There is no way I would trade your bike for an R9. Yeah, they look good, but they are a poser supersport bike. If you want a pure sportbike, a big open class bike, I would still go for the GSXR1000. But, I wouldn't do that. I would love to have your bike, it's excellent!

Don't!! Your GSX S1000 is far better in so many ways!! Get a full exhaust, air filter and a nice tune and you're set!!

Those photos of that curvy road look so much like Route 97 outside of Port Jervis, NY. Yes, the mirrors do look bad-ass. Other than the exhaust system that you mentioned, would be braided steel brake lines for the front. That road to your right, at the time of 4:30 is also a really good road. There is another really nice road on the NJ side of the Delaware River, not far from where you are, called "River Road". River Road will take you to Rte. 206 in Montague, NJ. River Road is by far the best local road in that area. There are excellent turns and Whoop-de-Doos that you can haul-ass and get air-born. We used to ride those roads every weekend. But definitely try River Road along the Delaware River.

You may not need to put much down on the bike to get into the bike but as rule of thumb the interest is going to be very high prolly around 20% so you want to put atleast half down if not more or pay upfront in cash. For a first bike you %1000 need to get a cheap used bike that you can save up for and buy up front that’s just the cold hard truth. Cuz the last thing you want as a new rider is going out buying a real nice bike, crashing it in a few months or so and than being stuck with a payment on a bike that you can’t even ride anymore

That's actually pretty low insurance with GEICO, I'm 33 with a clean record no tickets or crashes and 4 years of experience on a bike. Got a 2025 ninja 650 and they wanted to charge me 360 a month, went with progressive for a 1/3 of the cost.

If you want the R9 I would guess that horse power doesn't make the ride for you because its a drop in hp from the gsx1000. A 150cc gy6 to a 600cc would give you power over the 7hp of a gy6 150cc,,,,,,who would want the scooter????🤘

On a ninja 400 74mph 3rd gear and 94mph 4th gear with a 1/2 throttle restriction, with a slip-on and the same 1/2 throttle restriction you get reduced performance and 94mph in 6th gear. Also the slip-on reduces the top RPM of 14,500 to 10,000rpm.❤

Fender eliminator cleans up the back but your back gets it when it rains, since it does look like an MV Agusta I was looking for the rear mud guard that goes on the swingarm like the $70,000 MV Agusta,,,,,,❤
