco Bell has a Cantina Chicken Bowl that you can customize.

I bring Hero hamburger and hotdog buns to substitute for the wheat rolls. I ask them to hold the wheat bun. Its totally fine especially since the restaurant is making a larger profit on your order as they are still charging you for the bread but not having to give it to you.

In n Out- Flying Dutchman with whole grilled onion wrap, The Habit- Santa Barbara Cobb salad. I bring my own salad dressing all the time. Just a small container I throw in my purse (in a ziplock). It’s just olive oil and balsamic vinegar with seasonings. I make the egg white Hawaiian rolls into a loaf and I take that with me when I want some bread. I’ve flown with these things in the proper sized containers for carry on. I ordered some small, secure glass jars on Amazon. Yep, I’ll even pack ingredients 😂 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve taken pork rinds to a Mexican restaurant so I can enjoy salsa. I just stick these things in my purse and don’t make a big production out of it lol🤣

If I know I'll be eating on the road, I take La Banderita zero carb wraps with me. Make a wrap out of almost any burger or sandwich.

I came to say my go to for low carb away from home is Jimmy John’s Unwich. I see many others mentioned it too. Where I live, they use Boar’s Head brand meats and cheese, which are fairly clean eating.
Boar's head had a huge recall of many of their meats and they closed a plant because of the problem. I used to think they were a "clean" company but not any longer.

We have a Steak and Shake here in MO. I recently got the butter burger no bun. It has a little bit of caramelized onions on top. Also there's a Bandanas that has smoked brisket you can buy wo bread or sauce. TY!
At McD’s you order from the A La Carte Menu and get 1/4 lb patties way cheaper than burgers with no bun. The down side or up side is, it’s just meat. I have also found you can order items at some places by saying “a side of” for instance at sonic I order a side of egg and a side of bacon.
We have gotten the protein bowl at Subway. I have gotten the jalitos ranch burger, no bun, and a side salad at Dairy Queen. I’ve also taken my own low carb tortilla chips for their taco salad.

chipotle is my keto go too double meat no rice no beans salad bowl extra lettuce all the fats cheese sour cream queso guac hot salsa but you can do any but hot is the lowest carbs and more lettuce on top. you can also get the fajita veggies if you want sometimes I get a side of queso or guac to dip in some kind of keto chip at home or raw veggies like broccoli or cauliflower
For burgers I’d do aBurger King whoppers, Sonic ir Dairy Queen. If I crave something decent to eat I’ll just pop into a grocery store…. Cooked shrimp and a Keto ice cream. That will do it!
Jimmy John’s does an unwich that has all the fillings from the sandwich wrapped in lettuce . It’s so good! The Chick-fil-A chicken was blah. If you have a Raising Cane chicken near you their ‘naked’ chicken if wonderful and juicy! I love the Chipotle protein bowls (Qdoba has something similar). BK low carb burgers are the best. McDs are kind of dry and tasteless.
I tend to travel with a bag of nuts, protein puffs, meat sticks, and other high protein snacks that can be a meal in a pinch. With a cooler you can add yogurt, boiled eggs, cheese, pickles, beverages and more.
Interestingly, you can usually find keto friendly snacks at gas stations/convenience stores too.
Buffalo Wild wings....they fry their wings in beef tallow so you get traditional wings 10 count x crispy (trad is no breading) ...side carrots and celery, buffalo or lemon pepper, or parm garlic dipping sauceno fries instead get a ceasar no crout0 or chop salad in place of.....CAVA is good too for options...Julianna NC
I love Wingstop garlic parm and lemon pepper, both not breaded! Feel a little icky from the deep frying oils, but it's a once in a while comfort purchase!

I have found that a 6 pc-shrimp, cocktail sauce with onion rings and ketchup at Culvers does not kick me out of ketose. This is my once a week "cheat" meal and it worked fine.

