Speaking of they see me baggin', I actually had completed this by accident not too long ago. I, at least, wasn't even trying it, we just had some people run transporter, throw the bags to the second floor, then just carry them by foot the rest of the way. Honestly forgot I hadn't even finished it before. Kinda interesting seeing how it was considered a really tough achievement back then, but now you can just do it without even really thinking about it.
I use to play with friends on Console and the reason why the Difficulty achievements on Crimwave are so low is because they don't work backwards like on PC. Doing a heist on DW doesn't count as doing it on OVK, compared to PC where you do a new heist on DS and get 50 achievements playing the heist once.
@@ekSil0 also none of the masks except for the infamy reward masks are tied to achievements. I accidentally earned the one down mask in PD2 for console by playing Crime Spree
9:53 - actually there is really simple way of doing this solo. On 2nd day of loud training heist, there is scripted event where you trade civilian for bot in custody. Equipd Bush mask, do this, restart mission, do 6 more times, and done.
@@mefistofellchannel3534 Witch doctor wasn't too hard, it just so happened to nicely complement my main Inspire build with lobbies. But that sure is one way to grind it.
@@embersworkshop I just add notice to main comment about 2nd day of assault tutorial. Also I remember how farm 60 Ukrainian job with Mark mask for achiv XD... I guess people don't like use those mask so achivs with them not so famous
I remember the time when I almost got the Dr.Misreable, because I was playing in a public lobby and someone bagged all engines. We secured every wrong engine until there were two engines left. We agreed to wait the few more minutes and get a rare achievement. We sent the correct engine, meaning we spent over an hour for nothing
First time I did it was online on the ps3 version but that was also unintentional and before ei learned how to figure out the right one and was what inspired me to learn how to get the right one.
@@fiyahquacker2835 I just realized that Dr. Miserable is apparently a trophy on the PS3 version of Payday 2 but not the PS4 version... Also, it still amuses me that I'll do Big Oil and tell people "No, it's definitely this engine" and they'll freak out like "HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW THAT???" Even to this day.
I did it because I didn't stealth the first day because I really, REALLY hate stealth so I had zero idea what to do. I sent every single engine and due to my consistently horrible luck it was the last one that was correct. The funny thing is because I play on console my game glitched and deleted my save. When I did the heist again for the story, the exact same thing happened. The last one I sent was correct. I spent over an hour each time.
I had to farm both jumping cloaker achievements because I don’t normally use shotguns or the GL40. Took 3 boring hours on Underpass to make it happen. Terrible afternoon.
When I was first starting out in pd2 I actually did Doctor horrible the only problem was I didn't know doctor horrible was an achievement I just thought the engines were bags of loot so I just took all of them
Completed it on accident during a crime spree, couldn’t figure out which engine was the right one so we just grabbed all of them on the grounds that ‘we’ll get it eventually. And we did. 57 minutes in. AAAAAA.
I remember getting Tabula Rasa with my crew... it was SO hard, but we were SUPER hyped when we eventually did it. To me, that is the sign of a good, difficult achievement.
When I did it the first time with a friend of mine, day 1 was an absolute nightmare. We were basically living off of doctor bags and having to take cover at every opportunity. The game apparently took pity on us for day 2 because we got the best RNG imaginable which I have still never beat 7 years later and probably set a speedrun record at the time
6:53 Perk decks were already in the game by the time Tabula Rosa was added. Perk decks were added on day 5 of Crimefest 2014, whereas Hoxton Breakout, along with Tabula Rosa, were added about a week later on day 12. Though certainly some of the perk decks we have now are a lot better than what existed at the time. The main reasons Tabula Rosa is much easier now than it was originally is slightly better weapons thanks to boost mods and the AK/CAR mod pack, the ability to bring deployables such as doc bags or first aid kits (previously all of them were tied to skills), and the ability to equip crew abilities and crew boosts to AI teammates such as Accelerator and Quick.
It was also back with the old skill trees. Not that bad since you can't use skill points anyways, until you remember that deployables were only unlocked by spending your first skill point in their respective trees.
I remember beating Tabula Rasa both Deathwish solo and with regular bruhs, this was before Grinder was released. Gods damn that was amazing. Everything felt incredibly easier after that. Admittedly we got good RNG with the crew i used to derp around with.
