7yr ago I sold everything took off in my camper to Scotland. Spent the Yr tripping around and now have my perfect sandstone cottage... take your time, and remember to check out the borders and Dumfries and Galloway..

Found the house on Google maps and the estate agent's listing - perfect renovation project, especially with the workshop included! We are also looking for something similar in Scotland.
This may be a far out there idea, but because you have Custard maybe buy some land and build on it overtime while staying in custard? Just an idea in case you don't find that dream home you two can create it!
We have heard 100 opinions on what we should do and know the absolute dream probably wont be a reality so we're using our wise heads and pointing out the pros and cons and what we can and cant live without! - i hope we do find something very soon!!
I know you didn’t do it in this vlog, but because of your openness - I started meditation this week and it’s made a world of difference. Hoping you won in the silent bid for the house!
A great way to store extra or out of season clothes ( like a parka just in case you go somewhere that you didn't expect would be cold ) ... is to get, or sew, just some pillow covers with zippers or velcro closures, and stuff them with the extra clothes instead of foam cushions. Great for storing extra blankets, sheets, towels, socks, underwear, gym clothes, ( and all your crazy costumes and other get-ups), etc. Then you have plenty of useful throw pillows for the bed or sofa.

My husband is super OCD so he keeps the house clean and does the laundry, but he also wakes me up to feed him if he gets super hungry. I never complain, it’s a great trade!
Amy can’t you have a little movable table built and added to the area where you sit in Custard. This way you could sit your tablet a do your social media or eat your snacks.

Your bike walking clip made me laugh - my wife and I used to walk our Radrunner up way too many hills so we decided to get the "special" controller. We didn't need the extra speed, but since upgrading the controller we have never once had to get off and walk. So worth it!

I have an old beetle and a modern convertible and these roads are great for driving in the summer time but can be treacherous in the winter with heavy snow and flooding. Beautiful part of the country. I now live on the coast about 40 minutes drive away. Good luck
