I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but at around 5:28, you can hear the same note progression that plays in the "Narzissenkreuz Ordo," linking that whole questline to the entire region, really showing how important they are. It's such a good motif. Fontaine has quickly, become my personal favourite region.
The Fontaine theme alone has been solidified as my absolute favorite of the regions! There’s just such a great mix of elements of mystery & drama in that single score that makes it all so alluring & captivating from start to finish! 💙💙💙

5:45 → 6:12 My favorite part. The music is engaging and dynamic, simply marvellous; also the entire recall to the classic music is what makes me love the Fountaine soundtrack SO much… 🛐 An applause for the musicians: precise and passionate, they were just perfect in these 3 performances!
@@Shibu-069 Sumeru battle themes and the Sumeru theme itself was made by him. Most of the forest part was done by him while the desert part was not by him. Her wishes is one of the pieces he did for the desert which is phenomenal.

When I heard 8:20 and 8:51 in-game I thought that I will complete the game just by beating these Pyro Slimes, because it sounds like if I was fighting the final boss of Teyvat in his true final form
the part at 6:00 always reminds me of certain parts in the classic piece "The Moldau", the busy string really convey the chaos that wild river currents can have i really wouldnt be surprised if the music team took some inspiration from this legendary piece that is also about water
Oh myy… that third theme reminds me of Ravels quartet and trio. Especially 2 movement of his quartet - it’s literally a complete battle theme for Fontaine :D (But i suppose that 4 movement of quartet and his concert are more similar to that) Thanks for sharing pure beauty with us :>
To be honest, I think that the first one played should've been saved for Natlan. There's frickin castanets and guitars in the song, and it screams more South America(Natlan) that France(Fontaine). My favorite battle ost though.

its a leitmotif of the Photon Fluctuation, its present to every ( not all) battle music across every region. I interpreted it as the travelers theme in the setting of the region.

Fontaine music was made without yu peng so while it may be sad he left, fontaine is proof that genshin music is still goated without him