I think one down, no more to go is the hardest achievement in current day pd bar none. Yeah, caution wet floors is hard but u can get it done with a couple hours of grinding. The end achievement is a lot easier today and can also be completed fairly easily if u have friends. In comparison one down, no more to go requires a lot of skill, a good team (depending on the heist)& a massive time investment. P.S. also every few months you don't complete this it gets harder
That last bit is what makes it the hardest IMO. If you don't own even a single one of the Heist DLC's, it is literally impossible without spending real money to get that achievement. I can't even get the Normal difficulty mask unless I spend $15+ (I think) to buy the heists added after Border Crossing. As they're the only ones I haven't played...since I don't own them lol
Dsod achievement isnt that hard if you just learn the way to play it Dlc heists - Join a pub with This heist If you joined before game started / restart you should be fine The only struggle is goat sim
Thanks for the shoutout, I appreciate the amount of work you've put into this video, like researching into the various versions across PC and consoles!
I have played with a large variety of mods in the past and I've definitely been rewarded with otherwise hard to get achievements that I did not deserve by accident Nothing too major and nothing I couldn't pull off now without mods after getting so many hours in About a year and a half ago I began a grind to legitimately get my remaining achievements and there have been moments where I've only been one away but didn't have the dlc needed at that moment Then another dlc would come out just before I got the last one I needed --- With the introduction of infamy 3.0 I put it on a hold until I get to infamy 100, I'm currently on 77 but haven't been playing as much recently
I remember getting “farmer miserable” on solo overkill and it was complete hell. Took me like an hour and a half just to get all the goats and i almost died about 3/4 through. Almost got “doctor miserable” on accident just cause i didnt know how to find the right engine, but i got it right on the second to last one. Although I learned the trick since then Big Oil is probably my least played heist because of the trauma of that experience.
Fun Fact: I've gotten Gunpowder Glory by complete accident while playing the heist in Crime Spree. I guess I was just lucky enough for the cops to not choose the pathfinding route through the fountain
Wet floors was certainly a frustrating achievement, but it can be somewhat easier if you run grinder/anarchist with a turret and ammo bags on overkill so you can focus on the escort, the biggest pain of an achievement out of all for me was DSOD lab rats.
Note; the 'i did not have relations with that bulldozer' tracks completion across multiple heists. You just need to be wearing the mask when reviving people. So you can probably knock that one down in terms of difficulty. I've gotten a couple of these ones by accident, and several on purpose. I went out of my way to complete The Secret, along with three other friends. I was the unlucky one who had to complete Overdrill to unlock it too, Lol. So we did that too.
At least you didn’t have to complete The Sound of Silence. I’d rather do Overdrill 100 times than complete the Allesso Heist without killing anyone, and you can quote me on that. Do note I didn’t just equip ICTV Anarchist and cheese me way by going loud, I actually did it stealthily as intended-
As a casual player for me it was "High Roller". Playing quickly, especially solo is not a strong suit of mine, always a :Take your time" kinda guy so clearing the mission within 14 minutes was tough. I barely earned that, but I love how it looks on Jacket, his skin tone matches the skin tone on the headpiece perfectly.
God I remember being so salty about the FBI luck alarm achievement, I've tried it for weeks! Going solo for it because there is no way I'm dragging a friend to this RNG achievement hole, gave up and took a break after countless retries, and then my friend got it in their first try when they're doing it solo themselves.
I personally vote for "A moment of silence" Breaking feds, you need to distract Garret so often until he gets food poisoning and not kill any guards. I got that by accident when I tried to DSOD it, didn't even know it exists.
The secret ending honestly feels like it was invented while the developers were on acid, and the first guy to solve it deserves a copy of Payday 3 for free
Hey! Maniac is fun to use, specially in low difficulties where it's insane when coupled with Frenzy, it could use a small rework though, make it use percentages instead of set numbers.
I think every kind of speedrun achievement is very hard to get, because it requires a lot of mechanical skill, map knowledge, skilled teammates and research for optimal run.
A good example of how not many people getting an achievement doesn’t equal hard to get is to complete a heist without jumping. Not hard to do, just do bank heist gold stealth and don’t jump
This video definetly brought out mu inner achievement hunter. I recently hit 1,000 hours in Payday 2 and I only have 80% of achievments. After this video, Ill be looking to make that 100%. Sadly however, one achievment is illegitimate. When I was young and stupid I played a game with a hacker who auto completed Overdrill and I got the achievement. Hpoihg to make that right soon. In any case, great video, I can't wait to see more.
Btw just for people who don’t know, you can throw the bags onto the ai and they’ll carry it then you can grab it off their back when you need, almost noone knows the trick lol
The sheer anger I experienced while completing Tabula Rasa is borderline unmatched, I had no friends to help with me so I had to do this solo, without AI assisting me, on Overkill difficulty, with really bad guns. Safe to say, I'm glad I never have to experience Tabula Rasa ever again.
