Don't forget to practically put your chin over your gear shift each & every time as you come to a stop; bike will lean left everytime. Stupid simple, but sometimes overlooked (I know I did for a while& couldn't figure out why it'd "randomly" lean right). Short or not, you'll never look like an idiot wobbling from one foot to the other last sec when stopping. I just imagine that's probably more problematic & potentially irrecoverable the shorter you are, ie drop your bike

You can turn it off in gear that isn’t a problem. If you leave it in neutral your bike can still roll. So only leave it neutral on flat ground or else your bike is rolling away
What do you guys think about a lowering kit for my bike im 5'7" and im ready to upgrade from my ninja 400 to a 600 would a lowering kit for better or not and why not thank you.
im considering buying this bike im 5.7, skill matters more than height but some things to consider, going reverse its gonna be a pain and you wont have and much control over the bike when stopped, however all that can be managed, i ll most likely buy this bike and i already have my z650, when i have both my plan is to use the z650 for daily commute and use the zx6r more for going out with friends and enjoying myself, i still love the z650, super comfortable and enogh power to deal with all kind of traffic, i can also ride it for 3 hours and have no issues at all, wich is something i dont expect the zx6r to do xD, soo for me having both will be better

Because I'm arguably shorter in my old age, I wear a 30-30 blue jean, so I only have a 30 inch inseam, and I sit Tippy Toe at stock height. Always drop mine bikes down with a lowering link 2 inches on 1,000 and above 3 in on 600 and 750, and then I'm super comfortable
I'm 5'2 and live in an area with some hardcore hills, plus, i daily drive my motorcycles, so i need to be able to park them in reverse and all that fun stuff. In conclusion: i'm fucked out of the ZX6 LOL

@@JagMoto636 I had the dealership do it for me and i ran out of money so i went the cheaper route but they just bought aftermarket brackets with 1inch, 1.5, 2, and 2.5inch set holes. Was only 50 bucks.
im 4’11 and ride a lowered n400. ive tried the 636 and its definitely harder but not impossible. i wear platform vans when i want the extra height too. you just have to learn to do slow speeds and stop on one foot, otherwise riding is all the same :)

Supposedly lowering the bike will mess with the handling, but if you’re not taking it to the Twisties or track you should be fine

A 5.5 with a 32 seam will mostly be ok, a 5.5 with 30 seam will struggle.

There’s probably a way to get it that low. The r7 seat height is actually taller than the zx6r by a tiny bit so you should be fine
