Decorating idea: Buy the 3-pack of LED tea lights and place a tea light under the metal Christmas truck or inside the metal Christmas beetle car. That would be super cute!
To let your viewers know. My VFW auxiliary buys socks, gloves, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, word puzzle books etc. for Christmas gifts for our local Veterans home. Please do the same in your town.❤
@hillarybeautifile just call them and ask if they would be interested. Also ask how many men and women in the facility. I tend to make more for the women. Good luck. God bless our Veterans.
The $1.25 turntable is an amazing deal and I love Space Tape! I agree the wrapping paper is not good quality and want to keep warning DT shoppers to check for PBA free labels on plastic items that will come into contact with water or food.
If you put the wax into a metal barrel with 2 pieces of 2x2s and put like 10 candles in there with the 2 pieces of wood and light it it will keep you warm and light up a fairly decent size and last a lot longer than the candles would by themselves.
I'm always worried about power outages so I keep some of these solar stakes that he showed us from the store. You can charge them outside during the day and use them inside during the eve. Then rotate. The USB rechargeables work great also, if only I found them more often at the DS. ♡
The organizer lazy susan, would hold family access to over the counter meds like pain relief, eye drops, bandages. Keeping it from taking over a cabinet shelf or drawers. Easily monitor exp dates.
Yes! I use multiple lazy Susans for all my vitamins & supplements & what a game changer, as I take alot of good stuff trying to stay healthy in this toxic world we live in 😅😅
On the off chance you see this comment, I just wanted to note, on the Doggy bag/Flashlight packages; Be sure to read the back. All of the ones in Yakima, Washington (that I’ve looked at over the last year) have *all* far exceeded their product expiration. Both in general & for the batteries provided. (I don’t know that poses any real issue, however when pointed out, one Dollar Tree, that already provides a discount bin, offered me the item for free. & At another, it was discounted 80% = ¢0.25/ea)
I’ve found their bags faulty, having to make SURE they have no holes on the seams. It could end up being a horrible experience if you know what I mean. 😮
My dollar tree always looks like the apocalypse just occurred. Stuff haphazardly laying about and empty shelves. Last night, no register lights on, no cashier at the front! Creepy.
Me, too, at my Dollar Tree in San Francisco. It tends to be sparse, not well organized, and somewhat dirty, with mice spotted on two occasions. In contrast, his Dollar Tree seems very nice, with loads of interesting products!
Wow! I am throughly shocked! Virtually everything you have mentioned is in stock @ my local store. That never happens! No doubt it will never happen again.
You are hilarious. I love watching you and your dry sense of humor. 🤣 you make my day. I’m like was that a joke and then I get it and I laugh 🤣 you have such great ideas and the best buys. Thank you for making your channel so enjoyable and fun to watch. We appreciate you.
Be careful using that EZ heater. The heating springs inside can weaken from heating fatigue & explode. This happened with a very similar budget heater I bought - it threw red hot molten metal spring bits throughout the room. Despite having UL safety approval.
Had to laugh at that heater. The same heater routinely sells for $15 to 20. So this DT price is basically what everybody else already sells it for. Running it on low is safe. It will not stress the wiring that way. As a rule, I never run electric heaters on full power.
@kiviabrown2335 You're welcome :) After this happened, I bought a closed oil-filled electric radiator style heater. Cost about $40 back then & was much safer. Its warmth felt better too.
@LatitudeSky Thanks. Yes, I might've been using the higher 1500 watt setting too much. Still, the heating springs should've held up. Anyway, I'll never buy another one, regardless. I replaced it with an oil-filled electric radiator type heater & room warming was much better. 👌
I bought the large mugs, filled them with fresh flowers and a bow 📦… gave out to my Neighbors 😊💐 A Bouquet & Soup Mug for Winter ❄️ All bought @ The Dollar Plus🎉 I’m currently working on Home- Made Beanie Bears to send to a Nursing Home for Christmas, and small Candy Canes 🍭 ( Sugar & Sugar Free ). There’s many Elderly and Young having no one to visit during the Holidays🎄🎅 no gifts either. Please remember them and maybe you might help too 😊🎅🤶🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Life hack: For people like me who love to play scratch off tickets, but dont like the the mess after the scratchings, i use something similar to that desktop vacuum as my dedicated scratch off ticket cleaner.
For the umbrellas.. when they no longer work you can remove the fabric cover and for Halloween use the frame to make a UFO that crash landed in your yard.
It's really like a second job, trying to find the cool stuff. You pretty much have to get there at open on Mon, Tuesday, & Wednesdays to have any luck. Pretty sure they under stock them on purpose as doorbusters. You cannot order the new, in demand items on the website. A lot of the good stuff either, tbh.
I like your videos, but I really take issue with stores practically ignoring Thanksgiving and jumping straight from Halloween to Christmas. Oh, well, end of rant. Keep up the great work!
Get thee to Dollar Tree on the double then. I went yesterday. Best selection of Thanksgiving/autumn merchandise they've ever had. They have it, Matt just skipped it.
The ceramic candle holders are actually wax melters. You put a block of scented wax in the top dish part, and an unscented tea light in the opening opposite of the cut out decoration to heat the wax above. Still, a good price…..
A couple days ago, I saw Judy Blume paperbacks ("Are you there God, it's me Margaret" and "Blubber") There may have been others. But, those 2 were sitting on top.
Thank you! FYI - What you called ‘candle holders’ are actually ‘Oil Diffusers’ [water & essential oils go on top and a (real flame) tea light goes underneath. 😁
Vivian, I was in a well stocked Dollar Tree yesterday. They have the best selection of Thanksgiving/autumn merchandise I've ever seen there. Hurry in, the stuff won't last.
Thank you for the memory and laugh when you talked about the "stale" candy in the lovely bowl at your relatives house. My Nana had a covered bowl in her hallway that always had stale candy, and all us kids always got a piece! Of course making sure our Mom didn't catch us with candy!!! God Bless You and your family
Your video is right on time. I'm hitting up my dollar tree later today, and will be on the lookout for these deals. I am grateful for you and your hard work for us! 😊