I’m gonna say “wait there was a car?” Because I got it because I genuinely didn’t know there was a car on that heist. I was there for like an hour using forklifts to move nuclear warheads and genuinely was unaware that there was a car to move the loot
6:45 I thought that was just some sort of funny challenge overkill wanted us to do. I didnt find it all to hard, I just went hard into Grinder and anything to make the bots help me survive.
I remember one of the first times I played Big oil in a public lobby, accidentally got the real fusion machine mixed in with the other ones, and, because I have terrible luck, we got Dr. Miserable on accident. Needless to say, my team was NOT happy with me.
I started playing Payday 2 on the ps3 maybe around 2014 or 2015, I honestly don't remember They See Me Baggin' as a difficult achievement as I wasn't even aware i had unlocked it after months of playing. Same for the random players I met online there. I remember having more of a waaaay difficult time with Guessing Game taking me 2 weeks to achieve. (Short Fuse was also kind of difficult too since it was challenging to find random players with mics and actually cooperative on the PS3)
I had the platinum for both ps3 and ps4 versions and I can easily say that the short fuse and sounds of animals fighting were the hardest for me as a solo player. I had to look for teams on forums for both, short fuse taking not too long to do so, but sounds of animals fighting took me nearly 6 years on and off reddit to do since I didn't go for the achievement when it was first released. I always prayed they would change it so AI counted for the trophy but unless they've done it since I completed it in mid 2021 then it's nearly impossible to find people on console in general because it's heavily neglected with a near dead playerbase. Hoping Payday 3 will at least be more generous on console and/or allow for cross platform so achievement hunting and heisting in general is easier and more fun.
@@shamaking3196 I feel like I've just completely blocked that trophy from my memory, I can't remember if I struggled or got lucky but there's a good chance I struggled. I do remember the only hard thing about level 100 in comparison with the other hard trophies was how boring it was because of the restart mission exploit on rats day 3.
RBR was certainly the most rewarding completion back in the day, but I always chose to do achievements solo when possible. This made timed achievements like the one for Scarface mansion really difficult. I'll never forget finishing 12 Angry Minutes with a time of 11:58 solo stealth. Also, big thanks to Mr Wombat for walking me through The End!
I agree on this list. The Green Bridge one was a nightmare to complete. I am still missing several achievements but almost all of them require a full 4 man team.
I was playing payday 2 a i was killing cops with the flametrower and i sang " burn baby burn " and the moment those words left my mouth i got the " disco inferno " achievement 😂
i remember doing The End achievement with a friend. just 2 of us with 2 bots. im defending and he's looking up the translation for the quiz's answer. we never felt so satisfied upon completing it
Something of note for "The Secret" If you get a Bad Achievement, you can complete some Achievements (Any of them. Even if they are not on the Possible List for The Secret) and replay the Song on the Piano. That WILL reroll the Achievement(s) you need to do.
Any that requires a full team are the hardest, as none of my friends play PAYDAY2 I need to play with randoms, and we all know how fun it is to play with randoms...
Caution Wet Floors took me 2 attempts, I don't understand why everyone thinks that it is difficult to complete. Anarchist on overkill is borderline immortal even in a suit, bring an automatic sniper and a grenade launcher, 2 ammo bags and clear the areas that don't have many cars before moving the prisoner so he doesn't get stuck, as he only really stops moving if cops approach him.
Honestly I don't think any of the achievements are that hard to complete as of today. There are plenty that were insanely difficult when they came out but are not that bad now. Most achievements are just time consuming and/or annoying due to rng. I suspect that the completion rates are so low because most people never even attempt or look at the achievements.
using steam metrics is very unreliable due to how they calculate rarity. as long as somebody owns the game they are counted in the achievement unlock count
watching this and thinking about how i was carried through DSOD by friends through all the new DLC they added i had a friend stealth a few with me on DSOD when i didn't own them gotta love the pd2 community and their willingness to offer up their dlc for others
My favorite achievement has to be Damn it Bile!, purely because of how funny it was the first time it happened, and it gave me a good laugh when I did big oil stealth the first time.