Hardee’s serves a great double cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap. They are wonderful!
Harvey's Canada - Angus burger (thicker than the Original burger), no bun and then add your keto toppings (for me it's mustard, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle and black olives), substitute side salad for French fries (extra $1.20 but a nice salad in a plastic container with cucumbers, tomato, carrot, different kinds of lettuce, plus I get them to add black olives to it - worth the extra), then Pepsi zero with it.
I know that you ladies order from Thrive Market. They have their version of Moon cheese called Air Cheese that is reasonable and quite clean ingredients. You could check it out. I like it, comes in several flavors. 😊

Subway protein bowl, basically sub in a bowl. Taco bell protein bowl, no lettuce,no beans, extra chicken/beef.
Costco order a slice of pizza and a hot dog no bun. Wrap the dog in the pizza topping. Delish

I love the premade salads that grocery stores and walmart sell when I travel. They're cheap and usually very good. And of course I love throwing down the gullet.
I bring my own keto bread, crystal light pouches and dessert. I have a really big purse lol. Once I brought the bread to the restaurant and asked them to make a sandwich on it and they did. It was really good since it was Hero bread
I think it would be a good idea to bring a cooler if you're going to take a trip, and have some keto salad dressing, sauce, ketchup , heavy cream, etc. to make eating easier! :)

I don't imagine you have a FatBurger where you live, but they have the Skinnyburger. It replaces the Bread bun with two larger beef patties. The other things are inside. I enjoy them, but I have to remember to bring some cayenne with me (like many Burger joints they don't know where the spice rack is.)
I always take salad dressing with me and homemade cocktail sauce when going for seafood. Started doing that because hubs is type 2 diabetic but now I’m on keto so works for both. They never say anything but if we get inquiring looks I just explain that we can’t have sugar and they should talk to the chef about offering sugar free or low sugar condiments 😁. I’ve always had positive responses to that statement.
When I go out of town, I bring keto buns to order meat.
I watch ShoPhoCho and he showed a double patty burger used as the bun with the veg ingredients on the inside. It holds up better than anything else. I think he did that at In-N-Out, which will make all kinds of keto variations if asked.

I’ve brought low carb tortillas to the restaurant when my hubby and I go out. I’ve even asked them to heat them up if it wasn’t a problem. I’ve also brought low carb chips. They were always nice and my husband and I are good tippers so 😊

At Taco Johns, I ordered a single burger patty with cheese no bun no salad sides they place it in a nice plastic dish and give you a fork and knife ... the ticket called it an "Old Fashioned Burger" I thought that was interesting. At Arby's I order the regular roast beef no sauce keep the bun take it home, give it to my husband who is not keto or carnivore, he will eat the bun with homemade sloppy joes or homecooked hamburger because he quit buying buns and usually uses bread so this bun is a treat for him, I order 6 0z roast beef or they call it the regular roast beef no bun , cheese on side if you eat that, they also give you a fork for that if eating in the dinner, otherwise I take it home and share some with my fur babies. They love it!
Potters pizza, I get the crustless meat lovers and have the buffet hot wings with a salad.
Mexican I get a bowl of Carne con Chili verde with eggs and cheese.
5Guys Will do any burger in a bowl and it is my favorite go-to.

I live on the west coast, and we have In-N-Out here. The Flying Dutchman is easily keto friendly if you don't add the ketchup or relish. I like my Flying Dutchman mustard fried.

I like the McDs sausage, egg mcmuffins. I just order them regular but eat around the bun. If you're trying to drive, you need something non-slippery to hold on to 😅
Most places offer a a la cart menu which is often cheap then ordering a sandwich without the bun. At McDonald’s, you can order a quarter pounder patty or 2 or 3 and they make if fresh, the down side is you usually have to wait for it. I know Wendy’s offers the same options, but they also have grilled chicken. Taco Bell also offers A la cart, so I will order the lettuce, meat, cheese and what not as a side and bring my own tortilla or eat it as a salad. This has helped me many of times say on track when I’m in a pinch.
