I will say the "Im not selling anything" has helped me in field and ive gotten plenty of deals with that one liner. I actually got the one liner from Taylor Mccarthy whos an absolute bull on the doors so i feel like its good when needed but not on every door we are met with "NOT INTERESTED".

In reality they aren’t being sold rather then being given information they can read and learn about and later make a decision into buying what we are selling. So no, technically we’re not selling them anything not straight away at least. Just informing them.

saying you're not there to generate interest is just as much of a lie as saying you're not there to sell anything. If you're a d2d setting solar appointments you're actually there to generate interest and not sell anything. I could be seeing this wrong I'm brand new to this. Thanks for the content
Instead of all this effort with smokescreens, just put door hangers everywhere. That way the people who ARE interested will contact you. It’s very effective!
Im in a saturated market when i say i need to tell you whats going on.. thus the rate increase they say are you solar ? Not interested or my rates haven’t increased. Around 99% of the time. Many in my area havent faced large rate increases yet. Any advice?

Yet the proper company could be right in front of you but you chose to ignore them. Often the problem can be that the salesperson is being pushy. I was taught not to be pushy. I’d rather help and show you the results than just simply say to sell. Rather answer and listen to all your comments and concerns you may have. Like normal human beings.

Heck when is the last time you went through your whole social media feed and clicked on each add and bought something that interested you or something you where recently looking up? The difference is now there is a person tied to it so you have to be social.
It’s natural to have sales reluctance. I’ve had many customers with your initial resistance realize how silly they were being once they actually heard my message. Most people aren’t don’t have the courage to knock on your door without a very good reason. Maybe hear them out? Cheers!

You guys can spat anything you want out of your mouths, but the end goal is to sell solar panels. The 'I'm here to help you' is a bunch of crap. This is the reason I have cameras and don't answer the door.
I'll clear up a misconception- I don't want solar panels on my roof. I don't want the wall panel. I don't want the wires on my power box. I don't want solar. Unless you're company is willing to do the work from start to finish for no more than $5,000 including parts, labor, equipment, 3rd party, etc... Everything, don't bother knocking on my door. Yes. $5,000 would be all I'd want to pay for solar. I don't care about how much it normally costs. I don't care about how much it would be per month compared to my current electric bill. I don't care that power walls and batteries are more expensive. That's the most I'd pay for something I have to tear down and replace in 10 years. For a house my size and my current power needs in the summer, the average price for installation would be around $60,000 to $70,000 and I'd have to replace the panels and batteries in about 10 years. I'll pay $5,000 and no more. If you can't do it (and do it well!) I don't want it. "Oh, but batteries...." Nope. Lithium Ion Batteries are unsafe. I'm not letting you charge me big money for something that can spontaneously ignite with the simplest fault. $5,000 and no more. "Oh but Lithium batteries are safe" Then you won't mind signing a contract promising me a new house of equal size and value if the batteries cause a fire. Those are my terms. So far, none of the Solar salesmen have been willing to meet those terms. 4 visits so far.
Don’t drink the Kool Aid. No means no. If I want a product or service I will seek it out. If the sales person persists I will have them trespassed from my property.