Doing the secret ending itself isn't actually all that hard. I'm not referring to all the prerequisites and all the knowledge of the riddles and all that, only the heist itself. All you need to do is, do the heist in Offline mode and bring 4 turrets with the skill for AP rounds and one ammo bag (just in case really, ammo wasn't a problem for me). Set up the turrets to defend you before activating the gate and then make screenshots of the riddles as they appear. Then you can pause the game, figure out the answers and even determine how often you need to pull each lever without any ammo being wasted while you do that. Then unpause and put in your answers, while your turrets keep the cloakers off of you with high ammo efficiency. Check every now and then that your turrets still have enough ammo, but that's quick and easy.
A huge issue with console is that everyone has at least 1 achievement that is literally impossible because who knows? I can’t even get the flamingo ones on scareface even though my friends get it. Not to mention that one of my friends hasn’t been able to get the death wish achievement for a few of the heists, it’s sad really
Getting all levels on Death Wish was probably the achievement I struggled with most mostly for circumstansial and personal reasons, rather than mechanical. The Death Wish of today is nothing when compared to how brutal it was back in 2016. Also I had only just gotten into the game back then, making it even more challenging.
I did "Caution! Wet floor" in a crime spree. I recommend try do this achievement there, because: if you miss, you can't just restart the mission, you have to continue and do the job quick. It's less frustrating and less boring than restart again, again, again the job because you made a mistake in a jump. If you missed, you missed the opportunity and you have to continue until have other try.
Me and two other friends 100%ed the game about two years ago. We haven't played much recently, so we're a couple dozen achievements down, but my vote is absolutely for the One Down achievement. Goat Simulator and Lab Rats were truly hell for all of us. In fact only one of us actually escaped on GS, the other two of us got shot out of the car right outside the tunnel if I recall correctly. Wet Floors is a good contender for #2, but we let the same friend that escaped GSOD do it for us while we provided cover from the scaffolding. One time he got tazed mid-jump and we all absolutely lost it.
6:55 funny enough perk decks became a thing during the same first crimefest that released Breakout, but yes none of them were the ones you built your loadout around like nowadays
Ill never forget the euphoria me and myone other friend felt when we beat Goat Sim DSOD as just a duo (with bots). It was our last one and we nailed it after several attempts struggling on day 1
People tend to forget that overkill really used to be difficult back then, even after the first skill rework and the addition of perk derks (but not yet obviously overpowered perk decks like anarchist, hacker, stoic or leech) and the AI update. They don't know or remember that in part many of these things were intoduced to make death wish more actually fun and accessible. But there's really a kind of feeling that you get from having had all difficulty skulls at some point and not having access to them anymore because they added more heists, most of which are behind dlc you don't own and almost no one plays on pubs.
Instead of translating the alien text i just googled the list of all possible achievements and completed all of them. Certainly took longer but im lazy.
This was a really interesting video to see, as I'm someone that 100% the Crimewave edition for Xbox, and just moved to PC about a month ago. I'm nearing 900 achievements now, still not quite sure how to survive DSOD, that's a big roadblock for me
@@hazza1066 I just need to figure out how to use Leech. I've been an Anarchist player for so long, a perk deck where I have to actively manage it is a bit difficult for me
@@amicosayshi865 once you take 40% health (or more, nobody's perfect) pop the Ampule and kill what you can, it's an absolute beast at doing objectives as you can place a first aid kit, start doing the objective, pop the ampule and sit there for a whole 10 seconds if needed. Even if it's a bit longer then the FAK will fully restore your HP.
It’s only tangentially related, but I have just recently went from console to PC and was trying to do Big Oil in full stealth. I was having issues with Day 3 and had finally got the right engine for Dr. Fantastic to the runway… and the helicopter pilot tripped the goddamn alarm. I didn’t even know that was possible, but it gave an achievement so I guess I traded one for another
Auction Cry solo was one of the most disgusting achievements I have ever done in a game, will never forget that one. As for 14:20 I played on safehouse nightmare where sometimes a shitload of cloakers spawn and got it that way
I remember way back when the game first released, They See Me Baggin’ was completely absurd. Now, it isn’t that bad. Pre-Grinder Tabula Rasa was also fairly annoying, but keep in my mind this was like PEAK Rogue only days. There were some achievements that were mechanical-based that more often than not just bugged out for me, despite meeting the requirements. I remember the Scarface Mansion and Shacklethorne speedrun achievements just irritating me because 9/10 times, I’d get so close to completion then have the game do it’s usual thing of constantly doing whatever the hell it wants. Short Fuse I remember not being all too bad because usually the goal of the lobby back then was to get every last bag. So all I really had to do was host, ask people who joined to spec into Fast Hands or whatever that Ghost skill was that upped your interaction time, open all briefcases before bagging a single bundle, asked them not to defuse the C4 and throw the bags out the window. Usually worked. The all-time worst achievement was Farmer Miserable on release. Goat Sim ran like ass and it was rare to make it to Day 2 and not crash. The only reason I got it was a cheater was in the lobby and we managed to convince him to stay and the do the achievement for us. That was before I reset my account and just beat it normally because, as things tend to go, when have 4000+ hours, one heist for 40+ minutes isn’t as bad as it used to be when you have Anarchist and Bots. Most difficulty-based achievements now aren’t as bad as people think once they learn the game, make a competent build and learn the map. Though on release of One Down, it was a different story. I still have PTSD from Lab Rats though. I have ran that map maybe 4 times in my entire life and will never play it again. Bomb: Forest is just a slog. More often than not, I ran Demo Expert to get the best spawns, if I didn’t I reset. It was mostly just waiting for Fades constantly to move so it was more of a time sink. I remember when I got The End, my plan was really simple. It was an Overkill achievement, so it wasn’t all too hard, having every other achievement in the game already helped a lot ngl. I ran Poison Arrows, Shuriken and I think Anarchist or Muscle. If not them then it was something basic that basically kept me safe while I focused on the last word of the riddle and solved it while the bots shot anything that moved.
