As for the decoys, duck generally cluster when there is danger. I like to use at least 6 foot of cable per decoy, and I never use a static rig on tidal waters.
@@edweatherby602 yes I should have clarified that comment by meaning general legislation. You’re right local rules can apply. Thanks for the info. I’m heading to a Scottish Marsh soon that has strict time limits.
@@crazyferret9409 After the last couple of days. (films to follow) I am yearning to go back to my side by sides. I always have shot best with a SxS. Will look for a modern one that is steel shot proofed and multi choke.
Great video can relate more to this content, amazing what you see when your out
Here in Australia we have very strict shooting times. Can’t shoot till 8am or 1/2 hour after sundown
Night flights are the best! Forget the bag, just being there is pure magic.
Great vid, looking forward to seeing more.
@@bell2224 thank you. Friday night is Premier night!
@@CumbrianWildfowler popcorn sorted !
Another great video. I really enjoyed the timelapse of the decoys rising with the tide.
Plenty more on the way. ..Thank you.

Hi nick it’s Joss
Hello mate. Hope you enjoy these films. Lets collaborate soon! Some pike fishing in the Lakes...I've got just the place...
Some clubs in England have time restrictions. One particular club has a 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset as part of the lease rules.

Really?? Where??
@@crazyferret9409 On the south coast.
Is that Westmorland Wildfowlers marshes, I shoot further down in the Furness area.
No, further north from you,
Oh, OK, threw me there looks like the Arnside viaduct.
I guess it does. Small marsh this one. Part of the reason I use a moderator to try and keep the disturbance down - to ducks and people!
Do you reload?
@@Swygard yes, see my reloading films
Nice hide, that's too easy shooting. Not like down here, it's mud and discomfort!
@@richiedd4119 I can do mud and discomfort don’t you worry!! Stay tuned.
Hides or a muddy creek, it all depends on the marsh. Both are amazing to be based in. The main thing is you're out in nature.
Pumps are a disaster 😑 mate semi automatic all the way
I need a pump to cycle the subsonics. Semi's just don't, much as I like them.
How about just a good old fashioned s/s or o/u? That said, Chris Green does well with a pump.

Nope, private marsh. in West Cumbria
