- It's once again time for your yearly Sandman PSA. This year, however, I've got other plans. It's time for a replacement Sandman.

With the addition of VSH, the Sandman has a bit of a niche due to its ability to slow down Hale by a considerable amount
Yeah, but i think it is something similar to the medieval mode, where something like the sharpened volcano fragment is kinda good
And -10 hp doesn't matter much since Saxton kills you in the same amount of hits anyways.
Yeah, it’s actually pretty good because most of Saxton’s power lies in his mobility.
The foosball one seems like it could be an actual tf2 weapon
Heaven does have THREE foosball tables
Turns out Scout really wasn’t lying when he said: “I should put a big red A on this thing for ‘ALL SPORTS,’ cause that’s my specialty.”
now that i think about it it is really strange that scout has 4 different version of a baseball bat but then all of his other melee weapons are just random shit that have nothing to do with sports. I would love to see some of these concepts made into actual weapons
valve should buff the sandman by having it play an intensely loud baseball homerun jingle, similar to the machina’s pierce kills, when you hit enemies at max range. Promise me guys the sandman will be so op after this change, it may even need to be nerfed.
Ping Pong stats:
-50% less melee damage
-Ball bounces back when it hits an enemy. Each time you hit it back to an enemy the damage increases

Foosball stats:
-15% less stun time
+15% more melee damage
•Automatically reflects balls back from users of the same weapon
•Ball gains more damage and stun time for every time it is reflected

The team player
It's a arm from mini football table
On spawn 5 random class dolls (only resets on death)
You get a 100% crit on that class if doll is present and is consumed
10% more dmg
30% slower swing speed
Alternatively class doll is spawned on kill with any weapon

let’s just say that if a baseball to the head is supposed to stun you, then a cricket ball to the head would probably kill you, lol
I like the ping pong one because its more accurate to how much damage the sandman actually deals.
I love it when people make mods like the firework one and give it to the Sandman even though the Wrap Assassin is right there. Then again, I probably wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't in this video, so in a cosmic sort of way the Sandman isn't all that bad.
For the next video all i have to say is "That brick's a bloody spy!"

The Fireworks Sandman would work better as a mod for the Wrap Assassin, because at least then, the ball could explode. Just saying.

Abit late to the Party but here is a fun fact
In Portugal we call those "Matraquilhos" wich is kinda of a pun on a word that quite literally means "The Balls Killer" in English because getting hit by those iron rods in the groin while playing really freaking hurts, wich is kinda fitting for a weapon for scout that throws balls at people.
Oh my god... Seeing dm_vikings at 0:45 after all these years hit me so damned hard in the nostalgia feels. I wish I had words for how deeply I miss the DM maps like Vikings and Store...
You need to audition for acting as scout for a tf2 movie(if it ever comes to be)
I thought it would be intesting if the sandman could disable sentries for 2-3 seconds for the scout to run past with a cooldown that doesn't get restocked from the lockers so you can't spam it. Someone on the workshop already made a different bat with the same kind of idea.

The firework seems more like a caber reskin
the Sandman should be able to whack projectiles.
My favorite one is the hockey stick coz its much better plus scout has only few non baseball bats tho

in tc2 (roblox tf2) the sandman is actually balanced since it doesnt reduce your health and better melee options exist to balance out the removal of the health penalty (grill scout) also the atomizer makes you take 10 damage on triple jump making basically every melee on the same page in terms of power (including stock bat and fish?????????????)
I still remember the days when sandman was good... I remember when you used tu fully stun people and throw a guillotine in their face
Sad that it was nerfed because the 10 people who play highlander complaining too loud instead of just banning the weapon