I recently reinstalled PD2 after a 5.5 year hiatus and immediately balked at getting most of the AK/CAR mod unlocks again, as virtually nobody I know now is playing the game again and several of those flat out require multiple people to complete. "Not Today", incidentally, I did get while specifically hunting for it because I remembered a little trick I came up with to get it the first time I played. A little hint: Four Stores has some interesting ceiling duct placement, especially the donut shop with its huge, alley-facing window...
I remember how i once tried to do Overvault with a bunch of friends. Yeah, we got totally squished despite our best efforts, and never even managed to get into the elevator room.
So far i "only" have 680 achievements, but one of the most frustrating i can think of is "Sound of Silence" - Complete the Alesso heist without your crew killing anyone. (Stated in Description:) Your AIs' kills do count. I chose to do this loud (on Normal, to be basically invincible lol), since it doesn't have to be stealth. Since i was not able to kill the cops, they could endlessly shut off the computer/power, without me being able to respond. This slowed down the hacking by about 4 attempts (atleast 5 or 8 minutes each) and 10 minutes. On one occasion cops stormed into the camera room while i was fixing the computer and i got stuck, and the cops proceeded to rapidly melee me into a corner. In my panic to get out i proceeded to melee a cop to death, rendering the run void. But after restarting, eventually, the hack did complete, and it was much easier from there. Though to place the c4 i would have to drive the forklift, which would kill any cops if i drove into them. Luckily the cops hadn't reached me yet so i just parked the forklift under the c4 placement. Everything else was relatively easy from there on out. The pyrotechnics were just avoiding the cops until i had to press the button(s) and fix the hardware whenever needed. Then i just cut out the loot, grabbed 3 bags (Normal difficulty requirement), brought them up to the container and left. At the end i was just holding my breath for the achievement to pop. Luckily it did
I tried that one twice so far, and in my first attempt i got meleed to death, and on the second i got past the hacking, but got handcuffed while doing the pyrotechnics, congrats on being built different
@@jpluis5263 Thanks, i almost got meleed to death in that one instance (when i panicked to leave the camera room), but i hadn't even thought about the handcuffs. Good luck if you're gonna reattempt it though!
@@jpluis5263 my advice would be to dominate the the guards on the bottom lvl and the 2 guards that patrol the 2 possible areas for loot in stealth then cable tie the 3 civs nearby and be careful. This was done on ds so it would definitely be easier on overkill or below but alesso on ds-od stealth just makes sense to me.
As someone who spent 3 hours attempting the Not Today achievement so I could have full wood finish G3 I can confirm that when you're actually trying to do this achievement it's incredibly frustrating.
Imo overdrill was one if not the best achievment to do with my buddies. We went in and while 2 bagged money the other 2 were sprinting down the elevators killing at spawn points
There was a point in Payday2's life where I got all but 8 of the achievements, back when it was around 650 achievements or so. Right now I'm at 1007 Achievements, including the DW mask, from back when that was the hardest difficulty and a group of friends and I are occasionally working towards 'The Secret', I think we need like 10-15 of the achievements in total, of the list of achievements from the list.