I haven't had good luck with the insulator kits. The tape releases the plastic halfway though winter and also manages to be hard to remove at the end of the season. The tall glass candles seem safer to me. They last a good long while. I'm not sure I'd use the word 'shocked' in reference to a dollar store electric heater. Sorry, just in one of those moods today.
Thank you so much for doing these videos, and for trying/testing out the different items and telling us your experiences with them and, with food, how it is/was. I'm disabled, currently housebound, however I found so many interesting things on the video that I wanted to get that I made a list for "da hubby" to go get from our local store, so thank you!!
Thank you Matt. Hope I can find these items at my DT. Absolutely love your videos and humor. Always make me laugh. Your Little ones looked adorable in their costumes. Have a blessed week.
I watched this video right when you released it. But I had to come back and watch it again. I laughed out loud so many times during this video, at your funny jokes. You are so funny! So entertaining! Thank you for the video, & all of the hard work that you put in for us!❤️ I love you, too.😊
Oh, good old Axe, when my son was a teenager my whole car smelled like Axe 🤢as soon as he got in it. Thankfully he’s not a teen anymore and his taste is much better.
the wifi smart bulb may be dangerous. Not electrically dangerous, but if you put it on your home WiFi/network and install the app you may be letting hackers in. Stay safe. Otherwise great video!
Read the directions and permissions carefully. I bought a major brand bulb and the permissions included giving them complete access to everything on your phone. It was returned without being installed.
I think this was your funniest video yet! From uncle Larry to a Dairy Queen blizzard lol! I think I’m gonna get those light up glasses I’m blind anyway so it’s a win for me!
Matt, after watching some of your 2, 3 and 4 year old videos on how to shop different stores, I have noticed you have really come out of your shell! Nice to see. You were probably the class clown as a kid. As always love your videos ❤
The candy dish made me giggle~ our grandmother reserved hers for "special guests" and guess what? We were not the special guest. BTW there were about 44 of us grands & we would all have the same memory. 🤣😂😅
I use those containers year round make gift basket out of them for any occasion I have so much Christmas 🎄 stuff from Dollar tree I don't even know where half of it is at but once I move into my permanent place I will get it all organized 😊
I bought a pile of those gingebread houses a couple weeks ago as soon as I saw them, because each family member getting a full size house to decorate is great. I have NEVER found space tape dupes in stock at any DT store, no matter if it's big, small, or out in the fringes where they have lower foot traffic. Maddening
The glass bowls are actually a restock. I bought the same bowl for an extra large candle years ago. My biggest find was finally got the power stick body spray sol de janiero dupe. I had given up on ever seeing it in stock at local DTs.
I bought 10 of the dishwasher packs. They had a ton. I probably could have bought 40 more but, that’s not nice to take them all. I want so much now. I saw a bunch of them now. I have to watch again and make a list 🎉. Thank you.
You had me at "holds more marshmallows"! Great video again, Matt. Thank you for all the great finds and your hard work. But it is a hard NO on the Axe car air fresheners. That smell is a trigger for my asthma.
Always enjoy your videos and try to check our local stores for the items. But a lot of the products you show on your videos never show up in any of our local stores. Probably sent to the bigger towns and stores, however, we do once in a while get lucky! Anything Odor Ban is a great product! We buy the gallon jug of it to clean any odor and messes from our pets. When our house was slightly flooded, we used the gallon jugs of it to fight the odor and mold left behind, works really well for that too. Suggestion for the wooden garden stakes and signs, no matter the season, always spray them with clear spray paint so they will hold up before you put them outside. Then respray them and allow to dry before you put them away, so they'll be ready for the next year
HAPPY DOLLAR TREE DAY EVERYONE! Please give this video a THUMBS UP if you can :) What was your biggest Dollar Tree find this month?
I use the 3 compartment container to showcase the bugs I catch 🪲🦗🐜
Double sided tape you can even use it to keep rugs in place
0:25 The dishwasher pods, easily! I have not come across any issues with them.
the large 3 prong plastic hooks work great to hang multiple clothes next to your photo area when listing for sale
Google: Other uses for dishwasher tablets .....and you'll discover a whole host of uses for them other than cleaning dishes.
I buy ten umbrellas at a time and I hand them out to people waiting at the bus stop in the rain. It’s easy to be helpful thanks to the DT. 💗
What a lovely idea! ❤
The ponchos work well for the same thing, too.
That’s awesome and I’m sure appreciated ❤ I may have to do the same 😊
They make a good extra in the car!
What a kind and thoughtful gesture. You're an angel 👼
In this month, we are reminded to be thankful...So, thank you so much for your work!
The lazy susan works well in the fridge and bathroom too
YES!!
I’m still lookin for the lazy Susan for over a year now here in NJ.
Never thought of using it in a fridge 🤔 thanks for that tip
Great idea!
Wish they were at MY Dollar Tree 😢
Your ‘somewhat stale’ grandma’s candy remark cracked me up!
Please never stop with the facetious/good natured sarcasm....we love it❤
lol retired teacher of ninth graders here, so my response when I saw Axe car freshners was a solid "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh now that's funny 😂😂 I can only imagine, Yuck 😅
I'd consider using it as a gag gift, depending who I get in this year's Secret Santa.
My son as a teenager used it leaving my car smelling all day 🤢. I’m with you……NOOOOOOO.
I thought the same thing!!!!!
Decorating idea: Buy the 3-pack of LED tea lights and place a tea light under the metal Christmas truck or inside the metal Christmas beetle car. That would be super cute!
I love your well organized, stocked and clean store! Wish mine was like that.
Ours look like tornados have blown through them.
Where I live things get opened and stolen 😮😮
You deserve to win the UA-cam version of the Emmy! 🏆
Ain’t that the truth 🫶👏👏👏👏👏
I appreciate that you test almost every product you mention! The dollar store is always a hit or miss, you really help show what works for real.
I really wanted to see how the lipstick looked. 😅
@ now THAT would have been commitment 😂😂
The plastic rotating hooks can also be used in the laundry room for air drying small items.

