You often times get inpatient, cut your prospect off and enter objection handling mode. From there you throw logic reasoning and facts to help support your solution.
‘Mr Smith, I know how you feel, others have felt the same way and this is what they found’ …this has been around since 1950!

What if you’re working hot leads that have specific detailed questions? Do you answer those directly or say something like, “something that works for most of clients is XYZ“
Is it possible that the word you were looking for was "de-fuse" rather than "diffuse"? I don't think we want to spread the objection around or thin it out; aren't we trying to keep it from blowing up the sale?