It's not difficult at all anymore, but I would like to nominate the old version of We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat. For those unaware about how old Transport: Train worked, here are the biggest differences: 1. There were *40* bags of ammo total and every single one was required for the achievement (the ammo was optional to clear the heist itself) 2. The ammo bags were destructible. Shooting it, it falling a long distance, or a bad horoscope would cause them to blow up, and yes it could cause chain reactions 3. Instead of the unique vault opening in stealth we have now, Bile would drop the thermal drill that you'd put on each vault. Bile did not blow the alarm so stealthing this was possible, but it was even less reliable back then as stealthing Transport: Train was unintentional If you know how to use drill noise exploits, or had an organised crew and a good strategy, it was achievable, and it was doable on any difficulty, but there were so many points it could go wrong.
Tabula Rasa was pretty hard, but I managed to do it with a friend and two bots, and man, it was a rush to be able to get such a hard achievement. Was really fun.
I have the Hard mask from my early days, but this was before DS, and the shifting of difficulties (or maybe the late addition of a normal mask?) means that I don't have a Normal mask. I play Mayhem usually, I've paid a lot of money for DLC, and I'm having plenty of fun without the 2019-2022 heists, but it sucks knowing I'm locked out of even just the Normal mask until I pay up. 😅
The hardest achievement I have obtained is Sound Of Silence, not only do you have to be a passive, but you have to make sure you don't bump into guards, accidentally break cameras, have severe trigger discipline, and carry all needed loot. I will admit, I did it on Normal, solo with AI, which not only made the Loot part harder, but it took me quite some time as I don't do stealth enough to even consider myself having any skill in it, It took me countless times of trial and error to nearly gather all possible knowledge to know where to place sensor mines so I can easily keep track of guards. I still proudly wear that Boombox mask from the day I got it, albeit, with the Rainbow Material and Hexagon pattern and turned it into the "Box of Shielding", I wear it anytime I decide to go loud and the other 5% of the time if I decide to go stealth, I normally use the standard Britnite mask or Batshit Crazy goggles.
@@KptnYggdra the way I did it was to dominate 4 specific guards out of sight of any cams (since like with big bank the cams aren't too annoying) then do the same with civs that could see them then just stealth it normally as ya do. The 4 guards are the 2 in the basement where you get the loot and the 2 guards on the second floor that patrol in the same area as the burger boy and the woman that walks around where you generally have to take the loot to in stealth.
@@KptnYggdra Where does it say Stealth? It doesnt. Do it on normal. Wear an ICTV. Equip Sicario. Get a buddy with the same gear, just in case you get cuffed. Now, the cops can't kill you. And at no point do you actually need to kill THEM either.
The most challenging things for solving the secret weren't in game, and even still for the final puzzle that you need to do, it's a normal heist till you get there, no major execution issues, compared to never making a single mistake for an entire heist
I remember i got that one by accident because one of the public randoms had the Grinder perk deck when it just released and he ran around the house the entire heist killing all enemies as soon as they spawned
Ah yes, the secret ending and all that ARG. I applaud for the courageous one who worked they way to the secret ending, I also happen to be a really good friend of one of them (Orange Cheese Puff Horse; should be on the right side, close to top) One crazy bastard, but quite the Brainiac when it comes to payday
Actually, I did "I did not have sexual relations with that dozer" by myself with bots. Did night club. Posted a bot behind the area of the stair well to the management office facing the snipers. Went downstairs, and waited for the bit to be overwhelmed and taken into custody, while calling back bots from helping them. Went rather quickly.
Personally, after watching Kknowley's video about the Payday lore, I got inspired to get the true ending myself. But one of the achievements is in fact Overdrill, and I have no friends that play the game and coordinating a random lobby is horrible. I am tempted to reroll the list, but I already did 13 out of the 20. Wish me luck, man. I'm gonna need it
ngl, if you can handle dw then its kind of easy to find randoms. sit in lobby and wait for them to fill, say youre doing overdrill. if they stick around all you gotta do is follow an online guide and youll be alright. its what i did and it worked out alright
For you who want the “caution! Wet floor!” Achievement from personal expirence you can actually bring bot ai with you and also before opening the van use a health based deck like stoic lbv with die hard ace and iron man basic for more health and then get a convert or two, I got through it with little difficulty besides annoyance, also bring a katana or melee weapon with long range or else you will probably restart a bajillion times which is not fun (this achievement made me break my keyboard) ALSO don’t forget about the bot boosts for movement and health that will make your life so much better, with parkour basic and the bot boost you move fast enough to jump between each car
Back in the day before the new difficulties the Armored Transport Heists on DW were some of the most difficult heists in my opinion given how little cover the maps had.