I prefer to use the battery operated candles when our lights go out, we have cats, and it's much safer 😊
I've found a lot of USB rechargeable lamps on Amazon that put out a decent amount of light. We keep one in every room and they work great.
Wax melts are another option, they are flameless and smell great 😀
If you put the wax into a metal barrel with 2 pieces of 2x2s and put like 10 candles in there with the 2 pieces of wood and light it it will keep you warm and light up a fairly decent size and last a lot longer than the candles would by themselves.

I did the same comparison with the dollar tree dishwasher pods. I bought them, they work and a heck of a lot cheaper than Cascade.
Good to know. Thanks 😊
Those dishwasher liquids and pods are ridiculously priced you're right.
After your video, I bought the mini vacuum for my two year old. It's perfect for him cleaning up his snack crumbs off the couch. He's loves it.
Might be a good little cleaner for a car. I'm going to check it out just to see
Great idea!
Good job starting early. That's definitely going to pay off.
How old is he? That’s great. Get kids cleaning make it fun.

So true!

😂😂😂
My dollar tree always looks like the apocalypse just occurred. Stuff haphazardly laying about and empty shelves. Last night, no register lights on, no cashier at the front! Creepy.
It was Halloween after all, probably out getting candy 😅
You must shop at the same one I do.

The plastic rotating organizer could be used as a plant saucer to catch water.
Those little hand held vacuums are perfect for cleaning off your cutting mat after cutting quilt fabric or crafts.
What a great idea. I used to do punch cut outs and all the tiny bits of paper from the intricate cuts get everywhere!!!
If only all the DTs carried all these products sigh
I agree!
Look online if you can't find it in the stores.
I rarely need a case of anything sold at Dollar Tree.
I wish my DTs were this clean lol
