Just the sound of those big flocks of greenwings cutting in was special! What an amazing morning and video Elliot, loved it! Can't wait to see what this spot produces the rest of the season
That was fantastic footage! I'm glad you guys were selective and stretched out that hunt so everyone that watches this could watch that amazing spectacle! What a day!
The last season on the lease where I cut my teeth on water fowling, we had 3 hunts in a row that were similar to this. We had greenwing teal on us thick. As fast as we could reload, another group would be dropping in to the spread. It was some of the fastest action I have ever seen. In fact the second day was a Monday and we almost beat the school bus, on its way to school, to the bridge at the landing. Awesome hunt!!!
Yes! Calling the shot was not an easy task in this one. Just kind of had to pick off birds one at a time. We didnt want to just blast away at everything in range.
@@FreelanceDuckHunting You would have been done after about three passes! Love the videos, long time follower! Blessings to you and the family (miss seeing your dad out there).
Thank you so much! I miss my dad hunting as well. He has Parkinson’s. The next video we did bring him with us to watch the hunt! I’ll have that video out as soon as I’m done editing it.
@@FreelanceDuckHunting That is awesome that he is still able to get out and at least watch. He won't have Parkinson's in the Kingdom! The Spirit and the Bride say come!
Most of them were not actually finishing in the decoys. There were plenty of passing shots that could have been taken. But why shoot passing shots when you can wait for an easy one. It was a difficult situation for shot calling. They weren't really flying in flocks. They were everywhere and flying in all directions. It's better to take it slow and take great shots than to just shoot all over the place frantically. Staying controlled on hunts like these is much more enjoyable than just shooting at each bird within range.
I’m sorry to hear that and I know how hard that is to deal with. Just provide the opportunities for him to be outdoors and see where it leads. That’s the best you can do.
Hi James, You can find Golden on Hunts #1,3,8,10,and 11 from this seasons playlist. Unfortunately fumbles is now 81 and isn't physically able to do much hunting. He's gone out with me twice this season but those videos have not been made yet. Here's the link to the playlist form this season ua-cam.com/play/PLd1Vr4O474WAwsEwlUxC9h9oYfOIauPnZ.html
@ i know how he feels at 66 its harder for me than 60 , my son has me in his mud boat most times , not a great year up here water is so low even mud boats cant go where the ducks are
Watching this hunt hurts my head. Instead of limiting the amount of pressure and educating as little birds as possible they bird watch. So cringe watching new hunters sometimes
What is it about Duck Hunters and constant criticism about other guys hunts. Lighten up Francis, they were not educating those birds they were just being selective and trying to avoid water sluicing. I didn’t see a single sky-bust moment.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was an amazing day.
That’s crazy!!! That’s the day when you tell your buddies there were 1000s of ducks they go the next day you get 3 😅
You had more duck in the decoys on this hunt than I’ll see all season. Great hunt
And turkeys gobbling!!! Sheewww weee
The sound those huge flocks made was insane. What an unbelievable hunt
You saw more ducks in one hunt than I do in an average season in my part of the country!
That was fantastic footage! I'm glad you guys were selective and stretched out that hunt so everyone that watches this could watch that amazing spectacle! What a day!
Awesome hunt 🔥
The footage was incredible, the ripping wings just amazing 😎
Absolutely incredible! Crazy how low the water is since I was there. Elijah has the waterfowl bug bad!
What a beautiful hunt! Love seeing those huge wads of greenwings.
I knew you'd love this one :)
Make a cup of hot coffee and enjoy the hunt 😛😁

What an incredible video and amazing duck show. Congrats on the limits
Awsome! Those big groups of teal and their erratic flight make it so hard to focus on a single bird! Nice to see!

I always tell people that you see more ducks in a day than I do in a season. This video.... WOW!
It was unbelivable!
Awesome hunt!
Holy cow what an amazing hunt, nice job as always
It was an amazing sight to see!
That was crazy. It was like a duck blizzard.
Crazy number of teal. Guess they’ll stick around with these 60 degree afternoons. Ought to be a good hole when the big ducks arrive. Great shoot. 👍
Thank you! Hunt #2 from this spot will be out soon!
Those were all fresh birds come in from the stratosphere!!!!
It was a sight to see!!!
Good hunt boys.
Sweet hunt 👍
Awesome! - Can I come next time - Lol
Man that's a lot of green wingers !
Water looks low like up here in northern mn
Awesome.
My goodness!
Woah. Why did you all shoot like once or twice each time

What blind set up is that
Fast Strike from Rogers. So light and easy to carry in. rogerssportinggoods.com/?ref=ELLIOTTSNIDER
What state? Can’t believe so many teal
Was also,xurious on state.
I don't like to reveal specific states but i'll tell you mid central flyway.
So how did you get your son back into hunting? Mine is 13 and can't stand it.
I’m sorry to hear that and I know how hard that is to deal with. Just provide the opportunities for him to be outdoors and see where it leads. That’s the best you can do.
Wheres golden boy and fumbles

You could hunt the rest of your life not see that many birds in nc
Where?

what a foolish comment. Go away
You’re exactly right!
That comment makes no sense you contradicted it I don’t see the point you’re making.?

teal that will be migrated south in a few weeks. Strike while the iron is hot! 😂
It’s a shame this happens to these clowns. God dammit.