My gripe with some hard or plain BS achievments is that THEY HAVE WEAPON MODS LOCKED BY THEM (Most BS NOTORIOUSLY the CAR and AK butcher pack ones, one of which with FOUR MODS needing it being a FOUR PLAYER ONLY achievment and another that needs a SPEEDRUN of a specific heist)
Another issue with the "complete all heists" at or above certain difficulty level, is that DLC heists ARE part of it.... And i am NOT someone in a place with enough players hosting PD2 games to try, meaning i HAVE to now buy ANY DLC with a heist, go and run it within the difficulty needed, while relying on the wonk AI support that isn't as useful past Mayhem without either a mod to boost their AI or put them with LMGs and hope you can do the heists as optimally as possible.
Awesome video! though I've since stopped playing payday, the achievement I'm most proud I got is Salem Asylum, that damn achievement took me so long, so I was kinda surprised it wasn't mentioned lol
Same, I literally got it last night!
Because the game in its current state is really unbalanced.
I did the exact same thing, i got bored waiting for the plane!
It was one of the first achievements I got early on back when I started playing in 2014 because we just refused to leave any bag behind.
@@bodhiblack731 exactly how i got it solo. took like 4 resets but i eventually made it in time
I use to play with friends on Console and the reason why the Difficulty achievements on Crimwave are so low is because they don't work backwards like on PC. Doing a heist on DW doesn't count as doing it on OVK, compared to PC where you do a new heist on DS and get 50 achievements playing the heist once.
This
that's actually really interesting!
@@ekSil0 also none of the masks except for the infamy reward masks are tied to achievements. I accidentally earned the one down mask in PD2 for console by playing Crime Spree
Precisely..most people just do NOT want to go through every single heist on DW let alone fuckin Very Hard lmao
It does these days. That's how I got my Platinum last year!
9:53 - actually there is really simple way of doing this solo. On 2nd day of loud training heist, there is scripted event where you trade civilian for bot in custody. Equipd Bush mask, do this, restart mission, do 6 more times, and done.
Clever
Also about this day: at start you have 1-2 bots down....you can use witch mask and farm "Witch Doctor" achiv by healing them up
@@mefistofellchannel3534 Witch doctor wasn't too hard, it just so happened to nicely complement my main Inspire build with lobbies. But that sure is one way to grind it.

I remember getting Tabula Rasa with my crew... it was SO hard, but we were SUPER hyped when we eventually did it. To me, that is the sign of a good, difficult achievement.
Tabula Rasa Deathwish before Grinder existing = absolute dopamine.
Same 😅 we where yelling at eachother so much. And near crying when we beat it. Then joking about pd3.
When I did it the first time with a friend of mine, day 1 was an absolute nightmare. We were basically living off of doctor bags and having to take cover at every opportunity. The game apparently took pity on us for day 2 because we got the best RNG imaginable which I have still never beat 7 years later and probably set a speedrun record at the time
I did this last week. wasnt too hard, but it was fun.
2 manned tubula rasa that shit was legit hard...

I personally vote for "A moment of silence"
Breaking feds, you need to distract Garret so often until he gets food poisoning and not kill any guards.
Woot! Unknown Knight shout out! So knowledgeable and teaches some of the most unique guides out there. Crazy how small his audience is given that
This video definetly brought out mu inner achievement hunter.
The jumping cloaker kill is actually pretty easy, just have the cloaker weak, get behing something and wait for him to jump over it
No it is not
Also The End used to be easier, as when it was first solved only the host needed the prerequisites, and could take friends through.
0:05 almost a double nice, nice
I didnt find it all to hard, I just went hard into Grinder and anything to make the bots help me survive.
idea for a new secret achievement:
“This is for being a dumbass on cook off!”
while doing the secret ending, allow the dentist to kill bain
Hardest unnoficial achievment: Join a public Car Shop lobby and complete the heist on the first try with everyone escaping.
Man, Guessing Game on ps3 was fucking horrible
I was playing payday 2 a i was killing cops with the flametrower and i sang " burn baby burn " and the moment those words left my mouth i got the " disco inferno " achievement 😂
i remember doing The End achievement with a friend. just 2 of us with 2 bots. im defending and he's looking up the translation for the quiz's answer. we never felt so satisfied upon completing it
Something of note for "The Secret"
If you get a Bad Achievement, you can complete some Achievements (Any of them.
It’s so bad I invited a few who played decently to a voice chat server on Discord just to have the edge.
I suspect that the completion rates are so low because most people never even attempt or look at the achievements.
using steam metrics is very unreliable due to how they calculate rarity. as long as somebody owns the game they are counted in the achievement unlock count
watching this and thinking about how i was carried through DSOD by friends through all the new DLC they added
i had a friend stealth a few with me on DSOD when i didn't own them
gotta love the pd2 community and their willingness to offer up their dlc for others
‘Having friends is the hardest challenge’ 😭😭
Simple Overkill Salutes You. The achievement given for unlocking every achievement in the game.

Caution Wet Floors is painstakingly hard, but the feeling of landing every jump and getting achievement was worth the suffering.
When you did 10 bag's instead on 8 bags for 'You see me bagging' achievement
Finding friends is more difficult than achivement xD

This was a really interesting video to see, as I'm someone that 100% the Crimewave edition for Xbox, and just moved to PC about a month ago. I'm nearing 900 achievements now, still not quite sure how to survive DSOD, that's a big roadblock for me

It’s only tangentially related, but I have just recently went from console to PC and was trying to do Big Oil in full stealth. I was having issues with Day 3 and had finally got the right engine for Dr. Fantastic to the runway… and the helicopter pilot tripped the goddamn alarm. I didn’t even know that was possible, but it gave an achievement so I guess I traded one for another
I really like these sorts of videos. If you can, please make more of these types
Pre Grinder Tabula Rasa DW is 👌.
Honestly, I'd still much rather do the PD2 Secret again any day over other ARG easter eggs. I'm still reeling from BF1's Master Man challenges.
using the pure percentage method, defeating a SWAT van turret with the CAR-4 is the hardest thing you can do in payday 2
So far i "only" have 680 achievements, but one of the most frustrating i can think of is
"Sound of Silence" - Complete the Alesso heist without your crew killing anyone.
If you have an ICTV + Sicario, they basically can't kill you.
It's still a lot easier if you've got a friend.

14:01 HE SAID AMONG US
As someone who spent 3 hours attempting the Not Today achievement so I could have full wood finish G3 I can confirm that when you're actually trying to do this achievement it's incredibly frustrating.
Imo overdrill was one if not the best achievment to do with my buddies. We went in and while 2 bagged money the other 2 were sprinting down the elevators killing at spawn points
"Didn't act dumb" Should be the name of the L4D2 achievement where you cant trigger any car alarms.
For those unaware about how old Transport: Train worked, here are the biggest differences:
1. There were *40* bags of ammo total and every single one was required for the achievement (the ammo was optional to clear the heist itself)
2. The ammo bags were destructible. Shooting it, it falling a long distance, or a bad horoscope would cause them to blow up, and yes it could cause chain reactions
3. Instead of the unique vault opening in stealth we have now, Bile would drop the thermal drill that you'd put on each vault. Bile did not blow the alarm so stealthing this was possible, but it was even less reliable back then as stealthing Transport: Train was unintentional
If you know how to use drill noise exploits, or had an organised crew and a good strategy, it was achievable, and it was doable on any difficulty, but there were so many points it could go wrong.
9:44 You can cheese this by playing the tutorial -loud and restarting after you trade the civ
I have had "Cappuccino to go please" in the "so close" bit for close to 4 years now
The hardest achievement I have obtained is Sound Of Silence, not only do you have to be a passive, but you have to make sure you don't bump into guards, accidentally break cameras, have severe trigger discipline, and carry all needed loot.
Lol just do that one loud
@@CarrotIsBad It's a stealth only achievement.
@@KptnYggdra nope, that’s how I did it a long time ago. Take any deck with natural regen and it’s a free achievement.
A couple years ago, me and my friend spent from 6 pm to 4 am trying to get the guessing game achievement. Still got it in the end :)
“I don’t think many even knows what mania is.”
Me, who ran Manic perk deck for a while: *death noises*
i think " I am the one who knocks" is the most awful achivement. Unless you have 4 pros with 4 sentries guarding each entry it's near impossible
You can do it on normal
I remember i got that one by accident because one of the public randoms had the Grinder perk deck when it just released and he ran around the house the entire heist killing all enemies as soon as they spawned
Ah yes, the secret ending and all that ARG. I applaud for the courageous one who worked they way to the secret ending, I also happen to be a really good friend of one of them (Orange Cheese Puff Horse; should be on the right side, close to top)
One crazy bastard, but quite the Brainiac when it comes to payday
Or one that needs four players being one about completing heists WITH each player USING masks belonging to the DLC
As a console player I got the baddge "they see baggin'. They hatin'" first try since a level 0 was so persistent on getting all bags
